The attendant had to set up twice because the cocktail hour and dinner were in two separate spaces. I spoke with Mitch, and he didn't have a problem with two set ups. They were very accommodating, punctual, and professional. The attendant was wearing a suit and tie - dressed for the wedding. They were relatively easily reachable via phone and email. All the guests at my wedding had an amazing time! They all said they had so much fun! The photo booth was such a BIG hit! Many of the creative people took advantage and made stories with their four photos. There was a line at the booth every time I looked over. There were plenty of props to choose from. Photo booths are a great way to entertain your guests. I also purchased a photo guest book. Where they can tape their strip in the book and write something nice or silly. One downside was there weren't enough pages in the book so a lot of people didn't get to write their share. So many of the strips were placed in the inside pocket of the book, which was fine. I still enjoyed all the silly pictures.

Then communication stopped entirely for weeks to months, despite multiple documented follow-ups via text, call, and email. When they finally responded, they said our main contact had gone on leave, but provided no apology or explanation on why there wasn't a better hand off for customer experience. After further delay, they arbitrarily doubled the proposal (excluding add-ons we agreed to), and offered no clear justification beyond a minor increase in stage size. This happened less than 50 days before our wedding, causing unnecessary stress and leaving us exposed to last-minute price gouging from other vendors. The exact opposite experience any couple preparing for their special day should have. We raised our concerns directly with Revel leadership and gave them every opportunity to explain or take responsibility instead of blaming their employees. They never responded. For a company that markets itself as premium, the lack of communication, professionalism, and accountability was appalling. It felt like a bait-and-switch targeting clients with less business acumen who would not question the changes. Go anywhere else.

We worked closely with Laurie & Megan to create a vision board and proposal. At first, my husband and I were completely lost about what we wanted (Traditional? Art Deco? No clue). Laurie & Megan spent hours of their time getting to know us and our taste, and brought their expertise to design a wedding that was beyond our imagination - contemporary, chic, and sexy, which perfectly suited our venue and black tie event. They also found creative ways to also stick to our budget, which is unheard of these days with weddings, and they delivered everything we asked for and more. Our wedding happened to fall on Lollapalooza weekend, which Revel was also working. The photo was taken at our friends' wedding reception at the Art Institute of Chicago. Snapbooth had their photo booth set up next to the Chicago Stock Exchange Trading Room, inside the museum. There was a printer so we could get a hard copy and we were able to download two high-resolution versions of the photo -- with and without the event name and date border. We've taken tons of photo booth pics over the years, but none as good as Snapbooth's. I didn't think a photo booth could generate such excellent quality. It actually rivals professional photos from our own wedding.

We loved getting to pick our colors (the selection wasn't huge, but there were still some really pretty options), and then actually working with the molten glass was so cool. The process of dipping the rod into the furnace, gathering the glass, shaping it, and then blowing it into a bowl was fascinating and surprisingly hands-on. The instructors guided us through each step, helping with timing and technique while still letting us feel involved in creating our piece. It made for such a unique and fun date night, and we both left feeling like we learned something new. One of the best parts is that you end up with a beautiful, functional bowl that you can actually use at home, which makes the experience even more special. The only small surprise was that you have to wait about 5 days to pick up your finished piece while it cools properly, but that's understandable given the process.
