Our first conversation with Mitch was straightforward, very professional, and there weren't any hidden fees! We tried several other rentals beforehand and after the hidden fees were about double the price they were posted for, they didn't have the best communication and sometimes even rude owners. Glad to say that wasn't the case with Trifecta. Mitch was super helpful. The delivery fee included setup and a walk through explaining all the ins and outs (every RV is different). The tanks were filled, it was clean, ready for us to enjoy our trip, and perfect for our needs. Will 100% rent from them again if/when in need of an RV. Left some cash as a tip which he offered to send back to us because we didn't leave a note explaining it was for him. Super honest. Awesome experience!

I made the reservation with Bill back in September 2014 and he took a non refundable $850.00 deposit for our trip in May 2015. Bill was very personable and friendly. A week prior to the trip I called Bill and completed the rest of the paperwork and let him know when to expect us in Idaho Falls. We kept in contact during the trip up from Phoenix to Idaho Falls since he needed to be onsite when we arrived. He rents space from Budget Rentals to store his RV's and he let us park our personal vehicle on site for free! When we met Bill he was excited to see us and showed us to our rental. The rental was extremely clean inside and out. We spent approximately one hour going through the details of operating the RV and physically performing the operations so we knew exactly how everything worked. Since we had never used an RV prior, this was a great tutorial. We were having an excellent time until one evening the house battery went dead and at the same time the slide outs to the bedroom would not close in order to drive. Luckily, my parents were also in Yellowstone with a car because there was no phone service at our campground. Once I was able to contact Bill, he gave me several different directions, but nothing worked. I picked up a new house battery but it did not solve the issue of the slide outs. I spoke to the mechanics at one of the Yellowstone villages and they said they could come out and try to get the slides back in. Bill told me to do whatever it took to get back on the road and he would pay for all of the expenses. The mechanics got the slides back in and everyone was happy. Unfortunately, we missed our kayak trip due to the issues but we were able to reschedule for the next day and Bill paid for the extra night at our campground. He felt really bad regarding our experience and wanted to help. When we returned the RV, we filled it up with gas and propane, cleaned the inside, and washed the outside. I spoke to Bill and he was ready to come down and reimburse us for the battery, extra campground night, and mechanic services, but I told him we were already on our way back to Phoenix. The next day, I received an email that not only would he be crediting our credit card for the items listed in the previous paragraph, but crediting us for the extra mileage we added to the RV and "incidentals". I sincerely believe that Bill just wanted us to have a good time and did everything in his power to do so.

We had a terrible experience with the customer service at this RV park…read more We had a reservation, but when we got there, there was no one at the office to check in. There was a sign saying to call if they weren't there. So we tried calling on three of our cell phones. No one answered. We waited for 15 minutes and finally decided to just find an empty spot and come back to the office in a bit (hoping someone would show up). Well as soon as we start to park, someone comes up on a golf cart and starts yelling at us. I don't mean politely asking us what we're doing, full on yelling. We explain that no one was at the office and the owner rudely says that there's a sign telling you to call. We explain that we did call several times and no one answered. She then checks her phone and gets kind of embarrassed, realizing she ignored our calls. She got nicer at this point and told us what spot we were in, but it was too late for me. Even if you didn't know what someone is doing, you could be polite about it. The RV park itself is fine but nothing special. The WiFi is awful, so don't expect to really be able to do anything on it. I would never recommend staying here because of the terrible management/customer service and bad check in process.

The owner, Maryann, is so accommodating and gracious. She escorted me to my site, made sure the hook ups were working and that I was lined up properly for my slide. She even delivered a UPS delivery to my RV! The owners are currently making a number of upgrades to the park and I look forward to seeing the changes when I come through the area again next year. I'll definitely be staying here again. Had excellent cell signals with both Verizon and AT&T. The park does offer complimentary Wifi that is good for checking email and Internet browsing, but as I enjoy streaming movies and music I used my own hot spot connections. Again, this is a great spot to stay a night or longer for an extended stay!

I purchased a new Winnebago from this dealership in March. As I write this review in late August,…read moreit remains on a service lot. It's been there for a better part of the summer. I've never been able to use it, in fact, I don't know when it will be returned. To make a very long story short, Smith RV lied about the age of the vehicle. As a result, it's in service with extensive weather damage. Work is currently being done by another Winnebago dealer in Boise. They've replaced everything from the automatic jack to the lower half of the slide-out. Smith RV is completely MIA. When I initially contacted Winnebago and found out about the age of the vehicle, I confronted the General Manager. Her immediate response was "it's not illegal." To underscore that point, she restated it several times. This was witnessed by a passenger in my vehicle. The call ended with a promise to follow-up, but I never heard from Smith RV again. From that point forward, the GM wouldn't accept or return my phone calls. Unfortunately, it doesn't end there. The servicing dealer discovered two unsecured batteries in a metal storage bin with the propane tanks. The batteries were installed by Smith as part of an upgrade package. According to the tech, they could've easily tilted, sparked, and caused an explosion. The camper is designed for off-road use, so this is a strong possibility. For that reason, it's not even road worthy. At this point, I don't expect Smith RV to act with any level of integrity. Actions up to this point dictate otherwise. I'm writing this review as a warning to other consumers. It's unacceptable that Smith lied about the age of the Winnebago. It's unconscionable that they then refused to help in any way. It's egregious that they put my life at risk. Smith RV isn't just dishonest, they're reckless. "It's not illegal" is a pretty low bar for any business. When businesses set that standard, consumers get hurt - emotionally, financially, and physically. I'm fortunate the latter didn't happen, but it was a definite possibility.

What I object to is the cost of having one of their RVs parked and set up. The cost should have been about $250, to be fair, and that should have included driving it to West Yellowstone, from Idaho Falls, a full set up of the RV (Making all connections and firing up the heater etc). Unfortunately the heater was not set up or started, and if my friends had not been there to watch over their set up crew, the set up person would have driven off without doing anything. This was at a charged cost of $425, which considering the one way drive from Idaho Falls, the few connections required, nothing more than "financial rape" which has left an overall sourness in the experience. We drove the rig back after completely disconnecting and cleaning it, and after re-filling the RV and propane. So to be clear the $425 charge was for one way and set up from Idaho Falls to 5 miles outside West Yellowstone, some 119 or so miles. So for those who intend to fly in and have these folks set you up, beware of what I consider to being taken advantage of and be sure to insist that EVERYTHING IS OPERATIONAL BEFORE THEY LEAVE. If it were not for this fact I would have given a higher rating.

The unit looked brand new, was clean and very comfortable. It fit our needs perfectly. This was our third time to rent an RV and was definitely our best experience.
