We went for the 9inch Bolognese along with chilli cheese garlic bread which was just incredible. The bolognese was generously topped with flavoursome mince meat, mushrooms and onions. Value wise Pizzaworks is fantastic. £11 for a pizza, sides and garlic bread! The ordering process is great too! We ordered over the phone after looking at their menu online. It only took 15 minutes for everything to be ready to be collected. There was a real buzz about the restaurant when I went to collect, every table was occupied and there was a queue for collection. Mom was a bit wary about what kind of quality the pizza would be since we're from Chicago. I saw the pizza ovens and figured we'd be fine. We ordered the Garlic Cheese Dough and 12" Pizza (mushroom). I was worried it would be too much food for two of us, and I was right, hah! The Cheese Dough was way too cheesy for my liking, but my mom loved it. The Pizza was tasty: thin but not overly so, nice chew to the dough, nice tasting sauce, and fresh mushrooms. I can't compare it to the greatest little pizzeria in Belfast. It offers mainly pizza's but also does kebabs, burgers etc, the usual chip shop clobber! Price wise, I'd say it's quite reasonable and their pizza's are actually really quite nice. I'd much rather order one from here than I would from the local Chain store Pizzeria's in the local area. It appears to be a family run business from the way the staff were interacting, which is always good to see. I stood and watched the pizza chef roll out the dough and generously top my Vesuvio pizza ( Italian Sausage, Pepperoni and jalepenos). He them placed the 10 inch pizza in the authentic stone oven and hey presto, 30 minutes later I was devouring it. Price wise, takeaways don't come much cheaper. I purchased a 10 inch pizza, a huge portion of chips and some garlic dip and this came to £9 - easily enough to feed two people. The shop itself looks dodgy and has, for some reason, iron bars over the counter. But the pizza is very nice.
