Am... am I missing something? I don't understand the appeal of this shop. I didn't find any plants that were especially trendy - and the couple that I did find were so absurdly overpriced (and not the best quality) that I wouldn't purchase from here anyway. On top of that, I had to swat fungus gnats away multiple times, and I saw a number of plants that looked like they had browning or rotting leaves. I love to support local, but I couldn't buy anything from here and feel good about it. I had been so excited to visit this shop and spend on some fabulous additions to my plant collection, but was so disheartened with what was available and just ended up leaving without purchasing anything. Ugh. I'm giving this shop 2 stars instead of just 1 because I did ask the employee there a couple questions and she was generally helpful. read more

What a cute shop!! If you're a cactus lover, this place is for you-- they have some very large beauties! I would have scooped them up, but my plant had to be carry-on size to fit in my suitcase as I was just visiting the area. They have a nice variety of houseplants and accessories. I really loved their planter selection! A lot of options I haven't seen elsewhere for a reasonable price. I decided on a Zz and small terracotta colored pot; I will say, she's a beauty! I went in with absolutely no idea what I was looking for as a first time plant owner. The young lady behind the counter was super helpful and attentive and guided me towards the right plant. This is a gem of a plant store recently moved from Eastwood location to Erie Boulevard across the parking lot from Tully's. This is the most eclectic plant shop I know of in the Syracuse area. It is so tranquil and inviting, I just strolled amongst the plants and inhaled the namaste of it all. Friendly staff/owners let you take it all in. Plants range from less than $10 to $700 plus that I saw, depending on the size and rarity. I love they have a good selection of carnivorous plants, and scored a hanging Pitcher plant to join my venous fly plants. $24.99 I thought was a good price considering the size and number of healthy pitchers. These plants aren't for the faint hearted, they do consume anything they can lure in with their bait. They can live with just sunlight and rain water as well. Check out was quick, knowledgeable, and friendly. Add them to your Christmas shopping go to , great for those hard to buy for unique plants and gifts! I would be thrilled with a GC as well! Recommended to me by my niece. I'm a picky botanist. Loved the selection. Young lady was VERY knowledgeable. Superb pot selection. Excellent surprisingly well priced, numerous hanging plants. Found plants I wanted to order online but would have had to wait for warmer weather. Unlike some reviews, NO PESTS, and I've been an exterminator. Great selection. Not a single unhealthy plant today. If you see something unhealthy, or pests, tell them!!! Don't just WHINE. You won't find these plants ANYWHERE ELSE locally. (Going back tomorrow when I have more time!) Love love that this place and the fact that it's so close to my house! Staff is great and is always so willing to help with any plant care and recommendations. I've had problems with gnats buying plants from other stores, but never had that issue here. They have lots of options (bright light, low light). Prices range from cheap to more expensive (bigger plants). Great place to come get a plant!! read more

This place has a lot of lovely indoor plants. One of the better selections in the area. You can definitely find something great here. However, after moving to the new location the shop has less of a cozy and small shop vibe. The previous place had better ambiance and more small items. With the bulk inventory it seems as though the prices have gone significantly up as well. Pot selection is limited to basic clay pots in different colors. Just be careful with what you get here, because they DO have fungus gnats. Plan accordingly. read more

SO glad we discovered this magical shop! As soon as we walked in we were in awe of the beautiful plants everywhere and the gorgeous colors and shades of green - wow!! This nursery was recommended to me by my co-worker (who is a Certified Plant Nerd). I was in the market for a replacement for a birds nest fern that unfortunately died. While Found Things didn't have one in stock, I was able to pick up an adorable pothos plant that was perfect for my office. The staff person was very nice and answered all my questions. The prices were probably a little higher than other stores, but honestly, I'd rather pay a little more for something from a local business than from Walmart or Home Depot. 10/10 will come back again! read more

Enjoyed spending my Christmas gift certificate and then some from my son and daughter-in-law here. Woman who waited on me was very knowledgeable about all the plants I was interested in, friendly, patient and she helped to carry to my car:) I brought a couple of flower pots with me and would suggest bring your own pots, especially if they have sentimental value to you. Admittedly, I don't have a very green thumb. In fact, I first came to this shop as a Hail Mary because my succulents (purchased elsewhere) were dying and all the Googling in the world wasn't going to save them. The owner helped me repot them (into an adorable pot I picked from her stock) and gave me advice on how to care for them. While I don't yet have the confidence to expand my own garden, I have been back a couple of times to pick up presents for other people. (The recipients of my gifts are always delighted.) The store is stunning, the owners are friendly, and there is quite a nice selection of different plants. I highly recommend a visit here, even if only to surround yourself with nature for a couple of minutes. read more

After selling me a seemingly healthy plant, I noticed it began to quickly decline in my care. When I check the roots, I noticed some of the plant wasn't rooted at all - just cuttings, and the other roots were less than an inch long and barely established. This is not the first time I've had issues with the store as a plant I bought previously had a mesh plug around it. Sarah's customer service is awful and didn't care about the issues. I would expect much more for the price and definitely will support someone else. read more
