She told me it's currently usually a 5-9 day wait time on alterations but gave me the number to call directly to the person who does them since we need the dress at the end of this week. My one teen seems to be definitely going to homecoming and this is our first experience with finding a dress and needing a basic alteration, etc., so it appears Martinizing is the Nampa choice to get it done asap since prices seem comparable at any Nampa location. Although, if given the chance, I like/prefer to use family or locally-owned places. And this place may be, in spite of it being a "chain." I was told it would be ready by Tuesday, but when I went to pick it up, I was told it wouldn't be done until the next day, Wednesday. I showed up, picked up my blanket, went home and was immediately sick to my stomach! The pictures tell the story. I'm trying not to be upset, but I am let down that they didn't let me know that it was damaged. He just put it in a bag and sent me on my way. Lesson learned. Just like I check my food to be sure I got what I paid for at a drive through, I need to do the same when I go to the dry cleaner to voice my concerns about the finished product. I am sick that I am going tobe embarassed giving it to my daughter for my first grand baby, but I want her to know that I had good, loving intentions. The service is great, they are always helpful and never eyeballing you. I have had this pillow for 40 years and have had it re-ticked several times. I am pretty upset. They also "repaired" a pillow that my mother needlepointed and is is less than satisfactory.
