I asked for a '20s-style bob, and she did a thorough consultation before getting started. While I was waiting, Fred noticed I was tired and actually let me relax for a few minutes in one of the massage chairs, which I thought was really thoughtful. It's a family-run business, and you can really feel that warm atmosphere. His wife was there, I met his daughter, and even their beautiful dog Ginger made the place feel extra welcoming. My hair was damaged and I didn't really have a good cut so It has been a journey but I have to say that my hair now has a great style for my face and is so healthy. My friend took me across the street to Salon Gerard to fix it, and despite me not having an appointment, Chenelle stayed late to trim my hair to fix the unevenness and cliffs and expertly calmed me down as I was still in shock. I really miss my long hair, but Chenelle styled it so well that I was not completely distraught and even gave me tips on how to preserve the blowout. She's not only highly talented as a stylist but also incredibly empathetic and reassuring in stressful situations. I would recommend her to everyone.
