We just stopped in this time to check out the lounge and view of the strip after attending the MJ one show. The lounge side is very nice with great decor, staff is friendly and view of the strip is great. We plan on making reservations for dinner in the future.

Went here for a team event and loved the overall experience. Not cheap but worth it. Overall I would recommend this place if expense is not a thing for you. Here are my takes: Food/Drinks: The lamb chops they gave in appetizers were too good. Other food was good too here. Plenty of good drinks to try here with an Irish touch to them, however, the bartender did mess up our couple of drinks (Bourbon mule) and we were like what's that, and Where is ginger in it? But anyway overall nice place to be. Service: The food servers were nice and quick too. The whole place was crowded but the food and drink were quickly served even at the bar. Ambiance: Many rooms to explore and there is a great vibe inside with unique decor. It is at the top floor of Mandalay and has a great holistic view of the begas lights. Hygiene: It was dark themed interior so hard to stay but everything seemed to be clean overall. Price: We did not pay since it was an office arranged party but I wouldn't be surprised if it is expensive. I would not go here every day but wouldn't mind being here on special occasions.

What a fun time!!! I'll always come here when in Vegas. Last time was the Tropicana Implosion. Today was for the Super Bowl party. Had a seat in the large Shangri-La room. Plenty of oversized monitors all around. No one had a bad seat. Miranda was an absolute Rock Star taking care of me, as well as juggling other tables around the room. Always a smile. Never flustered, no matter how many others demanded her attention. Had a couple Bloody Mary's, a couple Espresso Martinis, a regular espresso, and a couple sparkling Liquid Deaths. The espresso was good because I'll probably head back to LA this evening. Food-wise I opted for a half order of the Steak Tasting, on their special Game menu. All medium rare. Perfectly cooked and sliced. So juicy and delicious! The Foundation Room has its own dining room during normal evenings. I seem to recall they recently updated their menu, too. I've never been disappointed. The full qualities served were generally for a table of four, while the half-sized portions took care of two people easily. Probably returning in 10 days on my next Vegas trip.

The Foundation Room at the Mandalay Bay is where you go if you're looking to have a classic Vegas night. The beautiful view of the sparkling Mandalay Bay sign overlooking people, cars, casinos below. It's incredibly packed on the weekends and you'll have to wait your turn (5-10 minutes) to get a look at the view but it's worth it. Stop by the bar up there and grab a drink -- Monica was super nice and makes good drinks. I ordered a pineapple Malibu to pair with the view of the city. They've got go-go dancers as well. The women are dancing on tables and to hip-hop top 50 songs will be playing in the background. Just note that this is where you go if you don't mind rubbing elbows and maybe getting a drink spilled on you. It's very Vegas.

This bar is nice and has the view of The Vegas strip. I went with a couple of friends on a Friday but we arrived quite early around 9pm. The crowd starts to come in around 11pm. The drinks was good. Service was fast. They accommodate big groups of people for birthdays and other events. Been here before and the experience never disappoints.

Perched on the 63rd floor of the Mandalay Bay, The Foundation Room is not just a bar; it's an experience that begins with a slightly nerve-wracking elevator ride which, in retrospect, is a small price for the panoramic payoff. Upon arrival, you're greeted by breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip, sprawling out beneath you like a carpet of lights, setting the stage for an unforgettable night. The atmosphere inside is an elegant blend of opulence and comfort, with an intimate setting that makes it feel like you've stepped into a secret club for those in the know. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between upscale lounge and cozy hangout, making it ideal for both special occasions and casual nights out. I ventured there for the Heightened Shenanigans uncensored comedy show, hosted by the charismatic Gabe Lopez. Here's where The Foundation Room transforms from just another high-end bar to a comedy haven. Entry to the show is surprisingly free, a generous touch that adds incredible value to the evening. Just mention at the door that you're there for the comedy, and you're in. The lineup, featuring comedians like Trix, delivered non-stop laughter, proving that the room's talent for curating entertainment is as impressive as its cocktail menu. Speaking of which, my evening started with one of their signature Old Fashioneds. Crafted with skill, it was the ideal blend of smooth and strong, setting a high bar for the night. As the laughs rolled on, I switched to Jameson and Coke, finding them well-priced for the setting, which often isn't the case in such an exclusive venue. Service throughout was attentive but not intrusive, allowing the comedy to take center stage while ensuring your glass was never empty. The fact that this caliber of entertainment comes without a cover charge on what I discovered to be the last Saturday of each month, makes The Foundation Room not just a recommendation but a must-visit. In summary, The Foundation Room offers more than just drinks; it provides a full sensory experience with its stunning views, top-notch cocktails, and quality entertainment. Whether you're a local or a visitor looking to elevate your Vegas nightlife experience, this spot deserves a top spot on your list. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, and if you appreciate good humor with your views, you should too.

I am outdating myself, but we/I used to hang out here when this was the mix, restaurant and bar, club, etc. Quality/Quantity - Drinks are so much more affordable now, see menu! Thank you. Still beautiful views, see pictures. Sauvignon Blanc - Not New Zealand, but still good. Louis Jadot Pouilly - Fuisse - Good. Simple bar menu, see pictures. Atmosphere - 63rd floor! Private direct elevator. Beautiful views of the strip. Beautiful decor, although I actually liked the mix decor better. Many private lounges and rooms, see pictures. Bar seating and outside patio seating. Service - Members only program. Bottle service, bottle locker service. Our bartenders were good and friendly. Price - $33 + generous tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success 2006...?

Beautiful space with an amazing view! Definitely worth coming before sunset so you can see the mountains surrounding Vegas. We got the scallop appetizer, lamb entree, cauliflower entree, and cereal milk ice cream dessert. We loved everything and would've tried more if we weren't already full. Our server Roberto was wonderful, attentive and kind enough to put up with me asking him to take our photo haha. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Las Vegas.

    Samantha W.

The views from this bar are like no other!! Great photo opportunity but skip the bar, drinks range from $20-$30 and the prices kept changing depending on what bar tender waited on you. They also did not have a drink menu unless you had a VIP section reserved.

Foundation Room offers a cool experience in Las Vegas. We really enjoyed the bao buns! If the service was better I would give a 5/5 but it took a LONG while to get our check and we were rarely checked up on. The view is absolutely stunning and it's an experience I would try out at least once!

    Heather P.

Absolutely beautiful. Great view of the strip too. Drinks weren't that great but the ambiance and view made up for it. Cute place and decent size with music. Would go again and try different drinks.

    Kat P.

The view was absolutely stunning ! I truly think one of the best from a rooftop bar/club. Went on a Friday around 10pm. Still pretty empty. The outside bar was closed on the other side which was a bummer. It was a neat looking bar, music was nice, drinks were okay. Tip: Get on Guest List on Website for free admission

This club is on the 63rd floor of Mandalay bay and needs special reservations to get into. The interior is kind of old but very interesting. I liked that some rooms were more private and had a TV in them. The view from the balcony was amazing but if you sat down then the view would be blocked by the cement Balustrade. We did not try their food since we already had dinner but a glass of beer and a glass of champagne cost $30. We also got bottle service but since it was just Vodka I did not try.

Looking to go to the Foundation Room in a few weeks for the Strip view. I wanted to go to Ghostbar but just found out it was closed. I put my name on "the list" but is there anything else I can do to get in?

Ask the hotel concierge. We were able to get in because a hotel worker was passing out drink tickets and encouraging people to visit upstairs. It was DEAD though, not sure what your experience will be.

    Is foundation room members only?

There are membership options, but you don't need any membership to go up on the average evening/night, grab a drink from the bar, and either sit in the lounge or out on the balcony. I stop in randomly all the time.

The venue itself is beautifully designed, with a more intimate, sophisticated feel compared to larger Las Vegas clubs. It's a great option if you're looking for something stylish with a strong music and ambiance focus. The overall vibe is smooth and elevated -- great music, well-dressed crowd, and an atmosphere that feels exclusive without being overwhelming. One thing worth noting is the camera policy. The venue emphasizes a no-camera experience, which I understand is meant to maintain privacy and keep the focus on the moment. However, I did notice a few cameras out and about during the night, which made the policy feel a bit inconsistent. Not a major issue, but something that stood out. The Pinky Room is a jazz/live band club located in the heart of the Bellagio - closer to the exit towards the Caesar's Palace walkway. We waited in line on a Saturday evening right when this opened. There was no cover charge, but there is a bouncer checking over your outfit. We weren't told exactly what wasn't allowed but supposedly they will check (saw a lot of the bouncers looking at shoes in particular). Once you are in, you got a stamp in case you need to step out to grab food or go to the restroom which is not in the club. The bar is set to the far side of the club with the bar area and dance floor set for general attendees. Most of the area though is for reserved tables that require higher drink minimums. The bar at the beginning of the night was easy to get to but once the band came on, it was a tough battle getting a drink as a regular attendee since most of the patrons were really squished in that area trying to watch the band. The band itself that we saw was great with reportedly Bruno's brother on the drums. It was a fun time and the acoustics were pretty good. The mocktail I had also wasn't bad with drink prices being normal Vegas Strip pricing. Again, love the concept and love live bands. Just think this venue is super squished and doesn't make as much sense for a normal patron versus having a table.
