In the window they have trukish delight, cakes, slices, biscuits and fruit, and as you go in theres a few sections to the store. Theres the deli up front, where you can choose from a huge range of cheeses and olives and some really delicious shaved meats. Or you can go a little further down and the staff will whip you up a sandwhich to either dine in or take away. A little bit further and theres a restaurant, where then have soups of the day and various other things. It's a great multi-tasker, and it is a good place if you want some specific but different delicassen. This could easily fall into a place you'd frequently visit. Its suits what ever it is your looking for.

Most places seemed to have major lack of anything fresh looking but there were more options here. I mean, it's def not WF or Sprouts but it was great compared to anything we'd come by in the prior two weeks. After all, being relatively the best is still the best. The store was easy to find and only about a mile away from the main strip of Manly but that was far enough away that the crowds didn't come over. Private lot outside that was mostly full but there were cars coming in and out so wasn't awful.

Their homemade focaccia (with garlic) was dense, garlicky and not too oily. The perfect appetizer and perfect for dipping in the seafood soup. And their tiramisu was delicious and just a perfect finalizer. To conclude, their service is great - all Italian staff and so polite and welcoming. The food came out very quick. Based on the ground floor within Balgowlah Totem Shopping Centre its a popular cafe being 1 of 6 eateries within the Centre however the point of difference is that Moreish Foods is also a delicatissen selling gourmet condiements, cookies, pastas and breads. There are two communal tables one right in the walkway of the Centre and the other within Moreish itself covered in Gourmet Traveller magazines and the like with a few other smaller tables. The food is freshly prepared and the coffee is very good. Both food and coffee are on the pricer side but all in all its a great place to take a breather from shopping or just to catch up with friends.

Fruit and veg is all as fresh as it gets... sometimes it looks so shiny it's like every piece has been individually hand poished. You'll rarely have to wait because there's a stable of cashiers - all super friendly. The delicatessen runs virtually the entire length of the store llike a big deli bowling alley, and there's muesli to accommodate every diet restriction known to man. I used to do my full weekly shop at this joint. If you're wondering why it's called Harbord Growers when it's right bang smack in the middle of Freshwater, it's because Freshwater was formerly known as Harbord.
