Great time at Fountain Square. It was right by our hotel, live music Saturday night from a great band for free. They have seating and a bar to get drinks if you want. You can bring in whatever food you want. Security kept it very nice and clean. People out on the dance floor as well. Overall super fun experience and looks like they host different events as well. The fountain is very pretty as well with lots of little details. Worth checking out!

Stopped here prior to dinner reservations at the Davidson. There was a jazz band playing and the temperature was perfect. There's a bar on site that serves canned beer, seltzer & wine. Prices are standard prices for concert venues. Roughly $15 for a 16oz beer & 12 oz wine. Great summer vibes.

Salsa on the Square every Thursday 7-10pm during the Summer! A great way to unwind and reset. Fun for all ages! Date night, solo, or with the family you will always have a dance partner if you want one. The bands are fantastic and from all over the world. Salsa and Bachata lessons are free at 7:40 and 8:40 each night. Mazunte has a regular food table and the tacos are always popping! PNG and 5/3 are to be thanked for sponsoring this Cincy staple Summer soirée. Great music, dancing and service!

Fountain Square has free events every night of the week during the summer! My favorite is Salsa on the Square on Thursdays. We came tonight for Indie Friday, and had a great time listening to the live music. They also do trivia earlier in the week. Check out their social media to see what they're doing each night! They also have a bar with a great selection of cans and some liquor options. Great place to check out if you're looking for something to do or a place to hang out downtown!

I was in town for business and staying at the nearby Hilton. I was surprised that Fountain Square was so close, so I wandered over twice: once at lunchtime and once after dinner. They were having a Latin band performing in the evening and people were enjoying dancing and socializing. I probably wouldn't have known what this place was if it wasn't for the opening credits from "WKRP in Cincinnati" but I was glad I stopped by.

Fountain square located in a popular district of downtown cincinnati Ohio is a lovely sitting area surrounded by an amazing large fountain. Me and my family were on a weekend getaway to the city and right near the parking garage for our hotel we seen this amazing fountain and stopped by to take some photo opportunities and check it out. Seemed a lot of people we're sitting in the outdoor common area enjoying lunch on a beautiful day. Overall cool place and one the nicest and most creative fountain statues I've ever seen. Very nice addition to that area.

Beautiful fountain in downtown Cincinatti, great spot for pictures. We were there in November weather was great, fountain was on and an outdoor ice skating ring is in the square area. There are other activities that happen in the square depending on their calendar day. Seating and small tables were available it was the perfect location to enjoy our coffee and pastries we bought from a location near by.

Large beautiful fountain and a nice sitting area. Unfortunately we came here for the visitor center and they are no longer here.

Fountain Square is basically Cincinnati's epicenter. A lot of events happen around here. There's often festivals in the summer. Nice place to take pictures. There's lots of places to eat and shop. It's pretty easy to find. It has a big statue in the fountain. The statue is of a woman and I'm not sure what it represents. It does look pretty beautiful. The square that surrounds it often has areas blocked off because something is going on. In October the city has Oktoberfest, so that gets a lot of attention. There's booths set up all over the place. In the summer there are many concerts. In winter there's an ice skating rink. There's plenty of parking spots.

Fountain Square is a great spot in the heart of the city! A great spot for enjoying food and drink (especially when the food carts show up!), a great spot to hang out and catch some live music, and a great spot to people watch! (+) The fountain is stunning and is always great to see in person! At night it looks especially impressive with all the lights surrounding it! (+) Plenty of food options nearby, including Chipotle, Jimmy Johns, Skyline Chili, and Graeters! On one of the days I was visiting, they had food trucks lined up all around the square with some great eats available! (+) They had a free reggae concert also on of the days we stopped by! From what I hear, they frequently have live entertainment available down here as well! (+) With its central location, you are within walking distance to most landmarks downtown! It was like a 10-15 minute walk to the sports stadiums! (-) Much smaller than I remembered it. lol Fountain Square is a great spot to take in a great bite, some good music, and some outstanding people watching! Plus a visit to Cincy wouldn't be complete without seeing that fountain! (*WKRP theme plays in my head as I type this* lol) 4 solid stars!

If you are from Cincinnati and have not been to the Square-- what are you waiting for?! This is a highlight of Cincinnati, as it is not too far away from the Banks or the center of town. There is a parking garage right underneath the Square, as well as several restaurants around the perimeter. You can't miss Graeters or the Italian restaurant Via Vete--both have great views of the square. Not to mention, there are tons of events that happen at Fountain Square. Check out the calendar for the summer months, as they have salsa on the Square, as well as several bands that come in throughout the warm season. One of my favorite highlights? A statue of the 150th anniversary of the Reds--one of several of them located around town. If you are out and about in Cincinnati and want to just see a good picture of the town, start at Fountain Square. You are within walking distance of so many places around town. The fountain in the middle of the park is such an iconic statue for Cincinnati-- not to mention, the backdrop of a great photo shoot!

One of my favorite sightseeing spots in central Cinncy. It's surrounded by lots of great historical buildings, art, and good eats! Recommend getting some Graeter's Ice Cream right in the square and then lounging out at the sitting area by the fountain. During the winter time they open ice skating in the center of the square. You can also park under the square so you won't have far to walk to enjoy the sights. At night time they have carriage rides, sometimes concerts/live music, and lots of other events, https://myfountainsquare.com/events/

Cool Spot to hang out in downtown.Ice skating rink ,Christmas Tree and Christmas shopping stalls are setup. Lot of food stores around with Graeters Ice cream being the closest. Lot if street and paid parking. The statue in middle of the square is a delight to watch with colors changing every 3 secs.

We struggled to finally find a parking space around the block. We also tried calling the phone number listed on the board at the entrance to no avail ,window shades were drawn. Clark…read moreStreet looks like it is miles away from Downtown Cincinnati, with its Italianate houses and gigantic canopy of oak trees. This part of town looks like it's straight out of a New England movie, with historic houses to boot. The Betts House is the oldest house in Cincinnati and Ohio, erected in 1804, just one year after Ohio became a state. The Betts family originally owned several blocks of land on the West End, but as generations passed, Cincinnati expanded and plots of land were split. Surprisingly, when the Betts lived here, the West End was considered rural. Just two stories tall and consisting of eight rooms, the house chronicles the history of the Betts family and the evolution of the West End in the permanent upstairs exhibit. Downstairs features a rotating exhibit, currently which is about the New Madrid Earthquake in 1811. The earthquake was felt here in Cincinnati and caused extensive damage to the Betts' kitchen. Sounds pretty cool, so why only three stars? During my visit, a mother brought her toddler to visit one of the docents. Their conversation could be heard loudly throughout the house, even when I was on the second floor and they were downstairs. The toddler was screaming and crawling all over the place. The docent didn't seem to mind that she was getting weird looks from myself and a few of the other guests. That being said, please do not bring children to the Betts House. It's a museum for adults or mature youth. Most of the exhibit features text and diagrams which are much too complex for anyone under age 10. Also, since there is a lot of reading, excessive noise and talking disturbs other patrons. Lastly, when I went upstairs to view the Betts Family exhibit, the room featured a few posterboards propped up on the floor. They weren't on stands or affixed to the wall like a normal museum. I actually had to kneel to read the end of the paragraphs. As a historical landmark, the Betts House is worth a look. The presentation at the museum, on the other hand, I could go either way. Cost per person: $2.00 Viewing Time: 1 hour Tips: - Ample, free street parking - Not handicapped accessible, as it is preserved as a historic house. - Check out the neighboring house with a placard, where the Gamble Family once resided.
