My daughter started riding lessons in Florida and loved being on a horse. When we moved north, we…read moremade it a priority to find a place that she could continue riding. My wife came across Graham Equestrian and we decided to give it a try. After such a long time off (moves take a while you know) we opted for private lessons to begin with. Within the first hour long lesson, my daughter did things that she never did in her previous lessons. She had to give the horse a quick brush before and after riding and also had to tack and then untack the horse. During the lesson, my daughter had to almost completely control the horse herself with shouted instructions here and there. Occasionally, if things went really awry, the trainer would come intervene. After a half dozen or so private lessons we began doing group lessons. This gave my daughter experience controlling the horse with other riders and horses around. The instructor my daughter typically has really understands how to connect with her and meet her where she is. I can't say enough about how awesome taking lessons at Graham Equestrian has been. They have allowed my daughter to become a much more independent rider and her instructors have pushed her to do things that she had never done before. Would recommend!

The cost was not bad for the whole family, and kids under 2 are free. There were several various vendors, ice cream truck, taco food truck, and grilled food for sale. Parking was good and easy. My god-daughter enjoyed the pony ride. We definitely enjoyed the entire day here. My god-son fed and petted a few animals.

Plenty of beautiful horses, a petting area, a tree house & a park. We reserved time for the pony ride and petting zoo but it felt like we were rushed through our experience. The women who helped us immediately seemed frustrated because they overbooked 2 large parties along with our reservation, her vibe didn't feel welcoming because of their lack of organization. My kids did the pony ride literally 2 rounds (they wanted to keep going) then they had about 10 minutes in the petting zoo. That costs me around $60 & they do not take credit cards.

As a mom, I'm always looking for activities that are engaging, hands-on, and actually worth leaving the house for, and this was one of those places. They offer family-centered activities on Fridays, and this past Friday we did the pig cookie-making class with storytime. It was such a cute idea and very toddler/kid friendly. After the class, they took us to feed the pigs and taught the kids about them, which made it feel both fun and educational. After class, you can choose either a pony ride or a farm animal tour, which I thought was a nice touch. The space has lots of animals and plenty of opportunities for petting and interacting, which my child really enjoyed. And for kids who may not be as interested in the animals, there's also a large play area/park so there's still plenty for them to do. I also really appreciated that there were multiple hand-washing stations throughout the farm, which makes a big difference when you're out with little ones. My main downsides were the bathrooms and food options. I really wish they had traditional bathrooms instead of porta-potties, because that can be especially tricky when you're managing a potty-training toddler. I also wish the concession area had better snack and food options. Overall though, this was a really fun, family-friendly outing and we had a great time.

Our mission is to provide the children with a fun filled weekend solely focused on them, since so much of the attention in their homes are given to their brother or sister battling this terrible disease. The campground at Puh,Tok is beautiful. Everything you would need is there, from scenery, to swimming, last year we had a rock climbing exhibition, to archery, and plenty of things that I'm sure I'm forgetting. The cabins are cool too. I'm a city guy so it's incredibly difficult for me falling asleep in cabins with thin mattresses and bugs, but me being able to do it, then come back a year later and do it again speaks to the quality of the entire experience. Ultimately, I will be doing this as long as I am physically able, and I hope that Camp Puh'Tok is our chosen destination.
