Over the last 6 weeks, I have called and left messages, most of which were ignored. When I finally talked to the salesman after 3 1/2 weeks, he said it would be in the next week and he'd call. When I hadn't heard from him a week after that date, he said he'd check on it and get "right back" to me. Again nothing and again he didn't return my message the next day. Luckily, I hadn't paid anything and have since found a screen online. I don't know if this is now typical of YB&D customer service. Maybe they should expand what is covered by in-store people because (repeating myself), corporate customer service is weak (Understaffed? No good tools? Untrained?). I had to get a finish carpenter to fix things several items broken by LL during the install e.g., inside and outside doors. Discounting the above issues, the flooring, once repaired and fully installed, is nice. Based on my painful(!) weeks long experience trying to get satisfaction before the installation was even complete, I have limited confidence in the "lifetime guarantee" that was promised. IF YOU LIKE TO AVOID HUGE HEADACHES................ If you want to use LL for your flooring, don't choose light-colored molding. The molding materials have quality issues where the light-colored molding will not have a consistent color. This will extend your install as no matter how many times they order the material, it won't match. The installers can't magically pull the correct materials out of thin air.

Oh, and their employees? Well for some reason, they're exempt and can be seen walking around the store mask-less. Menards is basically the Walmart of home improvement - cheap, chinese knockoff and imitation products sold under a bunch of fake company names which all really belong to Menards. Do your neighbor a favor and shop at your local lumberyard or your local hardware store instead and support your community instead price-gouging fascists.
