Went to check this place out during our afternoon of shopping. Yelp and google said it was open but when we arrived at 11 it was closed. Went back by around 4 and it was still closed. We went to urban outfitters instead. Bummer because it looked like a cool spot. read more

This is one of the cutest vintage shops that I have ever been too. All of the pieces are of good quality and the store is organized. I love thrifting and I can smell a good store from a mile away! If you are looking for unique pieces and don't mind spending a little more money than at your average thrift store give them a try. read more

Overpriced and the selection of items were a little too funky for the styles I prefer. UPDATED 12/23/23: Deducted a star for the snarky and ludicrous comment posted by owner Katty, who apparently has delusions of grandeur and can't handle hearing anything but praise (see 1 star review and her comment to that below). In her (utopian) world she believes people should be "researching places before you go, so you know the basic aesthetic, price points, etc. of clothing stores (or any business).... before visiting." Really?? As if it's any of your business what I do, Katty, your comment is ridiculous. Who has time for that? Maybe you should be an appointment only store so you can judge each patron individually before letting them peruse your ugly, overpriced crap? I was trying to be nice and find something positive to say about your tasteless selection of gaudy THRIFT STORE clothes you are trying to flip at outrageous prices just because they are "vintage". So maybe people should read up about your petty and vindictive attitude so they can decide whether or not to deal with such a rotten person such as your self......BEFORE VISITING! read more

This store is exactly the reason that I only shop local or second-hand. The store owner goes above and beyond on every. single. purchase. I have purchased items, including everything from intimates to work blazers to gowns for a black-tie wedding. The quality is always top-tier and extremely fairly priced. Even when an error was made and my order was shipped to an old address whose occupants then lied about receiving the package when we had photo evidence of it on their front porch, the owner tried to contact the landlord, refund as much as they could, AND help me find a replacement piece. I cannot say enough great things about this store AND the owner. SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE AND NOT AT ANTHROPOLOGIE. read more

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. I'm already finding reasons to come back to Memphis so I can visit this shop again. The owner Katie was so welcoming and sweet to answer all of my questions and I found several cute pieces that I feel I will probably own forever now! A must see in Memphis! read more

This is a really fantastic little boutique vintage store with a great selection of designer clothes for very manageable prices. The sales associate who assisted me was very helpful and kind, and it was a chill, calm vibe in the store. The doggie sales associate was also helpful and sniffed my hand in approval of my picks. This is definitely a must-visit store for anyone who loves high quality vintage clothing and accessories, it's like digging through a pirates treasure chest! read more

I came in to buy a bag I saw on Instagram a few months ago. I really wanted to get it! When I walked in I wasn't greeted by anyone. The person sitting at the counter who I know is the owner didn't even look up. I asked about a bag and she told it wasn't for sale. I told her I watched a story on Instagram about how the bag was for sale and to make an offer. She then told me she changed her mind and it's not my fault "I didn't listen." She didn't even offer an alternative. She shares way too much on her Instagram and clearly can't keep her business up and running because she closing. I hope someone is able to enjoy the bag. I don't know how this place has stayed in business in the time frame it did. read more

Wonderful store. Katie was so sweet and helpful. Store is beautiful as are all of the clothes! Love the bathing suit I got!

Fox and Cat Vintage is my favorite vintage boutique bar none! The owner Katie goes above and beyond to make both her shop and your experience special! Katie does an absolutely amazing job finding the most gorgeous pieces in all styles and price points! She meticulously dates and tags each item making each find special and exciting! Her store is easy and fun to shop and she always finds the perfect piece that my daughter and I are searching for; plus we always leave with other beautiful pieces we couldn't leave behind! Memphis is lucky to have this gem!! read more

Probably the most expertly curated vintage shop I've been in, you don't have to dig through racks here, everything they have is great! And sized in modern sizing which is also helpful. Really the selection is unbelievable-kind of mimics a great boutique-really high quality cool affordable off the racks, through designer and one of a kinds...And then I went back in the next day and she had tons of new merchandise out! She was bringing out dresses to show me from the back, this girls collection is insane!!! Awesome, friendly, helpful staff plus there's a dog. I'm in love with this place read more

Great vintage clothes in excellent condition and very helpful staff! Definitely recommend.

This store is amazing! The owner Katie is incredibly sweet and has an incredible curatorial eye and knowledge. My friends and i came to Memphis from New Orleans to evacuate Hurricane Ida, and it means the world to us to encounter folks who are kind and caring. Incredible service and selection. i've worked in vintage clothing as well as costuming for film/tv for many years and i can definitively say this is one of the best vintage stores in the south! read more

Super cute store! Owner provided very helpful service and there was a great selection for all sorts of styles. A cute dog named Sally was in the store to welcome me too. Will definitely be going back! read more

I have been a vintage collector for years. Shopped all around the country and live in Austin where we have some amazing vintage shops. But Katie's shop is absolutely unparalleled. Whatever era or vibe you're into - she will blow your mind with what she's carrying. Not to mention she's always incredibly helpful and once she knows you and your body SUPER helpful and will be like 'this would work for you or this would need tailoring' if shopping online only. But there is nothing like walking into her magical curation of fashion dreams in person if you can. Adult dress up dreams come true read more

Beautifully curated clothing. I purchased a gorgeous blue green tweed overcoat (circa 1960's) for a very reasonable price. And they arranged to ship it to CA. read more

What an awesome store. We love to shop vintage whenever we travel and this shop is a nicely curated selection of clothes and accessories. My son found a great jacket. I got a metal zipper 1960's sateen shift. The owner is lovely- no pressure. Thank you!' read more

Awesome store! I was able to find a beautiful 1960s dress and pill box hat. Can't wait to wear them! The young lady who helped me was super nice. read more

Shopping at Fox+Cat was honestly the best customer service I've ever experienced. When I talked with store owner Katie about a dress I liked being SLIGHTLY too tight on the waist, Katie offered to alter it free of charge and dropped the dress off for me on a day that the store wasn't typically open. Also a huge highlight was Katie's dog, Sally, who was absolutely perfect. Fox+Cat is an impeccably curated store, with affordable prices and beautiful pieces and it was an absolute pleasure to shop there. read more

I live in NYC but frequent Memphis for work. I yelped this place and found it to have a great selection of statement pieces, everyday clothes, resort wear, and occasion wear. Really something for everything. The staff we nice and friendly and the owner even took me to the back to show me some things she'd put up for the winter. Their belt collection is to die for. They have incredible earrings as well and I wouldn't skip the scarves. Reminds me of some of the shops in Manhattan. Great curated pieces! read more

The owner definitely knows her vintage clothing and merchandises it well. We stopped in here as we were walking to dinner down the street. Loved looking at her collection even though everything was well out of our price range. read more

Great store for authentic vintage clothing!! The owner Katie is so sweet and knowledgeable. I can't wait to return when I visit Memphis again. read more

I am an avid vintage shopper for 40 years now, and I have to honestly say that this place is my consistent favorite. I live and Brooklyn and I like it better than any shop in BK...the selection, fair prices, and service place it above and beyond. Their taste is superior to shops from Japan to Helsinki in my opinion. I never leave without something wonderful! Every visit to Memphis involves a stop here! read more

Best personal service you will find in Memphis and beyond. Katie (owner) is an amazing stylist and has the coolest pieces - not all are for everyone even though all are so much fun to look through - but she will help you find what works for you and your figure/personality - I am short/ heavier than I've been in my life & she ALWAYS find pieces that are cool, fit me & make me feel good. And as a non-fashionista she puts it all together for me and has great deals and "bonus" items. So happy I walked in on a whim one afternoon - it's now my favorite place to shop (and where I go when I need anything that needs fashion guidance) - you must go!!! read more

This is such a great store! The owner Kitie really knows her stuff. She takes the time out to research each piece.

Found this local gem passing through mid town. It's got a great range of decade-wear, and really good prices! Owner willing to work with you on prices and super helpful. Will come back in the future and highly recommend! Nice addition to midtown area. read more

I am so excited about this new vintage store in Memphis. There is a large selection of Vintage clothes including some high end items that you normally can't find in Memphis. The store is very neat, organized and stylish which makes it a pleasure to shop. The owner was very friendly and helpful and made shopping comfortable. Looking forward to my next shopping excursion and treasure hunt. The shop also carries vintage pursues, hats, jewelry, shoes etc. Even if your not a Vintage shopper, do yourself a favor and take a look. Some items are timeless and some are just fun to revisit, like stepping back in time. read more

SO impressed. Beautiful collection of treasures. Great prices. My order arrived with handwritten note in the prettiest packaging; the owner clearly thinks of every little detail. Such a pleasure to shop here. Highly recommend! I live in Dallas, but follow on Instagram and call in with orders. Memphians are very lucky to have a shop like this. I've been meaning to pop in for some time, but I have not done so until today. Katie's collection of vintage items is well-curated, appropriately priced, and merchandised fantastically. I went in there for the first time today to look around. I noticed on the window it had a piece of paper that said, "Our bathroom is for CUSTOMERS only." I ask if they have a bathroom I can use. She told me to hold on and goes to the back and says something to someone. She comes back and tells me the bathroom is for customers only. Uhhh what? Do you even know what a customer is?? I'm standing in your store and I'm not an employee so what am I?! I was just really confused. Like why in the world would you say that? I liked the clothes but that made me never want to come back. read more
