This locally owned company encapsulated our basement last week and did a fantastic job. Caleb and…read morehis crew, Zach and Ben, are hard workers, very professional, knowledgeable, and capable of sealing off even the tight crawl spaces we had. It was a difficult basement, and they approached the challenge with the experience and expertise you would expect with this type of work. They left our basement clean and finished. A company is only as good as its employees, and everyone working at Ameri-dry was friendly, efficient, and professional when communicating with us. They quickly addressed our questions and always had a solution. Laura and Kayla greeted us on the phone, and both ladies were pleasant and efficient. They are real assets to the company. Stephen was sent out to do the estimate, did the calculations, explained our options, and after a few minutes in his truck, came back to us with the price. They want satisfied customers and encourage you to call back with any doubts or questions. We are so happy we found them. Thank you, Ameri-dry!

I was referred to Master Foundation by a friend and am very thankful for that referral. I found Gio, the Team Leader to have great communication skills and was contacted by him when he was en route approximately 45 minutes before his arrival time. He explained everything that he and his crew, Julius and Jake, would be doing. The team was very knowledgeable and worked consistently the time they were there. The finished project looks great and I'm now happy and proud of the way my crawlspace looks. Thank you Gio, Julius and Jake for the excellent work you provided!!!

My direct contact was Chris Cooper. He messaged me 45 minutes before our scheduled meeting and arrived on time. Chris was very knowledgeable and honest about what he said their crews would be doing. He showed me videos of how the work would be done and took the time to explain in great detail the parts I was still confused about. I like to know a lot about things I need done so that I can gauge how much information is correct coming from the mouths of sales people. Chris didn't disappoint when it came to giving me factual information I needed to make a decision to hire them. He also presented me with a total amountfor all the work needing to be done and I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable this company is. HIRED Sir!!! I had another question I presented to him the next day and he took the time to message me back. THAT means a lot! I will definitely refer anybody that needs basement help to Master Services.

The short version: GoDry is a good company. they communicate well, their work is solid. I 100…read morepercent trust their main workers, and the main owner, Jim. I can give a solid 4 stars, the work is solid and i still have no flooding, but with the frustrations I dealt with out of one of the owners (not Jim), I cannot in good conscience give 5 stars. The downsides: Dealing with one of the owners, the main person that comes out to do the job. The first day on the job, I was lied to and told that a tree branch fell down and bent my gutter, right where the machine was working. I have no trees near the area large enough to cause that kind of damage. I was told it would be fixed, so i didn't argue. After the final check was signed I had to fight a few weeks to get the gutter fixed, but it was indeed fixed. Other issues - I'm told that i can schedule time with one of the workers who does his own side jobs. I come to an agreement with this worker. I wait for 6 months, then start asking for availability in February. This came to a head in late April after getting tugged around for 2 months. I was told by the owner that in order to get some time with the worker, they would have to shut down their business for a day to come out and do work, possibly shutting their business down permanently. I did not appreciate being guilted in this way, but after this conversation they did send allow their foreman to come out and fix a couple things i was owed. A (probably) positive story to share: I was told by the foreman that this was a complete accident, and i do trust him. My water pipe was in the area where they were digging. somehow this came loose and flooded my basement. The pipe was dry fitted many years ago and they believe the weight of the dirt lifting off did cause it to pop off. This seemed believable to me, and they did stay very late on a Friday to try and get me working again. Does running a new water line cost 1550 dollars for 30 feet of pex and digging a 30ft trench, where the wall is already accessible and your equipment is on site already? Doubtful. But I didn't have much of a choice. Backstory: I called GoDry back in March of 2021 to assess my situation. When my wife and I moved into our house about 5 years ago, it was not disclosed that our property's basement floods during sustained heavy rains, and due to the water table we experience hydrostatic pressure. For the past few years, we'd know that if we got over 1 1/2 inches of rain in a short time, OR if its rainy season and we get a lot of rain, we were going to get water in our finished basement. GoDry came out and assessed my situation. Gregg and Jim are professional and take the time to explain their product, and how they think it can benefit our situation. They started work in September 2021 due to being so backed up with other contracts/work requests. During this time Jim would call and give me status updates to know when to expect them out at my home. It took about a month of effort but they were able to dig up the areas discussed and laid down their product. Along the way GoDry would show me the issues, and let me go down with them to their work areas and explain to me what was going on with my foundation and what they were doing to correct my issues. Its now May 2022, we've had at least 2 major rains that would have caused a flooding event in my basement, and we are completely dry. I couldn't be happier with the results.

Overall a disappointment. We have a very large remodel planned for our home, in Bristoll, TN…read more Rather than contract the whole project, we wanted to see how Home Pros would do on a small portion. So we first contracted to have the pop corn ceiling removed. The people doing the sheet rock work were lighting fast, but attention to detail was, in our opinion lacking, leaving us with electrical boxes for lights partially covered over, sloppy edges at wall lines, etc. That led to several days of different workers arriving to correct problems that had to be addressed from earlier work. While the young men doing the work were personable, managing a project from a distance via, for the most part phone conversations, and the continual change of workers was frustrating. With the majority of the project done, we simply paid the remainder of our contract and asked them to leave. We will finish the project ourselves as we have substantial construction experience. While we have no doubt this job would have eventually been completed, it is our opinion that this company has grown too fast and the problem is systemic and rests with management taking on more work than they can handle. We would suggest daily onsite visits by the project manager to supervise the persons doing the work would be helpful. Having the persons making mistakes correct their mistakes would also be beneficial. As it is, poor quality work is being rewarded as it has no consequence. Finally providing workers with all the tools or equipment they need before arriving on the job would increase efficiency. The end result in our case is Home Pros left an estimated $50,000 worth of additional work on the table.
