Will, Luke, & Kanan were polite, pleasant, & hard-working. Did what was needed & what they came to do (concrete work). The next crew (poly-fill), Anthony & helper, patiently waited for the concrete work to be done & finished up, tho' concrete work ran later than expected. They realized my frustration with SCHEDULING (this was the 4th appointment made for this job after the first 3 were postponed, & not being informed ahead of time for a prior cancellation) was legitimate, & worked to finish in one day, what had originally been ordered over 3 months ago. If the job had been done when ORIGINALLY scheduled, we wouldn't have had to deal with frigid temperatures & mounds of snow & muddy tarps & floors. (The guys cleaned up as best as they could) Your schedulers, however, need "help." read more

FRS has contacted me and cancelled my contract. Therefore I am no longer stuck for a deposit. I do appreciate this. I had heard good things about FRS which was why I contacted them in the first place. That doesn't change my advice however. Be aware of any company, do not get in a rush, get multiple bids, read every word no matter how long it takes, take 2-3 days to think it over. I made every one of these mistakes. read more

Was lied to by salesperson, was lied to by the installer. Called company was told that I was told half-truths. They told me they would refund me part of my money and send someone out to make things right they did not. Was promised a membrane would be installed it was not. FRS did the best they could with a house that was not constructed properly to begin with. A person might want to determine if the house was built properly before investing in a recovery as well as determine if the ground the house is sitting on is in a constant state of movement. The piers might be mechanically sound but if the entire house, slab, footers and ground it is built on constantly shift with the weather or other events all ofthe work will be for nothing. Consider very carefully if this service is going to benefit the structure or expose the poor construction. read more

We had them come out and do our foundation work. The guys doing the work we're fine, that's the only reason I would even give them 1 star. I have been waiting since June for them to fill in the holes in my yard. I have called, texted, done everything I can to get this done so I can get my house on the market. I called last week and they said they would call me by the end of the day. It's been a week, no call back. If they don't come today, as they have said, I'm going to call Fox4 problem solvers. So I would not recommend them based on what I paid and the service we received. They called after seeing review, they did get a crew out that day which I appreciate. Not happy with the service. Paid wayyyy tooo much. They missed cracks in my basement, and wanted to argue that they did not need to be done. Now are telling me if they have to come back if they missed cracks, they would charge me again. Things just keep coming up and charged and charged again. When the job was done they called and asked why it hadn't been paid yet, but they had not sent out an invoice for it to be paid yet. Not happy. read more

A young man came out and did notknow what to do. Spent an hour talking with another contractor. I asked if they would like to come back later so the experienced contractor could look at it. 3 weeks later after a reminder they still did not show. All I got was a sales pitch for their crawl space coverings and no idea how to fix my foundation. I ended up using a different contractor that started immediately. When we purchased our home two years ago the patio was severely cracked and extremely uneven. It has become worse since that time giving us concerns about tripping hazards and continued erosion. They worked on our foundation about 5 years ago. Was not aware we had to have gutters to maintain our warranty, therefore it was not valid. However, we had a wonderful technician, Davis Kelecher, that worked with us to get that warranty back into effect. So thankful he took his time helping us out, letting us know what needed to be done. Good company. just make sure you know that there are other things that need to be done to guarantee the warranty. There is more to it than just tightening things up. I did a LOT of research on waterproofing my basement prior to having Foundation Recovery came out. The good reviews are why I got a bid, however based on my experience (w/o getting work done) - they do not honor their word, office does not return calls (maybe to avoid being caught in lies) and are extremely overpriced. I about choked when he quoted me over $12,500, considering I am in a small city home and had 4 other bids ranging from $6,000-7,300 (this is around double). He explained they knew they were higher priced, and doing research to see where they need to be in market. I told him the company I was planning on scheduling with, and he was surprised that FRS was significantly higher. He told me if I sent him all my bids they would price match plus take $100 off. Which was a joke. I spent time gathering all my bids with the materials and sf involved and sent to him; someone from office followed up, however slightly changing what I was initially told- Saying the companies needed to be A+ rated with the BBB to honor offer. I understood this, so once again spent more time regathering everything and looking up each company to check. They all were, so I attempted to review and schedule appt; after numerous calls and 4 unanswered messages over span of time, I was unable to reach anyone. I finallemailed the initial inspector who promptly called me back and apologized. I reminded him I was told price match plus $100 off (now told this several times via in person, voicemails and emails). He now says they wouldn't match the company I initially planned on (the one he previously was surprised they were lower) and has to get approval from his boss on others, all ok. But then comes back and says the lowest they can do is still over $9k! The 3 bids left at this point are all under $6,600, so this is around $3k more (hardly $100 less like I was told several times). I explained this is still significantly more, but asked him to send me the info so I could review. No shocker, this was never sent. I wanted to see why they did not honor what I was told numerous times, but at this point was beyond frustrated and didn't want to waste more time. I wanted to have this done by now; but instead, after wasting my time and months dealing with them, am now waiting for my initial planned company to come out. I am editing previous review, as Sales Manager Erik reached out and is aiming to rectify the previous issues. While the bid materials and specifics will change, he spent time reviewing my initial bids to make theirs comparable in price. I appreciate his sincere apologies, and time he has spent reviewing and walking through everything with me. I hope the rest of the project/service will be timely and satisfactory. read more

I can't say enough great things about Foundation Recovery Systems. Within a few days of contacting them we had a representative come to assess our issues and come up with a plan. We were informed well ahead of time, by mail, when a crew would begin work and that crew was on-time and ready to go. The crew on our job consisted of Clint Dixon, Alonzo and Brody and they were terrific. I had a lot of questions and checked in on them often and I was always greeted with a smile and given straight and honest answers. They had a lot of very hard and heavy labor to do outdoors during a period of extreme cold in addition to an ice storm and they never once slowed down or had a bad attitude. They were punctual every day. Once the job was done it was thoroughly explained to me and I was encouraged to call with any questions or concerns. Clint was an excellent leader for his crew in both experience and work-ethic. He is clearly knowledgeable about what he does and it shows in his work. I can't stress enough how much heavy, physical labor was involved and Clint, Alonzo and Brody dug in an hustled to get it done. There is some additional dirt work that needs to be done but it has to wait until the weather warms up and FRS already has us on their schedule to have it taken care of at the end of the month. Fast-forward to 10 days after work is completed. I had a question and Clint personally came to look at it and alleviate my concerns. That's SERVICE after the sale--an increasingly rare thing. I had hire a engineering firm (over 40 years of experience) to evaluate my problem. basement was fine, except it need some exterior grading . Explained this to chris , what next happen with us, was I CANCELED my appointment with his company. Didn't care what the engineer proposal said and he was (to me), just trying to sell the companys system, and having a LARGE amount of cash leaving my pockets. always get a opinion of a certified engineering firm, and save you THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. read more

They said nothing about needing to have someone move hot water heater or washer/dryer. They cut the pipe that drains my washing machine then told me everything was hooked up fine. The membrane they placed on the wall is falling down. Pretty bad service for such expense! The salesman gave minimal explanation but a good sales pitch. Homeowner beware! read more

After trying everything I could think of to fix a leaking basement window, I turned to a basement waterproofing company. None offered to just replace the window well and window, so I finally settled on having a sump pump installed. It wasn't cheap, but I'm satisfied with the work. The two technicians arrived on time, cleaned up the mess, and explained how it all works. I was afraid the window might still leak around the seal a little, but after a very heavy rain a few days ago, there wasn't a drop of water anywhere. Everyone I dealt with was polite and professional, and I have a warranty that transfers when I sell the money pit (ahem) house. read more

A few days after speaking with a representative via email and scheduling an appointment and questioning why I would need to allow their representative to stay at my home for two hours, I was sent an e-mail saying that I didn't service my area. Wouldn't they have determined that they didn't service my area at the time that I made the appointment? This seems like a company that builds its business and acquires its contractual agreements by having representatives squat at people's homes and force them into contracts in order to get them to leave. read more

I feel that I was ripped off and that the company did not honor the warranty of their work that they state they have. The job was not done correctly the first time and it cost considerably more than it should have to finally get the water to stop coming into my basement. Had my porch poly lifted, it had dropped in the middle 6"! I didn't give 5 stars because it took 4 tries for them to actually get job done. Had to reschedule because they had problems with their equiptment. After the second time my account got escalated by Jill at the office. Joe Keleher, director of customer care called me that same day after he noticed my account had been escalated. Joe said that he would be my point of contact from then on out! He was great at working with my schedule to reschedule. He even tried to have a different location come to do the job, but once again had equiptment problems after they showed up. Shaq Golden's was the foreman who did the job and was great! He was very thorough and informative. He was concerned that I was a happy customer when he left. Great experience, FRS did a great job on my driveway which has heaved, cracked, and settled over the years (it's elevated, slopes upwards towards my garages). After being turned down by mud-jackers, a friend sent me FRS's video of their proprietary process, which is polyurethane foam injected into the void created over time under my 900-sq ft concrete driveway. They can create support, and lift if necessary to raise back to original level. They have used this process commercially for freeway underpasses with great success. This seemed like a much better alternative to mudjacking. The foam dries in a very short period of time (less than 30 minutes), and then a subcontractor repairs cracks with a rubberized caulk which also dries very quickly. Worked really well for my purposes, saved me literally $3000 over removing & replacing.
