I called to confirm the correct time and what they sent was incorrect. After I got off the phone I realized they had not given any instructions on if I was to end water and eating for my dog the night before being put under. I called the office back and they confirmed that the dog should not be given any food or water after midnight. When I arrived for my dogs appointment the next day I observed that staff arrived approximately 5 minutes before opening. Once I got to speak to the front desk staff I shared my concerns about the lack of communication regarding feeding and watering and the response from the girl at the front desk was "everyone knows that knows that " I replied that no, not everyone knows that and asked if the business had went through a change in ownership as it seems it was not being ran as well as it used to be. I then proceeded to check my dog in and was given a paper to sign certifying that all information about the treatment had been explained to me, yet nothing had been explained. When I mentioned that nothing had been explained, the girl asked it I wanted to speak to the vet and I replied , yes I would. I sat in the lobby for approximately 5 minutes and when the girl returned she advised the vet couldn't speak with me because he was in surgery. I advised her to cancel my appointment

She answered every question we had, told us information we hadn't been told before & genuinely ages about our situation. She took time to make sure we felt ok before leaving. I am glad we have found a new vet for our dogs. Everyone in her staff was friendly. Makes a huge difference when people care & you are in search of a new vet. Other customers in the waiting room had also commentated on how they loved seeing this vet, many were customers for years. They were so extremely helpful with the entire process and after helping me for over a year when i felt she was done fighting they helped me with her passing. They do the…read moreSaturday morning shot clinics for a very reasonable rate and I continued to go here until I moved to Lexington. When I called to get their records sent to my new clinic it was as easy as a short 3 minute phone call and the new clinics fax number and it was done! The staff is always so nice and easy to work with. They have their own parking lot that is right off the road in front of the clinic that is a little tight. They also have an outdoor small area for dogs to do their business, even though they are a gravel lot.

I'd give them negative stars if I could as my poor dog is still stick, I'm out $800 bucks, a tank of gas and two afternoons. Spent close to $800 on two visits as our dog has some type of infection in his lungs. (who is still sick) Despite those visits and the money spent the vet does not want to take a culture to get the right antibiotics for his infection. Then on top of all that they wrote an invalid prescription and we couldn't get the medication for our dog. They refused to fax the fixed prescription to the CVS, and insisted we go back to the vets office and pick up the new prescription then drive back to CVS to pick up the medication.
