These apartments are great. Great and attentive staff and maintenance who truly cares about grounds and work orders.

In October of last year, I moved to the DFW area from out of state. I ended up choosing Foxborough as a place of residence mainly because of reviews I found on Yelp, Google, and Apartments.com. It seemed good enough, but I regret that choice. I don't often write reviews, but I've relied on them myself in the past, so I hope my review only helps others by providing the truth. We all know that opinions are subjective, which is why I've attached plenty of photos as proof of what I experienced. The pictures don't lie, and basically say what I can't. I moved from out of state and was naturally concerned because I basically made the decision to go with a place before ever having viewed the unit I would be living in. I only did that because of the cost. It was too expensive and time consuming to fly back and forth, or drive for that matter, from where I was living previously to the DFW in order to do the kind of apartment searching I really wanted to. From the beginning, the application process was lackluster. I don't feel I was given good communication at all. I worked with Jackie S. I think on almost every occasion, I was the one who reached out to her for either a status update or question about what to expect next. That was the first red flag, but foolishly I dismissed it. When I did arrive on the day I was to move in, the unit was not ready. I met with Jackie, who did not call me at all that day or the days leading up to it, and we went to the apartment to do a walk through. The apartment was not as described. I was told all first level units had no carpet, but this old one did still have carpet in the master bedroom (it was a 1 bedroom unit), and it was soaking wet. There was still tape left over in many areas they had been painted over, mainly the bathroom. Their cleaning crew had not yet cleaned the place. I knew by the look on Jackie's face that she had never taken the time to walk the unit herself just to make sure everything was ready. This put me in a really bad spot. I had driven for over 13 hours from another state, I only had a week off from work for the move, and all my stuff was storage, which was a lifesaver actually!! (it would have been far worse if I had arrived with a moving truck and movers on the day of moving just for it to not be ready). I needed things to get resolved quickly. I expressed my concerns before signing, and was basically told something like "look you can sign today, and we'll take care of everything that needs addressing, and we can just credit you for the time that it takes to address those things." I was not totally alone in my move, I came with my 2 dogs. I had to start working again the following week, which thankfully I can do remotely, so I agreed and we continued the process. The first night I was there, THERE WERE COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE! This unit was infested with cockroaches, which you can see in the photos. There was an infestation, which you can tell from the fact that many baby cockroaches were present. That was the last straw. I took the "condition report" they gave me and documented everything that was not acceptable. I told them I wanted it taken care of, wanted to be reimbursed for the time it wasn't ready, the cost to stay elsewhere, and wouldn't stay there until it was. The manager, Jackie F., was just as indifferent as her employee. I stayed in a hotel for 3 nights to allow time for them to correct everything. During that time, they still were not communicating much at all. At that point I had had enough, I used those 3 days to find another place near by that was slightly more expensive, but was far better in every way. I spoke with management about reimbursement, and I did finally receive reimbursement for what I paid to Foxborough, but not for the hotel expenses I incurred for those 3 nights. I was furious. I spent almost $400 on that just because they didn't care and didn't do their job. Bottom line - if you've read all of this, I highly recommend not moving here. P.S. I can finally give my review after living here for 6 months. I wish I had waited for something better. I have had to complain about something here too many times. I live on the second floor and my first set of neighbors walked so hard all day long I recorded them! I reported it to the office and spoke to Betty then; she was supposed to give them notice. I don't think she did because the noise never stopped. I had spoken to another young lady in the office who did not know of my previous complaint. I don't know if she did or not because the noise continued. I just gave up! Fast forward to the new neighbors and it's the same thing, just not as often which lets me know it's not all their fault, the floors and walls are too thin! I constantly hear other neighbors' showers and toilets running. Also, when the upstairs neighbors finally moved maintenance made repairs to the floors because all I smelled was the strong chemicals, it took days to air out. Here it is again, and they are doing the same thing downstairs. It's currently 34* out, I can't leave all my windows and doors open. This place needs updating! I live in the back in a corner unit and they dont maintain back here like they do in the front. And yes there are roaches, loud airplanes noise all day, and stinky water! It was affordable and walkable to things but thats it, I would rather pay more for better. read more

Don't live here if you want to live comfortably I guess. I've made a grand total of 8 maintenance reports about our AC not blowing cold air this year alone and it's still reaching temps in excess of 84 degrees inside. Meanwhile our electric bill is more than doubled the last few months because of the half-functioning AC running nonstop just to keep us alive in this heat. And while they did eventually fix our AC, but I still cannot recommend this place. We are currently in our second unit because our old one flooded a couple of years ago and they ignored our maintenance requests for THREE DAYS until our apartment began to grow mold due to the water. We were happy with the new unit as a solution but it was still atrocious to ignore a FLOOD for 3 days. Recently, they have raised our rent again. We started at $950 here originally, it raised to $1050 and then $1185, and are now threatening us with $1215/m. We are in a 600sqft ONE BEDROOM on the SECOND STORY! They have only given us 15 days to "decide" on this, as they pin the notice to the door just before the 60 day period that you are required to tell them if you're moving. So now we're scrambling to get approved at a new place just to get away from these maniacs. We adored the staff when we first moved in. Robert was wonderful. But Robert left years ago and we've since then had nothing but floods, pests, mold, maintenance issues, and been bled for money. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

It was getting very stressful looking for apartments in the midst of the pandemic l, and I was beginning to consider just renewing my old lease but I'm so happy I didn't! They offered me the option to do either a virtual tour or in person tour. I ended up doing both because I ended up changing my mind, and Nicole was so understanding and pleasant! Even when I felt I was asking far too many questions she made me feel at ease and never pressured me into making a decision. This complex is pet friendly as well which is a plus! Wow after after living there for a whole year dealing with my mailbox being left open several times, the gym closed for months, water outage for a week. I'm being charged for something i didn't even know i was responsable for is outrageous! Not to mention when i called the manager Adriana Caballerol had a nonchalant attitude about it... i wouldn't recommend anyone to deal with this property! read more

I was searching for apartments a year ago for my dad and we were short on time since his lease was going to be ending so soon. This is one of many stops that we took but it was hands down the best! The customer service was so professional and helpful. My dad lives alone and I worry about him since he is older and Nicole made him feel like family. I was so thankful we could find something that fit him financially and still in the same area he is so familiar with. He loves Irving and doesn't see himself anywhere so Foxborough was perfect. read more

I have been here for four years, and everything I've needed has been addressed. There is a business office and fresh coffee everyday. The maintenance staff is excellent and everybody in the office, especially Roberto, Nicole, Jackie, and Adriana, are angels. They have always been so wonderful about my requests and needs. The pool here is great; the apartment is very safe; they just redid the workout room; and everything I need is taken care of. You even get a bonus if you sign the lease early, and the price increase for the rental price is wonderful. I love it here! read more

I've lived at Foxborough since April 2017 and I've enjoyed living here. Maintenance is good and gets to work orders in a timely manner. If there's ever an issue or someway they can help Jackie F the property manager goes above and beyond to find a solution. And the office staff are so friendly and often host resident events. I've grown to really love it here and this area of Irving feels like home to me now. I definitely recommend checking it out here if you are looking in the side of Irving bY Walmart on 183. read more

I moved and left a forwarding address on the day I moved out. A week later they called and tried to get me to pay them for moving expenses without having ever sent me a bill. They claimed that they didn't have a forwarding address. I gave it to them again. A week later I got a call from a collections agency but I still hadn't received a bill. I told the collections agency, my address so I could see what I was being charged for. Still didn't get a bill, but continued to get harassing calls. read more

SUCK. No better term to describe. We lived at Foxborough for over two years (had we been able to afford a move sooner, we would have fled this hole immediately). But, yes: SUCK. They SUCK. Awful, fake "management," maintenance was a poor quality joke--although we will say they TRIED. Maintenance just wasn't equipped with the tools they needed to do necessary work. Grounds: trashy and landscaping work non-existent past the areas that can be seen by public. Service? WHAT service? Resident's concerns were generally ignored/needs unaddressed. BEWARE. Please, trust us. There are less expensive places where the service and maintenance are better!! read more

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS UNSAFE AND RAGGEDY COMMUNITY!!!! I moved in 2 1/2 months ago and its been a nightmare!!!! I had to get my attorney involved! The two managers named Jackie is rude and feel like the tenants owe them because they have to do their job! They will lie and twist stories, so it's best to communicate with them through the email system for proof; when needed because you are going to need it. Trust me! One of the leasing consultants Audrianna lied on me and to me. She lied and told me the apartment will be clean and painted before I move in and it was in the same exact condition when I moved in. She lied and said I never told her any of my concerns, which was my reason for calling. She had the nerve to tell me "It's not her problem, she's done her part" when I complained to her about all of the discrepancies and concerns I had after moving in. Remind you, this falls under her job description and duties. She gets paid to address and handle my concerns! Why is her title the leasing consultant? How is she an asset to the company and residents if shes not there to help us? Remind you, her job is resident-centered. Remind you, she's also the one who leased the apartment to my husband and I. The apartment was dirty when I moved in, the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom needed repainted badly. There were over 50 discrepancies I had to write in on the move-in inventory sheet. they acted like they didn't see the sheet or the list of 20 work orders I had written on a separate sheet. Then, I had to contact my lawyer to get the work orders completed in a timely fashion. It took them forever to fix everything! They gave us a hard time and was trying to play the blame game on my husband and I! Their attitude was unprofessional and unethical! They never showed concern or remorse for the inconvenience I encountered. They even tried to make things right and offered an inconvenience fee, which later I found out from my lawyer was a "settlement agreement". I was advised not to sign; due to giving up my tenant rights, not holding them liable for future or past problems, and not speaking on this matter. Here's a list of concerns you would probably have as a tenant: OUTRAGEOUS FEES (11.95 community fee, 3.00 pest control, 3.99 billing fee, 10 trash fee,) Rude Staff and management Poor quality, poor up-keeping, poor landscaping, poor customer service, poor staff, poor units, poor parking, poor security Horrible and low quality subcontractors MAJOR VANDALISM (burglary left my husbands car on wood blocks) No communication Do not communicate with you when a theft or burglary has taken place Water is always getting turned off, but my 1st water bill was over $60 Cameras only in entrance and exit, not by your cars Specialized parking for some Not enough visitors parking spaces NO CODE OF ETHICS NO PROFESSIONALISM No concern No investing in property long-term Old and small units Landscaping Around Building Falling apart Mud and dirt replaces grass Plastic drainage pipes laying around Wood crate been laying in the front of my building for 2 months nails on sidewalk; due to landscaping falling apart bushes is dead trash is everywhere A lot of drinking at the pool Dog poop everywhere and they are always out of dog bags, so I have to bring my own, so I won't get charged Annette from corporate is no help, so don't waste your time calling Staff isn't held accountable for their job duties, work ethics, and interaction with the tenants there's so much more, but I've encountered all of this and I've only been here 2 1/2 months! I'm just glad I didn't sign a lengthy lease agreement because I can't wait to leave! I honestly only like one person on the entire staff and he's one of the maintenance workers who always complete my work orders. He's nice and efficient. At first, my relationship with the staff at Foxborough was a kind and exciting one. They were forefront and honest about their pricing and leasing terms. Whenever there was a maintenance issue, they were quick to resolve it. The apartment was what I was looking for at a value price. That all changed when it came time for renewal. Initially, I wanted to move into one of their townhouse units once my lease in my 1 bedroom expired. Turns out I had to pay $200 just to transfer the lease into the new apartment, plus whatever fees associated with signing a new lease at the end of the original lease. I decided I wanted to look at other apartments before making my decision and in between February and April I visited their leasing office 6 times to gather information on the potential moving out process. Things really got sour when I did find a new apartment and went in to extend my move out date (May 3rd) for four days. Turns out I had to give them a written 60 day notice of when my move out date will be, apparently a verbal move out date wasn't sufficient in the previous 6 visits, and not ONCE did they mention this in those previous 6 visits. Basically this shady enterprise waited until the last possible minute to inform me that I had to submit a written 60 day move out date, even though I specifically met with their staff the last 4 months to settle the moving out process. I would be wary of this apartment complex, they really only care about your money, not optimal service and they will do whatever they can to ensure they coffers grow even if it means risking your service. The ironic thing is they claim they are a "top-rated" service...We'll see about that. Oh yea, a post-script, for the last 10 months I have been having persistent clanking noises associated with their outdated water plumbing that they said they couldn't fix. read more
