After a bit of a rocky start with a couple of different contractor crews, Jaime Romero took over as Project Manager and brought up a crew of hardworking young men. Through his leadership and consistent hands-on guidance of the job, he brought the project together and finished it in the same timeframe I was originally expecting it to finish. Jaime was very professional and personable, and his crew could not have been more courteous and hard-working. We love our new deck and can't recommend Klaus Roofing enough!

Pros: ========================== -Everyone I met at Kaminski was friendly and professional. -They did the work I contracted with them to do in a fairly short period of time. -When the guys came to do the job they did quality work, in a very professional manner. -When they left, I even considered contacting them to replace the old galvanized pipe in my house sometime over the next year. I actually mentioned it to their carpenter before he left. That outcome seems unlikely now for the reasons that follow. -Once I posted my review I got a call asking how I could be more satisfied. I realize I am not their only client, and don't consider my job to be any more important than anyone else's. This said, I appreciate the effort. -I did get a refund for them for... something. Not sure what it was for. (See my last "Con" item. Cons: ========================== -We were told that they would charge half the bid in deposit, then they charged the whole thing. In fairness they reversed this charge. -My only sincere complaint is the opacity of their billing. Don't get me wrong. they gave me a VERY detailed estimate and - as I mentioned in the first part of my review - they sent me a partial refund of the initial charge. Gosh this is going to sound like I am complaining just to complain, but hear me out. The real issue is I have not yet received a detailed explanation of exactly what I was charged for. When I spoke to the company I was told that prep work went longer than expected, and was told I would get a detailed invoice. Look, I am not going to quibble over the price. I am not looking for a refund I am not due. The fact is I signed the contract, but I want to know where the money went. That is all. They did great work, and I now more than trust them. Conclusion: ==================== First impressions matter fair or not. The final assessment is, though I would work with them again, I just want to a receipt. Their bids are detailed enough that this should be doable.

They built two patio covers in our yard, and I love to prance around under both of them every chance I get. It's like having my very own royal pup palace! The Landerking crew was so exciting to watch - I sat and supervised (with lots of tail wagging) as they worked, and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. Now I have the perfect place for strutting, relaxing, and keeping cool on hot days. I can strut my stuff proudly in the shade, then flop down for a nap without worrying about the sun. The craftsmanship is so impressive that even a dog can tell it's amazing - every beam and post is sturdy and beautiful (and trust me, I sniffed them all!). My humans are super happy with our new patio covers, which makes me happy too (because that means more belly rubs and treats for me - yay!). My tail hasn't stopped wagging since the project was finished. All in all, this is one tail-wagging, pawsitively awesome upgrade to our home.
