Would like to update my review in response to David's reply. The picture DOES in fact show capsular contracture, and had you not been in denial you would have noticed this immediately upon seeing me. I don't need you to "educate" me on what happens to implants, and what this picture means. I was already informed by TWO amazing surgeons who took the time to assess me and educate me. And do not try and downplay Breast Implant Illness, when I am surrounded by 170,000 other women who are dealing with or have dealt with it. And that's just women who happened to have Facebook and found the group for BII. Had you been a good doctor, you could have addressed my concerns while I was in your office instead of commenting on a review. I did get help and I am TEN time's healthier, no thanks to you! read more

Fox Valley Plastic Surgery - This is a capsular contracture! Very noticeable and very painful! Dr. Janssen knew this yet did nothing to help!! - Medical Spas Near Me - Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Highly knowledgeable, professional and discreet. I have been a client here for a number of years. I came here to get hep with my Rosacia on my face. Courtney did a "map" of my face and helped me select products that go with my needs- and my budget. The painful redness on my face is something I thought I'd have to live with or cover up my whole life. I have learned of treatments that help me. This place has a medi-spa featuring facials and body treatments. Laser treatments, Botox injections and fillers. Though I believe many clients are older women going to preserve their beauty. I have heard stories like mine where a family doctor and skin doctor can't help without taking pills to ruin my liver. I have some specialty creams that have helped me so much. I have been able to get try skin disease under control with their help! I am considering doing a facial with a friend. And will update when I do. read more

Fox Valley Plastic Surgery - Waiting area - Medical Spas Near Me - Oshkosh, Wisconsin

This was the only surgery I've had in my life, so I had my apprehensions. However, I contemplated breast aug for many years and only regret I didn't get it done prior to my 40s. I'm a professional and do not feel the need to "flaunt", but having a figure that makes me feel comfortable and in proportion to the rest of my body has been life-changing. Every single interaction I had with staff, from the front desk, to the preop nurse on surgery day, the PA for initial followup, and more recently Dr. Jansen at my year+ followup has been extremely positive. You are made to feel comfortable in every step of the process. Dr. Jansen is extensively knowledgeable and answers any questions you can possibly have. His experience in the surgery suite is obvious as my results are better than I could have ever hoped for. He listens to what you want and not only delivered, but exceeded my expectations. I was up doing light housework less than 24 hours post surgery and required minimal pain meds post procedure. As an RN who consults on legal cases, I've seen the results of what happens when people try to "find the best deal" on their plastic surgery. Do NOT take the risk of going to out of the state/country for a procedure that could not only permanently disfigure you, but also put you at serious health risk. You will not regret the decision to get it done right the first time and be treated like the wonderful human you are along the entire process! read more

I had two procedures done last spring, one of them being a mini tummy tuck. Never having a procedure done before I had no idea what to expect. On my last consultation prior to surgery I let them know I wasn't sure if I would get the results I was actually looking for with a mini as not many qualify to have them (they suggested the mini at the first consultation, I was willing to pay for and do a full even in needed). I was reassured that a mini would be good and there would be no benefit to do any other. Well, come to find out, no lipo is included in the mini. I did a lot of research prior and everything I read on indicated that lipo was included in all tummy tucks. The paperwork given to me prior to the surgery was not specifically for a mini so it did not say anything there either. After the procedure inquired and was told the mini did not include it, but I could have added it for $1,000 which I DEFINITELY would have done had someone told me. If I want to go and have the lipo separately now it will cost 7-8,000. Everything else turned out great and they were easy to work with, I just wish there had been better communication on that end as that is a lot of money wasted for me to now go have the procedure done separately. read more

After many years of contemplating, I finally had a breast augmentation and tummy tuck and I could not have found anyone better than Dr. Janssen and the wonderful Staff of Fox Valley Plastic Surgery! Dr. Janssen's incredible 2 step process is the key to my posting this post 5 YEARS AFTER my surgery! I am beyond happy in his plan of the surgery, then another quick in office tightening shortly after, I know I can look forward to many, many years of confidence and complete happiness in my decision and only wish I would have found him sooner! read more

Stay away from Dr Janssen! He's terrible! He totally botched 3 procedures I had done. Wish I never went there!

I never expected my journey to be a long one but it was a successful one. I couldn't have made a better choice than Dr. Janssen. Sixteen years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer that was treated with a lumpectomy and radiation. In April, 2019, I was again diagnosed with breast cancer and teamed up with Dr. Bermus and Dr. Janssen for a double mastectomy and reconstruction. I've had complications with reconstruction due to my radiated breast and Dr. Janssen helped me every step of the way. He made me feel like I deserved to have my dream of being complete and he was going to get me the closest he could to my goal. And he delivered! He's professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, friendly, caring, and he has a gift in combining science with art. There were times I didn't think it was possible to have a good outcome but Dr. Janssen and his staff never made me feel that I'm in this alone. Given what he had to work with, he did a spectacular job! I have to shout a big thank you to his staff also. Amanda PA, Lauren RP, Shayna, Shannan, Vicki, Sarah, Amber, Sue, the scheduling team, Maria, Meg, Yer, Julie and many others behind the scenes. They work so well together and treat you like part of their family. After dealing with six surgeries, many drains, infections, vacs, a latissimus flaps, physical therapy, exchanges, I'm I happy to report that I feel wonderfully complete! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I highly recommend Dr. Janssen for all your surgical needs. You won't regret it! Cindy Scheelk read more

A friend recommended them for some last minute injections for a wedding I was attending in the area. I get these done regularly in Chicago but wasn't able to get in prior to my trip. First, the nurse, Cindy that did my injections couldn't have been more unprofessional, speaking negatively about her ex husband and her divorce. Second, she was so rough and hap hazard about the application and I immediately regretted my decision. Third, I was outraged by the amount they charged me. I live in Chicago and I pay 40% less than this place for the identical application - and I don't get stabbed and I don't have to counsel the nurse during the procedure. My face was bruised and I was miserable for days afterward. If I had never had them done before I may not have thought much of this but I have been getting this done for years and never had an experience even close to this. Stay clear of this place - horrible employees and extremely over priced. read more

I've been contemplating laser hair removal for several years now, and seeing that this place not only was close by, but is a genuine surgery center with, you know, actual medical professionals, I finally bit the bullet and called for a complimentary consultation (since these places don't provide pricing any other way). The lady was super nice, took my info, and scheduled me for the next day, telling me to be sure to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. This afternoon I dutifully arrived at 2:15 and was handed a stack of stuff to fill out by the lovely ladies at the reception desk. I filled it out promptly and turned it in, but I wasn't called back until 2:40, ten minutes past my appointment, and as I was contemplating asking if they were running behind (the sign on the desk says to check with them if you've waited more than ten minutes). The woman doing my consultation was an RN, which seemed reassuring...until she admitted that the main hair removal lady was out sick, so I had been put with her instead. She pretty much just asked which areas I was interested in, had to step out to check with someone on the pricing, and quoted me $600/treatment. At six treatments (treatments 7 and 8 are free), that's $3,600. I had to ask to get that in writing (I like to have things to look at later) and for brochures on their financing options, as well as any details on the actual treatments -- how long, how painful, that kind of thing. The whole thing couldn't have taken more than ten minutes, and other than pricing, it was all information available on their website. Once home, the boyfriend inquired whether I should just get my legs done (I had requested several other areas as well), which was when I realized that the pricing wasn't broken out by area. I called to inquire, which was when things started getting really confusing, with the receptionist giving me different pricing than the RN I'd seen. She put me on hold to check with the only hair removal expert actually in the office (the person who had consulted with my RN), and then informed me that the RN had "been feeling generous" and given me the legs-only price, but thrown in the other areas. So the $600/treatment quote was actually a SAVINGS of $300. Which, uh, they hadn't told me when I was actually there, or I might have been much more excited about the whole thing. So, thanks? Don't get wrong, everyone was very nice, even when I was pushing back a little on the confusing pricing, but I just can't get that enthused about committing a year (4-6 weeks between each of 8 treatments) and $3,600 to these folks. Other than the price, I got almost nothing out of the consultation, and they now have a giant file on me full of my medical information. Honestly, I feel pretty underwhelmed about the whole thing, and I don't think I'll be using their services. read more

I rate the surgical skills as an A. Communication skills as D-. I expected better. I believe questions and concerns were seen as criticism and complaints. I am accustom to open discussions with my health care providers. My questions and concerns were never addressed other than "give it time". The M.D. missed 2 appointments. He regularly give sarcastic glances to my husband that I was problematic. My husband encouraged my early on to find someone else. Eight and one half months after the procedure this "hysterical female" removed a 3/8 to 1/2 inch piece of suture material. read more

What an amazing experience! Every associate is so informative, friendly, helpful and responsive; Dr. Janssen is incredibly thorough and a true perfectionist. I'd never go anywhere else! read more

I honestly cant speak to their work because I only got an estimate. The Dr. was professional and honest...Doubek I think. My husband had a hand injury and also saw them (Janssen?) and had a good experience. However, the pricing seemed high compared to others in the region and state, but are located extremely close (less than 2 miles) to my house at the time so that was a major plus. I wanted a breast reduction and he told me to lose weight and have any kids first because the amount (CCs) needed to be removed for insurance to pay based on my height and weight at that time would not leave me with an aesthetically pleasing outcome (B/C cup) for my frame in his professional opinion and many women want a lift after pregnancy so best to wait until after. Then again, they do put implants in routinely (and 'fix' small breasts by American beauty standards- but that's neither here nor there and I have no judgement) so their idea of too small may not match mine especially after years of carrying around DDDs. read more
