We needed our floors replaced in our townhouse and didn't know who to choose. We had wall-to-wall carpet in most of the house except tile in the foyer and kitchen and bathrooms and linoleum in the laundry/utility room. After looking around at flooring places in our area (Ocean Township) we checked out Fox Floors and boy are we glad we did! I love wall-to-wall carpet (every place I've ever lived had it) but my wife wanted hard flooring. Marshall is THE MAN! He is such a super salesman! So laid back (so caring and not pushy in the slightest) and explained everything so nicely to us and let us take home samples because it's really hard to imagine what each thing is going to look like just by looking at it at the store. He said that most people get hard flooring nowadays so we decided on getting new wall-to-wall carpeting upstairs for the bedrooms, hallway and stairway (to satisfy me) and we should get hard flooring to replace the carpet and tile downstairs in the living room, dining room, foyer and hallway (to satisfy my wife). Marshall was so great with our schedule of doing it. The guys that did it were great! So fast and precise! And it wasn't easy. The ground floor (we're on a slab, no basement) had to be leveled out because the tiled part (foyer and kitchen) was higher than the carpeted part. Everything came out fantastic! The hard flooring looks like wood and the carpeted stairway and upstairs in so super cushiony! We love it! Quality products and quality workmanship! We couldn't be happier! Had a floor replaced in my kitchen after a flood. Bob was the sales man. Very charming, BUT he was excellent with his excuses. I had many staples coming through my Armstrong vinyl flooring right after installation and the molding around my island was pieced together. He did send repair men. Afer that, more staples coming through tile. sent a repair man. He was supposed to call back because floor transition cracked. Promised he would order another one. After this call, more staples coming up through vinyl and we can't find the matching transition. Never got back to us. No more did he respond to our phone calls. This was a costly floor. I am so unhappy with their work and I advise everyone to beware. read more

We just had Fox Floors install a stair runner for us today. Everything from purchasing the carpet to picking out the binding and giving us samples to the installations was seamless. They went above and beyond to help me with the decision and choices and explained the process in detail. The installation was quick but very thorough. They even left a finished and bound piece of carpet we could use at the base of the stairs as a rug. We felt very safe and the installers were wearing masks and were social distancing. We could not be more happy with how everything turned out. We love shopping local and supporting family businesses so this was a win win. Very affordable too! read more

This is a review for FOX FLOORS OCEAN, NJ FOR MY BRADLEY BEACH HOME!. We are not talking about a laminate job, we are talking about $8,000 dollars for imported, oiled, engineered hardwood floors for a condo. I went here because my aunt went here for laminate...but I later regregered it...See my photos...they let some awful salesman and his crew come into my home and destroy my walls and my couch...no way for me to fix it. There is floorboard glue on everything. On top of it when doing my floors they ruined the ceiling of the person below me and CHARGED ME!!! I still have floorboard glue on my couch, my closet walls, my living wall wall, my kitchen wall and I have a wall with unfinished molding (very attractive). I asked FOX FLOORS to fix it but they thought giving me a $100 cleaning and sealing kit would do it. I need this fixed.!!!!!! I have stains everywhere, my couch is ruined... and so are some of my walls...and my floors need to be sealed, because my imported floors are not right for my beach environment. If Fox Floors you would like to come fix my couch and paint my walls I will reconsider this review, but you never responded to my complaints. read more

Really love that this family owned business treats you like family. I called to ask about their showroom hours and they informed me that I could come in any time 10-6, Monday-Saturday and advised that the staff will be wearing masks during our visit since we are in a pandemic. They also offered a private appointment if I wasn't comfortable coming into the store while other customers were there. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by the son of the owner, Marshall. He walked me through the showroom, social distancing, and was very knowledgeable about all the inventory in the store. The entire experience was pleasant and seamless. i didn't have the normal carpet installation. Since i had a flood in my apartment the wood floor under my carpet was warped. so i needed to have someone rip the old carpet up one day,so my apartment complex could fix the wood floor. After the floor was fixed have the carpet people install the new carpet on a different day a week later. Fox Floors rose to the occasion, they moved out my furniture, ripped up the old carpet. Came back a week later and installed my my beautiful brand new carpet, and moved my furniture back in place. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to work with Sandy, she did everything she said she would do, very professional. I would like to thank Fox Floors for the way they handled my installation and would recommend them very highly. read more
