terrible . BE AWARE package picture are399$ i cant believe Broward School force us to buy senior pictures with this company that steel our money with confusing things and asking for money deposit that finally they do not want to return. very upset read more

Prices are not just high, they are exorbitant. What a scam/monopoly. Like the other reviewer, I don't understand how Broward School Board allows this (unless payola is involved of course). So $30 just to take the photo and when you arrive "oh, for another $20 you can walk out with the proofs, otherwise you need to come back in person to select photos". Really? We're busy parents so we're going to burn 1-2 hours going back? Geez, which one do you think most people do? So there's $50 just for "sitting" fee. Not great but acceptable I suppose. The real rip-off starts when ordering on-line. First, not a particularly user-friendly website and no way to enlarge thumbnails to get a better view. Then you must select at least one package ($90 cheapest) before a la carte selection begins. What do parents who don't have $400-$500 do for HS grad picture? Last complaint is the Sunrise location had no gel, hairspray, disposable comb/hair brush etc. for touch-ups. That may not be an issue for female gender but was for father and son who don't carry around handbags. The only positive was the photographer was friendly, fast and efficient and no wait time when going on a Saturday at 9 am to beat the crowd. read more

The staff at Fox-Mar could not have been more helpful and cordial. My photographer, Kayla, was extremely meticulous and kind when taking my photos and it is evident that she is truly passionate about photography. Thanks to her, my experience was very memorable and enjoyable. read more

This company has a monopoly in our school, so we're stuck with it. Over last 10 years all 3 of my kids went to the same school and all those years that company took their pictures. Out of almost 30 times over those years, they took pictures of my kids, I could not choose one. Most of the group pictures are very grainy, out-of-white balance or faces look so unnatural (color, over-exposure and composure). It appears to me they rush kids during the session. Speed is their priority, not quality. I had multiple professional family and individual sessions both in studios and out (with different companies and photographers) and I saw how much effort they invest in each quality shot. When I reviewed pictures from Fox-Mar I can tell that they really rushed during those picture-taking sessions. I also had bad experience during my encounter with their customer service department. I had to prepay for the class group picture but when I received it, I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the shot and the print itself. Half of the class was not even looking to the camera, not smiling or had eyes closed. My child's face was very pixelated and looking very unnatural. When I contacted Fox-Mar customer service they agreed to reprint and send me another picture, which, according to the representative, I supposed to receive following week. It took almost a month to receive it. It was exactly the same picture I already had. I sent them a reply email and was informed to send both pictures back for a refund, which I did. Over a month past after that again. No emails, no phone calls, no refund. All emails I sent ware unanswered. On the last email I finally received a reply and was directed to call customer service again. During the phone call, representative found all my emails and promised to send a refund check. The company needs to really pay more attention to their customer service department and spend more time with kids during the photo sessions. I would not mind paying money they charge for pictures if the quality of those pictures was good, but to pay for slappy pictures... sorry, not me. I think that family owned business would be able to handle those issues more efficiently, but it seems to me that they outgrew themselves with the number of orders and customers. There is no feeling of those issues being handled efficiently for the family-owned business. read more

I am not even sure how this place gets any good reviews. The experience with them from start to end felt like "we are out to get you and we will do anything we can to achieve our goal". I paid $ 50 something dollar for my daughter to take her yearbook pictures which included a $ 25 deposit. I told them that I did not want to pay the deposit because it's not likely that I will buy any pictures since their prices are exorbitant. I am a photographer myself and my daughter has a million great pictures, I just did not have another choice to bring her here so she can make it to the yearbook. The photographer was great and he took nice pictures, but as stated there was no reason for me to buy pictures because I've taken tons of great pictures my daughter. Now that I call back they tell me that the deposit is none refundable after 30 days. The lady proceeded in telling me that I should look at it like going to a store that have their rules. That they also have non refundable clauses. I told her that I did NOT buy anything from them and I was forced to put a deposit down if not my daughter would not be in the yearbook. I am shocked that Broward County schools even associates themselves with such a shady company. The prices that this company charges is so incredibly expensive that I feel bad for the parents that get sucked into buying these pictures. It's deceptive and now I literally just gifted these people $ 25.00. How is this even legal? I will be writing to the BBB to get information. Proceed at your own risk. read more

I have say that I have never had such a wonderful experience as I did at this studio. Not only was the staff very pleasant and helpful to deal with but never felt ANY pressure at all. The one that stood out the most was Sachi. I must say she is an asset to the company. Her energy, smile and love for what she does absolutely shows. Fox Mar is lucky to have an employee like her. In person or over the phone Sachi has gone above and beyond to be helpful and in no point ever made me feel as if I was a bother. Congratulations on this employee read more

I took my senior pictures a few weeks ago and I just went back today to get a look at the pictures and to see how they came out and I loved it ! Sachi helped us by giving us all the information we needed! She was super sweet, super humble and super kind !! Thank you so much for the help Sachi we really appreciate it :) sincerely, Jessica and Sandra Acosta read more

Just picked up my daughter's senior pictures!! They are absolutely beautiful! I would like to express my gratitude to Sachi!!! Excellent customer service! A huge thank you!! Credit is given when credit is due read more

The photographers are great but it is very frustrating to get black and white copies of your child's senior pictures as previews. They make you pay to preview them the right way online which is going to cause them to lose business. JP Portraits sent color pictures and a package that you could choose and send back. This company wants you to waste more time by coming in and ordering them. I can't figure out why they won't let everyone access their pictures on line for FREE since relatives in other areas could order too. I wish my school did not choose them because it is a big frustrating hassle. read more

My experience with Foxmar has been absolutely horrible. It was four of my friends, including myself, that wanted to have a friend session, and we understand it was complicated but they made it so much more difficult and confusing for us when they're the ones that have to have all of this in order, not us. They made it so frustrating for me when I was being switched from room to room between my photos and the friend session to the point were I got annoyed, and if it wasn't for my wonderful photographer Andrew who made the experience all that much bearable, I would've walked out and left. In the middle of my session there was also a problem with the SD card readers (meaning some photos got corrupted) but thank God it wasn't my photos, I just feel bad for whoever's it was. At one point someone told my photographer to stop taking pictures of me? Like what? Telling my photographer to stop taking pictures of me THAT I PAID FOR? What? Besides the fact that I was there for over 4.5 excruciating hours.. which is NOT supposed to happen.. Completely baffled over this experience because the staff was nothing but rude to me and my friends who were just doing what we were told. Horrible customer service and everyone had attitude when I was just trying to figure out what was going on and get a better understanding of the situation. Glad it's over, but my pictures came out fantastic. If you get the platinum session make sure they take 30 something photos of you or else that's how they trick you and take your money because the double is 24 photos, so if they don't take more than 24 but less than 30 and you paid for the platinum, you should've just gone with the double... read more

Unbelievable!!! My daughter took her pic July 16th i paid for the previews to come in the mail they keep saying 7 to 10 days. I called and found out they didn't send it out til the 19th so i wait... Today is the 3rd of Aug still no pics. Call again and she says well. 7 to 10 days do the math from the 19th. So ask me my address 5 times and its still the same as the first time. So now they give me a user and pw to go online and that doesn't work now im annoyed cus its obvious that these ppl are incompetent as hell! So i call back and now have to wait for them to reset something that didnt work in the beginning who do they have working there?? I want my daughter pic bcus if i don't pic her yearbook pic by a certain time someone else does and it may not be the one i like and i damn sure want a refund or credit dor the previews i paid to get in the mail. This is unacceptable i live less than 10 mils from this office and still haven't received pic previews. I have sent stuff off in the mail to Orlando on a Mon and they received it by wed wtf! Ugh im done read more

My daughter had her senior pictures taken in the Broward location. The photographer was great and all the people that worked there were terrific. HOWEVER, when I tried to order my prints online, the website is totally user unfriendly and I was unable to do so. I have called and called and called and emailed with no response. I called during regular business hours and received the message tht I was calling after hours. I called and was placed on hold for forever in Miami and in Broward I was stuck in the answering system and hung up on. I am definitely advising Fort Lauderdale High School not to use them in the future. There customer service is horrible! read more

This business is awful. If you show up at an after school time, you will NOT be waiting 20 minutes like the girl says... I was there for 3 hours waiting to take my senior photos. The photographers prioritize the platinum session people, and will make every other person wait until their trashy pictures are taken. I hated my experience and felt completely rushed and was highly irritated by the employees. AWFUL!!! read more

absolutely horrible wish I had never gone there we paid over $100 for the platinum session plus what they make you pay to get a preview of the pictures after the appointment the girls working there NEVER explained that the deposit+the money for the package+the extra I paid to get to see them right after would get me nothing these people are scammers and they're doing it on purpose to take as much of your money DURING A PANDEMIC all they told me was that I would get a $10 coupon towards my order so tell me why when I go on the link the sent me to get my pictures all I get is a bunch of cheap-looking photos that I can take on an iPhone and I have to pay $400 to get 12 poses... I paid for the most expensive session because it offered 30 poses and its not even an option when trying to purchase a photo package I am extremely disappointed and disgusted by this company and its workers that do not care to explain such important details if I had been told all that money would have been worth nothing I would have left right there instead of wasting my money on pictures that cost as much as rent, unfortunately, schools have some sort of deal with this company and practically force you to go there for pictures horrible experience completely taking advantage of innocent kids and parents I have never left a bad review for any other place but I wish I could give it 0 stars would recommend people to stay as far away from this shady company as possible read more

This place is over priced. For the kind of money that they charge for their packages, the photographer should do better than a mediocre job! The fact that the pictures are available for viewing online (for an additional price of course) for only a few days is ridiculous. At an additional cost, you can get a booklet with the proofs but if you don't order within 72 hrs from the time of the photo shoot, then you are required to go back to the studio in person to order your pictures and RETURN the book that YOU PAID FOR!!!!!!!! This studio is expensive, their policy procedures are not convenient and do not accommodate the customer's needs. Unfortunately, my son's school contracted with these people and I just lost out on my $30 deposit b/c I won't be able to meet THEIR TIME FRAME and simply can't afford a package at this time!!! read more

Service at its best!!! I recently had my daughter's senior photos taken at the Fox Mar studio in Kendall. I purchased the cd package with all of the photos from her shoot. It was expensive, but that was to be expected. The literature says that all photos are "print ready" but that was not the case when I received my cd. The pictures were beautiful but in some of them there were boarders and props showing, smdges on the floor, etc. I called the studio and was told that with the cd, the pictures come "as is". I sent an email and the following day, I received a call from Mr. Ira Fox himself to apologize for the misunderstanding. He verified that the photos should have been print ready and he would have a new cd made for me. We also chatted for a while about my purchase, the online buying experience and other things. He really cares what the customer thinks!!! The next day my cd was ready. I don't mind mistakes and misunderstandings as long as the company does right by me and Fox Mar certainly did! I found the staff there to be extremely friendly and professional. The photographer who took my daughter's photos was very funny and entertaining, making the experience a lot of fun and memorable one. read more
