I substituted S&S Ribs with S&S Chicken Balls - the Chicken was dry, overcooked and chewy. The predominant taste of the Hot & Sour Soup was Cayenne. All heat, no other flavour! I definitely will not be ordering from here again.

It could use a bit more char. Szechuan Fish Fillet in Peppercorn Chilli Soup (4/5) which had tender and perfectly poached fish fillets. We wish it was spicier but otherwise this dish was tasty and full of fragrant spices. Egg & Chive Pancakes (4/5) was packed with filling and the pancake had a really crispy texture on the outside but soft on the inside. It had glass noodles inside as well. It has a faint aromatic flavour that wasn't too overpowering. We poured some of the Szechuan peppercorn chilli soup inside too which tied in all the flavours together.

The Dim Sum items we ordered (3) were excellent, but the Spicy Beef dish was very mediocre. The beef was tough and dried out... With way too much cilantro... Honestly not very good, nor was the portion very large for the $23 price. I also ordered a steamed rice which was hard and frankly tasted like a packet of Uncle Ben's Minute Rice. Service was quite slow considering the place only had 3 tables including ours. Overall I would not come back... Price was very high, at $66 before tip, for what we got and really not very good. Egg Rolls: The filling was mostly cabbage and bean sprouts. I prefer egg rolls made with bean sprouts only, because cabbage turns mushy and watery and doesn't resemble a true egg roll. This version definitely missed the mark. Hot & Sour Soup: The soup was neither hot nor sour -- no heat, no tang, just bland. Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls: The batter was hard, and the chicken inside was rubbery and chewy. Exactly the opposite of what Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls should be. Overall, a very underwhelming meal. I won't be ordering from here again.

The restaurant itself has a cozy modern atmosphere that makes it great for date nights, family dinners, or hanging out with friends. The only thing I'd like to mention as a drawback is that sometimes the servers have hard time understanding you when you ask them for certain things. Which is honestly not the end of the world. There was a time where I asked for water. And I got a hot green tea. Then I got the water but didn't take the tea back. Then when I mentioned the tea to the server she didn't take back and came back with more water. After a long back and forth she took back the tea and 3 extra cups of water Overall a true five star
