I took a feather pillow to have it re-ticked. It was a standard pillow and they re-ticked it as a queen size. Now it is very flat. Really, this is not acceptable. I would never recommend this place. They should not advertise that they re-tick feather pillows because they do not know what they are doing. They seem to be very disorganized. It took 2 months because they lost it and kept telling me they would call when it got to the right store in Meridian. I went in 3 times and finally have my flat pillow. I have had this pillow for 40 years and have had it re-ticked several times. I am pretty upset. They also "repaired" a pillow that my mother needlepointed and is is less than satisfactory. DO NOT GO HERE! I wanted to share my very unpleasant experience at the meridian ave location. I took a suit to be cleaned, a pea coat to be cleaned and buttons to be sewn back on, and green wool coat to have snaps replaced. Took this on Wednesday Dec 4 and was guaranteed this order will be done by Thursday, December 12. Cleaning of the suit was done quickly that Monday the 9th. When i inquired about the coats, they were not able to find the green coat. I asked them to call me back about the status of both coats and didn't hear anything back until I called them on the 11th. They again guaranteed that the peacoat would be done on the 12th cleaned and buttons sewn. They found the green coat and was told that would be done as well. I went to pick up today and the peacoat buttons were fastened, but the coat was obviously not cleaned as they promised! The green coat never got the snaps. I was also charged for the peacoat cleaning when it wasn't done! I want an immediate refund! This is completely unacceptable especially during the holiday season when people are taking items in to have done for special events. This is the first time and last time I will ever go here. They have had my dress since early July ( it is now late September), I wasn't even able to wear it to the function that I wanted to go to, which was my brothers wedding, because they took too long to clean the dress! When I arrived back from Hawaii I picked up my garments and one of the dresses was still dirty! After spending $64 on two dresses - yikes so expensive for such poor service! I decided to let them try again to take the stains out, it has been almost 3 months since they've had the dress. I picked it up today and it is still dirty it has stains all over it! 10 outta 10 would never use these incompetent fools again. I used a different service for over a decade until the owners retired forcing me to find a new provider. I dropped off shirts to be laundered and pressed they were very timely with the turn around but as I was picking up my items, one of the employees walked straight over and said "we knew this would happen" then proceeded to point out "dye transfer" on two $50 shirts. Somewhat in disbelief that they could be this retarded, I asked if they knew it was going to happen, then why continue and ultimately ruin the shirts. The response for the person that pointed out the folly "I thought someone called you?" Followed by "we just followed the instructions on the computer"... the instructions were put in the day I dropped off my items and the instructions were simple ... dry clean the things that need it launder the rest. I now have $400 dollars of worthless shirts thanks to the incompetence of Clothesline Cleaners. Do yourself a favor and take your business to a company that has ethics and common sense. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE. ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE ANY SORT OF DEADLINE. I needed a dress dry cleaned for a lady minute black tie event. It was Monday. The event was on Saturday. I called on Monday afternoon and explained my need and was told to bring the dress in the following day. I arrived the following morning (Tuesday) with the dress. I explained my situation again. I even made sure to note that because they weren't open on Saturday that the dress would be ready on Friday. They assured me that it would be good to go Friday after 3 pm. I showed up at 3 on Friday and it wasn't done. It actually hadn't even been started. I was then told it wouldn't be done til the following week. When I said I needed it today I was told there was no note of that on the dress, even though I had made it explicitly clear twice. They "returned" the dress to me. And by that I mean they literally handed it to me in a crumpled ball, inside out. No hanger. So now not only is it not clean, it's extremely wrinkled. I went out on a limb and used this dry cleaner because of the location convenience. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME. read more

I never thought I'd be taking the time to review a dry cleaning facility, but here we go. Bottom Line Up Front: It's not worth the price for the service provided. I stumbled upon this place as it was near the gym I attend and I had some winter jackets in the back that I needed to drop off. I found the first place on google and headed over. You could tell the image that the company was trying to cultivate was an "upscale dry cleaning service". I go to drop off the 3 coats and the young lady at the counter does warn me that they use "all natural cleaning products etc and they are a little more pricey than other cleaners". They gave me an estimate, and it wasn't ridiculous so I thought I'd give it a shot. I have no issues paying a little more for better service; however, I'm just trying to drop off my coats and hit the gym. But I can't. I swear I was there for 30 minutes filling out an application just to drop off my coats. They asked for so much information it was overkill. My biggest issue is when I was given an expected time frame to pick up the coats I was told 4 days and I would receive a text when it was ready. Three weeks go by and I haven't heard a word. When I give the business a call i was told the costs are ready and have been ready for quite some time and no attempt was made to contact me. The final straw occurred when I checked out and the price was much more than quoted. As I said before I have no issues paying extra for quality work but I have to say I can't tell a difference between the products they used vs any other cleaner. Overall I would not go back. For the amount of time wasted just dropping off the jackets, with no attempt made to contact me after the items were cleaned after all the information collected, and for the price quoted vs what was charged was just not worth it. I can appreciate a business attempting to make "high end dry cleaning service" and the idea of pick up and delivery is unique, but I wasn't impressed. Even the plastic wrapping was the same. Sent several Eileen Fisher sweaters in for cleaning recently. When they returned, they were stretched out of shape and pressed thin. Worse, one had a large hole in the back. No note, no call, just a hole. When I contacted them they indicated that "the sweater probably already had a small hole in it and the cleaning just frayed it". I asked for the sweater to be replaced. Instead they "mended" it and sent it back with a large pucker in the back. After several texts and phone calls, I was offered 1/2 the price of the sweater. My complaint is that on top of the premium price they nickel-and-dime based on the color of your shirt and the type of cuffs. Dropped off here since they are close to work. Likely the MOST expensive place I have ever taken my clothes. They tried to charge me $22.00 for blouse and pants. I had previously looked up prices online, so when I disputed the charge was informed there is an "upcharge" for silk. (Price list says $7 something for blouses - it was close to a $5 upcharge). Most of my professional wardrobe has to be dry cleaned, and I know it's always expensive. This was highway robbery - since when is there an upcharge for dry cleaning materials that are always dry clean only? Unbelievable. I took 3 sets of drapes to these cleaners. One set had a blackout lining which they ruined - it actually melted at all the pleated folds of the drape. After taking 3 days to get back to me (and repeated calls to them), they finally told me I should send the drapes back to the manufacturer and that this must be a manufacturer's defect. I have had these drapes for years, had them cleaned previously and would not be able to return them to the manufacturer. Needless to say, I will not EVER go to their location again! By the way, the cost to clean these drapes was not cheap - my total bill was over $273. I am going to get an estimate from a DIFFERENT cleaners for them to install a new blackout lining and send Gary McCracken the bill. read more

I brought into Clothesline Cleaners a 60-year old wool blanket of my grandmothers, which had large, dark stains on it that were practically as old as the blanket. It had been wrapped up and placed in storage for all of those years, and when I unwrapped it this Spring I was dismayed to see how stained it was. We were all doubtful that a stain that large and old could be removed, so really I was just hoping to give it a general freshening up. They ladies estimated it might take a month, since they were very busy with winter items. I was surprised a week later when they called to say it was ready.... and thrilled to pieces to see that after much effort, they had removed the entire 60-year old stain! I couldn't believe my eyes. I cannot thank them enough, and will only bring my clothes to Clothesline Cleaners in the future. The folks who work there are friendly and professional as well. Thanks a million!! read more

I had 5 jackets and 5 shirts dry cleaned, the bill was almost $200 which they chose special cleaning to do and proceeded to charge me for it without my permission, also they delivered my clothes back and left out 2 jackets. When I called my rep that I met, she said that she confirmed my jacket was delivered when in fact it was not, they said they were holding it back for estimates to do more work to them, which i never asked?? Clothesline cleaners is absolutely lousy. I took a sports coat, slacks, and shirt into them and the girl told me that they could have them ready by late in the afternoon a few days later. When I asked if they could get them done earlier, she said that they could probably have them ready by 9:00 am. She DID NOT say anything about a rush fee for getting them done a few hours earlier. Also, there were some stains on the jacket which I pointed out and she told me that that wasn't a problem and they'd take care of them. She didn't say anything about an extra fee for getting them out. When I went in at nine a few days later to get them, there was another woman working the counter and I about fell over when I was told that bill was $46.00. When I asked why, she said that I had to pay a "rush fee" and that the jacket was heavily stained and required more work. This woman was also rather snotty and I asked her why I wasn't told about the "rush fee" in the beginning. She just shrugged and said "well...I don't know." To add insult to injury, THEY DIDN'T EVEN GET THE STAINS OUT OF THE JACKET!!!!! I took the jacket to another cleaners that didn't have any problem getting the stains out and they didn't charge me either. I'll never set foot in their door again and I wouldn't recommend that anyone else go in there either. read more

I brought in two brand new sets of BDUs and asked that they be military pressed so put in all the necessary creases. I also asked for a medium starch so they would be stiff. What I got back was simply two sets of ironed BDUs. No creases. When I asked of they starched them she said "No just ironed." Unfortunately I needed these right away so I paid $32 for them to iron them for me, but I had to go back and put all the creases in. Waste of money. Honestly, I have used Clothesline for every item that has needed special care, even my rugs. Their work is superior. They are expensive but worth it. Sadly, that is not what I am commenting on today. I had dropped off a sweater vest and a dress back in September. I had received a few emails regarding my items needing to be picked up. I had planned to pick them up Christmas weekend. A week ago, I find an unauthorized charge on my debit card from Clothesline Cleaners for $29.66. I quickly stopped payment on the charge. Regardless, it was unethical for the owner to run my debit card without my knowledge. The owner, Gary, called my cell phone and left a very condescending voicemail. He blasted me for turning him in to my bank fraud department. I called him back and told him that it was wrong what he did. I came down within an hour of speaking to him to pay for my service and pick up my items. I just wanted to be done with this. Gary was there waiting for me! He was holding my items and as I tried to pay for my items and leave, he kept embarrassing and harassing me, treating me like a child. He would not let me pay or leave until he got his two cents in! I was there for 20 minutes. The poor employees were so nervous! If he is going to treat a paying customer like this, I can only imagine what it must be like to work for someone like that! Finally after I begged him to stop harassing me, I was able to pay and just leave. Obviously, I won't be going back. read more

I actually received a phone call after sending in my wool coat to them to be cleaned asking if I wanted it sent out for a repair job and that the lining had come loose... I thought that was weird considering that there was nothing wrong with the coat when I sent it in. They destroyed it if that's not worse they then told me that they'll repair it, for a price that they had no intention of accepting liablilty for it at all. On top of that a brand new banana republic shirt was returned with bleach stains throughout it. What a rotten, horrible place to go to. I thought I had hit a jackpot right by my house, they deliver and pick up. My advice, drive a little further wait a little longer and don't loose hundreds of dollars in garments being destroyed. Worst service ever!!!! Never been to a place were they assault there customers both verbally and physically, but this place did just that to me!!! I was told my items would be one price, when showing up to get my items back they were still filthy and had almost doubled in price!! I was not satisfied with there service because my items were not clean and the price was ridiculous, I said I was willing to pay the price I was quoted but not what they were trying to charge me. The manager showed up when I told her my items where still dirty she verbally accosted me about me not wanting to pay that price. When I had finally had enough i went to grab my items she tried jerking them out of my hand, then came scream around from behind the counter calling me a f---king b--ch and jerking me around by thee extension of the items. She stepped away when I told her I was now calling the cops. I stepped outside to try to make a phone call when she came out the door, (while customers where trying to go into the establishment might I add) and threw another one of my items at me and said, you know what f--k you here you go! I tried to call the owner but was in contact with the General manager instead. She said she would head down there look at the tape and get back to me. After bout 1 hour I was contacted by a police officer who said that they wanted to press charges on me for theft after I had called the police to press charges for assault. Theft for not wanting to pay for MY items that already belonged to me through a crappy service that was not fulfilled on there part, are you kidding me? I ended up paying there bullshit price to avoid any legal actions against me.I have pressed charges and will be taking them to court. I don't care if I get my money back or not at this point. I just want them to know they cannot do that to people and get away with it. I will not be treated like this from some scum bag family owned corporation who think they can treat people in such an obscene manner! After filling my charges I learned the " Manager" in this incident is the owners daughter, no wonder they were all treating me like shit, even though the video tapes show her plain as day assaulting me!!! But shes the Owners daughter, don't wanna piss off daddy and lose you're job!! I am a business owner and would never in a million years treat someone this way. If they were unhappy with services they would not be made to pay for them, specially if we did such a crap job as they did!
