To make matters worse, the contractor was not paid because management claimed the repair was unauthorized, despite the tenant stating it had been approved. Management acknowledged the situation was "unfortunate" but stated it was not their responsibility and did not view the delay as a problem. As a result of the nonpayment, the contractor returned and removed pipes and hardware, leaving the shower unusable again. This situation could have been avoided with effective communication, which this company consistently fails to provide. I recommend finding another property management company.

I have been reaching out Since Oct, 1st for repairs still no one has come to fix my issue even after promising me they would be there. Asked for date and time to be free just to not show up. I have kids that's living in my house this issue affects all of us, but they do NOT care. I was scolded about paying my rent on the 5th as that was my rent date for the last 4 years this company comes and says my lease says its due the 3rd so I have to go by the 3rd because that's what my lease says. Anything after the 5th is considered late. lol funny cause actually my lease says anything after the 7th day is late. But they have been charging me late fees after the 5th date. This is the WORST Experience I ever had with any living situation and now it's time for me to move. Located in Saginaw MI

I bought my first rental property and did not know what to do. Katey helped me through the whole process and now that the house is up and running as an Airbnb she's been so attentive to every guest that has had a question. Sometimes I wonder when she sleeps. Every typical home or guest issue that has come up has been handled swiftly. I don't have to stress at all. I couldn't recommend them more.

My fiancée and I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience with Avenue Group Real Estate…read morehas been so consistently disappointing that we feel obligated to share it. Based entirely on our personal experience, we strongly recommend that others think twice before doing business with this company. Throughout our experience, we repeatedly felt that our concerns were not taken seriously and that we were not treated with the fairness, professionalism, transparency, or respect that customers should reasonably expect. On multiple occasions, we felt that the company prioritized its own interests rather than finding reasonable solutions for its customers. One of our biggest concerns was the way unexpected charges and fees were handled. We felt that charges were not always made sufficiently clear upfront and that additional costs could seemingly appear after the fact. From our perspective, it often felt like we had to constantly watch for sneaky or unexpected charges and question what exactly we were being billed for. That experience left us feeling taken advantage of and extremely distrustful of the company. In one particularly frustrating situation, we were charged more than $200 for a plumber to investigate an unpleasant smell in our water that we believed could have been caused by a dead animal. The plumber ultimately did not find anything. Being left with a significant bill despite the issue not being resolved was incredibly frustrating and reinforced our concerns about how maintenance calls and associated charges are handled. We gave Avenue Group Real Estate numerous opportunities to address our concerns appropriately. We were patient, communicated our issues, and gave them the benefit of the doubt more than once. Unfortunately, our experience continued to be negative. At this point, we genuinely regret choosing to do business with Avenue Group Real Estate. Our experience left us feeling as though we constantly had to protect ourselves from unexpected charges and carefully scrutinize everything we were being billed for. Whether intentional or not, that is an unacceptable way for a customer to feel when dealing with a professional property management company. We strongly encourage anyone considering this company to do extensive research, read both positive and negative reviews, ask detailed questions about every possible fee, get things in writing, and carefully review your lease and invoices before agreeing to anything. We are sharing this review because we wish we had been more cautious ourselves. Our experience was overwhelmingly negative, and we would never choose this company again. Based on what we personally experienced, we would recommend doing business elsewhere. As for AG Management, we wouldn't touch them with a ten-foot pole. If you do decide to work with them, keep a close eye on your charges, ask questions about anything that doesn't look right, and make sure you understand exactly what you're being billed for. This review reflects our personal experience and opinions based on our dealings with the company, and we hope it helps others make a more informed decision.

Over the years I have heard a lot about Namir and his way of teaching Real Estate and I wish I…read morewould have taken my classes through him. It was suggested to me that I take my class through another provider online. While that started out all right, by the time I was almost done with the class I realized that maybe it was not the best idea. It took me a long time to get through the class. There were no study materials or books. Had I taken Namir's class as later suggest by my aunt who knows him, I would have had the class over and done with and my license fairly quickly. Lesson learned. So what I DID do was ordered the digital CD set of the class so that I would have study materials to use before I took my state test. So that is what this review is over. I purchased those materials right off the Michigan Institute of Real Estate website and was given immediate download. There was one CD where the numbers were off from what the site was saying. I contacted the help department and it was immediately fixed. Have to tell you, these course materials are amazing and the help was top notch. For that, they get all 5 stars.

I found out just…read morepast lunch on day 1 that there is no accreditation or certification to test to be be licensed with the state afterwards like most other certifications offered. Full disclosure I went there for my builders license and and had a great experience. I approached the staff as soon as I found out that there is no accreditatio and was told the owner is out of country. I lost $545 and wasted a days time. The teacher even said you are all technically home inspectors already. I'm a licensed builder. There is no point of the class and they said they will let me know about the returning of my funds. I told them I feel this is a huge scam and there is no certification offered. They responded with no but there is a "certificate". To which there is no database where a homeowner could verfit through the state. I am very unhappy with this experienc! $545 is not a little sum of money but more importantly I lost a days time.

I contacted Skyward and worked with Joe Jacobs. Joe took our wants and needs into consideration and immediately started compiling personalized lists of houses that he would email me a few times a week. The moment a new house came on the market that looked like it would fit us he would let me know. Joe was also very accommodating with our schedules, and would take me around to look at all the houses and from there we would narrow down a list to show my husband ( He works about 60 hours a week so not a lot of spare time to house hunt!) He even helped us mediate over houses ( I had to have a dining room and a nice yard, husband had to have big garage or basement.) Joe helped us to find the house that was perfect for our growing family and once we found it he sat down and helped us understand and assemble all the paperwork that we needed. I felt like I received a personalized experience and one that made the intricacies of buying a house feel simple and manageable. The office was very clean and organized, and every single person I dealt with was very pleasurable and helpful to two first timers!
