I can't believe it's taken me this long to find a ride to this brewery! But boy am I glad I did. I had tasted a lot of their beers at different bars and beer festivals but somehow, their tasting room still managed to blow me away. It was very busy and it would have been nice to have a few extra high tables or tables you can gather groups around but we managed to snag some chairs. It is otherwise a very cool space with some antique-y and old school decor - I had the same speakers growing up and some of those records! Their design and merch quality is outstanding- I bought the camping mug which I am excited to bring on hiking trips, which means I need to bring along some good beer! We also bought one of their well designed tees. There wasn't a single beer that I didn't enjoy but the ones that really stood out for me were the Brett IPA with its citrusy hops - probably my favourite IPA in the lower mainland - their Berliner sour and their Saison. The pineapple saison was excellent too. So who wants to drive me back to this place? I promise I'll buy you a beer! read more

What an absolute delight in the Delta. It's a bit of a trek out, but so worth it. Four Winds has an amazing ambiance. A great interior that screams hipster brewery, and that works for me. The staff, super knowledgeable, and super into the product. To the beer, because, this is why one visits a brewery: Superb. Drink all the things. They present tasters on a clever little palette, using colored magnets so you can keep referencing the pours. This was something I hadn't seen before, and a really novel way of presenting that. I can't say I had anything I didn't like, with Juxtapose being far and wide the run away hit. Brettanomyces? IPA? Yes Please! I'll be back. Often. If I had one complaint: I couldn't take a growler of Juxtapose home with me. read more

Four Winds is our 'must-stop' when visiting breweries over the border. I can honestly say I've never had a bad beer here, amongst the myriad styles that they offer. The Nectarous dry-hopped sour is not always available, but is worth a trip if they have it. I'm enjoying one (immensely) today. My wife, who loves the darker beers, can't get enough of the Four Winds Oat Porter. And once you get to know Sean at the bar, he will remember your name every time you drop by. read more

Basically a five star considering that there's nothing else similar within 15 km. It's in the middle of nowhere but the beer is great. They have about 4 regular beers that are always available and about 7-8 experimental beers. I had 3 saisons and a tripel for my first flight of tasters. They had like 3 or 4 different IPA's as well. The pilsner was excellent. Only con is that it's too small and the staff are overwhelmed. Also, it closes relatively early at 7pm on most nights. With the traffic, basically the only time I could go would be on Saturdays. read more

Worth the effort to get here for a couple reasons. Most important, the beer is good. The Brett IPA was my favourite and worthy of a slow hand clap. Everything else I had ranged from good to really good so, yep, I think they make tasty beer. The service is good. The staff are all cool looking and help drive the feel of the place but, and this is what I really like, they were welcoming and friendly and I got the feeling they were happy to be there and not just doing it to say they work at a brewery. If I were to gripe about anything, it's the location. Industrial parks tend to lack a certain romance but then again, this is a manufacturer and hey, it's perfect if you need a pint after a getting a tradesman rate on some replacement parts. In short, it's good. Will return. read more

Where have you been all my life!! I wish I took more pictures. I was so intrigued and busy having a grand ol time I forgot to take pictures. Especially of the lunch taco menu( finishes at 330pm), after lunch till about 630pm I believe was enchiladas Taco menus also changes daily, yes thats right DAILY so you could eat lunch here everyday and never have to eat the same thing, which I mean wouldn't be bad at all cause again yummm lol I had three of the 4 flavors of tacos. They were so delicious and fancy I cant even remember the names and all the ingredients. My favorite was definitely the squash taco of some sort ( I am totally butchering this explanation so i will stop here) As for the beers, amazing prices for award winning flavors. I liked the sour weisse best and I'm not even a huge fan of beeer. But this is next level on tap. Bring your growler if you have to save from buying on cause you will definitely want to take some home. The staff!!!! So friendly, so funny, just so much awesome in one place!!! will definitely be back on my next trip to Van. BTW- They are doing some renovations this month and bought a food truck to keep those tacos coming. How amazing is that read more

I've been to a lot of breweries all across North America, and this is one of my favorites. The beer is really, really good. I love the Juxtapose and the Norwegian Wood. The staff is very kind. The decor is super modern and hip. Love the vinyl and turntable. Never ate here but the food looks amazing. Super sweet little spot. Wish it were in my neighborhood. Cheers! read more

I have wanted to try the tacos from Four Winds brewing ever since my coworkers mentioned it, so I finally did. Service was very friendly and very fast, but I found the tacos extremely salty. I guess they go well with beer and make you thirsty for more. I'm happy I've tried them, but most likely will not go back for more. read more

These guys easily have the best tasty taco menu of any craft brewery that I know, and the selection changes every day. The culinary creativity is really superb. I've been here several times and haven't had one bad taco yet. The same can be said for their beers. There is always something new on tap to try, and their mainstay beers are among the best rotation of any brewery big or small. Being an IPA fan, I really like the Vexillum, and their pilsner doesn't taste weak and watered down like most pilsners do. The tasting room is a bit small for the amount of beers they produce, and the service could be a bit faster and friendlier but still, all in all a job well done Four Winds. read more

Just got back from getting a couple growlers filled up, and I can't say enough good stuff about Four Winds. Easy to get to, super awesome staff that doesn't mind chatting a bit, and absolutely delicious beer. Hands down my fave BC craft beer. The tasting room is a great experience as well & shouldn't be missed. It's quite large and has all their best on tap, and a new taco menu has recently been introduced! As a vegetarian I was over the moon to discover not 1 but 3 veggie options! A roasted cauliflower, portobello (nicely chopped with a smoky flavour) & eggplant. I was seriously blown away folks. Couple this with a flight of their amazing beers, a community atmosphere and it's pretty much heaven. read more

We've been fans of Four Winds beer since we were introduced to them about 18 months ago. They have become our favourite craft brewery. We visited their tasting room a few months ago. The location isn't very convenient or attractive but the beers make up for it. Favourites of ours include the Padedra and Juxtapose. Since we visited their tasting room they have released a number of great new beers including our all-time favourite Vexillum, Nectarous is also great. The only beer of theirs we haven't been so keen on is Sovereign Super Saison, good but not great. read more
