Love, love, love this place! The associate was so kind, friendly & helpful. My friends & I celebrated a birthday with wine & one of a kind creations. You can design your own candies, wax melts, car fresheners, lotions, sugar shower scrubs, room fresheners & much more! There are over 100 scented candies to smell. You decide which ones you like & write them down. Decide which products you want to crest & the associate will help you perfect it. You then mix the oils to your liking & associate add the oils to the sugar, soaps, etc. You then create your own labels. It's really fun. I came up with different scents for each product I purchased! They also have candies already created. Bought a coffee bean candle for my Starbucks loving daughter. She adores it. :) They also have wine! So fun. I unfortunately wouldn't return here. I waited to write this review to give it a fair shot, but it's disappointing. We went on a Saturday afternoon and there was no one there. We were able to take all our time and smell all of the scents multiple times if needed. We picked out the jars and went to work. When mixing the fragrances together they were pretty potent and smelled amazing. The candle sizes we picked were about $20 dollars each. The experience at the storefront was great, but once we got home and lit each candle the fragrance was non-existent. I wish I could say that is an exaggeration, but it isn't. I even burned my candle in the bathroom since it's a smaller area to see if maybe that would help, but nope! It was the same result everytime. I have lit the candle multiple times thinking maybe this is it! But I always end up disappointed. This place is too expensive for it to not have throw and trust me the scents we picked weren't weak. It's for an "experience", but I don't know why anyone would want to pay $40 for 2 candles that they'll NEVER use since they don't smell! **There is a reason all the other reviews say nothing about the actual product! read more

My friends and I stopped in after brunch to check the place out. We absolutely loved it! The staff is great, the place is clean and trendy. The selection is fabulous! My sister and I went here for a fun afternoon out. It was great! I loved blending my own scents, and there were so many to choose from. I ended up doing two candles and my sister did two of the reed diffusers (with caps--she had to travel with them to MN). I brought a group of friends here for a calm but enjoyable ladies night out after one young lady had lost her husband in an unexpected tragedy. This is such a wonderful place, and the owners are amazing people. I love being able to select my own scents, and proportions. I have been back several times with different friends. My sister was visiting from Germany, and of course we stopped and spent some time at Foxfire. Jennifer was there to greet me, and was as friendly as always. They are taking great pains to make the experience safe, while keeping it enjoyable. I love my candles, but you also can use the scents to make diffusers or sprays or even sanitizer. read more

Such a cute spot for girls day or date night! When you walk in you are greeted by the owner and staff! You have the option to either make your own candle, sugar scrub, lotions etc. or you can buy ones already made. This is such a great experience, if you have never been to this place , you should eventually make your way! I personally loved the hospitality, the owner is so passionate about what she does and you can tell! I had an amazing time creating my candle and sugar scrub, they walk you through the process and you can create your own label. They offered wine/beer, which was nice. It is also very affordable! I cannot believe how amazing of an experience we had here for my husband's 30th birthday party. Let me tell you, he is as macho and as sporty as they get-- and he was more into it than me!!! LOL Everything was sanitized and we were made VERY comfortable with the process. We were able to make a reservation and have the whole place to ourselves (6 of us), which was an added bonus for experience and safety. Jennifer and Julia made us feel right at home. They were so accommodating, kind, and professional. I honestly can't believe how sweet they are and how fun the experience was. And I REALLY can't believe how much the guys enjoyed it. I visited Foxfire on a Thursday afternoon, where I was promptly greeted & the process was explained... There's a wall of scents (from classics like vanilla & linen, to unique scents like bacon, bread, even cannabis). After sniffing all scents that appealed to me, the amazing staff helped me narrow down & pair up scents to create a personalized candle (you can also make a reed diffuser or wax melts). I then had full control of how much of each scent (oil) I added (and the sky is the limit when it comes to how many different scents you mix!). Once everything was combined, I had to leave my candle to set up (great time to go browse other stores or grab a meal/snack), then I was able to take home a beautifully packaged candle. What a brilliant idea & a fun experience. I mixed 3 amazing scents - peppercorn, spiced rum, and black & tan. My house now smells amazing. Thank you Foxfire, I'll be back! read more

Really wanted to like this place since it's so close to home. My group did the "make your own candle" and it's not very "interactive." The ladies were super helpful but in my opinion it's hard to make a candle with only 3 scents being allowed. The reason I said it's not very interactive is because they pour the wax for you and the wick is already pre installed within the jar. There's a candle making place in the heights that lets you pick as many scents as you'd like, put your wicker in and pour your own wax. Needles to say I probably will just make the drive to the heights next time to be able to get the full "candle making experience." But overall I'm happy with the way my candle smells, I just expected the full candle making experience and this locations candle making process did not provide that. read more

My girlfriend and I were visiting family in Texas over the weekend and went to Foxfire for something to do together. We split a bottle of wine and had a great time. Staff is excellent and helped guide us through the scent-pairing process. I found it quite interesting and settled on a mix of incense, eucalyptus, sandalwood, and some other scent I can't remember off the top of my head. While the candles were cooling (takes about an hour), we walked over to Peli Peli and had a good meal. By the time we got back, the candles were nicely-packed and ready to go. Love love this place!! It's awesome for the whole family. Bring my kids in and bring their friends and they love to create candles and their favorite is the room spray. The staff is awesome with the kids. Also have went with group of girls and that was fun too. Love trying random scent mixes. However, my new obsession is their hand soap. Like for real the soap is amazing. I have blended new hand soaps for every sink in my home. The perfect amount of scent lingers after you use it and it makes my hands softer. One blend I'm loving on right now is my lettuce, mint, and peppercorn. So refreshing. Actually peppercorn blends great with pretty much everything. read more
