The farm is about 45 minutes from Chevy Chase/Bethesda, but the drive is very easy - just up 270. It's a quick 15 minutes from the Frederick area. Melinda welcomes students from beginner levels to very advanced. The facilities are top notch and the community is very friendly. Both the horses and the students are happy. There are acres of fields and miles of trails, as well as an indoor arena for rainy days or cooler temperatures. I couldn't ask for a better place to ride or a better place for my horses!!!

We arrived 30 minutes early for the appointment and they were able to accommodate us quickly. New clients will need to sign new patient paperwork, but the form was simple to complete. Patrons here are extremely friendly, but the general community doesn't seem to wear masks, which is Just something to be mindful of. Some of the staff also do not wear masks in the waiting room. The staff are welcoming and bright. Jess did the intake and she was sweet and patient with my dog. She was very efficient with the intake process. Our appointment was with Dr. M and WOW, SHE IS FANTASTIC. She answered all our questions and made us feel confident in the caliber of care we were receiving. The checkout process was seamless and they even email an itemized receipt of charges promptly after your appointment. There are no hidden fees and they are honest from the start.
