There is truly a lot to like about Forward. Dr. Nick and the Care Team are very friendly healthcare professionals. The clinic office looks futuristic, minimalist, and very clean. The way it operates feels very efficient, yet one will not feel rushed at all. When my wife and I arrived for my first visit, we were greeted and offered water (regular or sparkling). There was no waiting. I was assisted by the advisor with check-in using the tablet and then I got on a very modern scale/scanner that took measurements and my vital signs. Inside one of the exam rooms, my blood pressure was taken and blood drawn. Blood draw was done well and I was promptly offered healthy snacks, since I had to fast before the visit. After a few minutes, Dr. Nick came and we talked about my history and health goals. The discussion was transcribed real-time and all my pertinent health data was displayed on a large display. We thoroughly discussed my lab results, which came back surprisingly quick (not days like in a regular doctor's office). Upon his advice, I decided to get a couple of vaccines that day and authorized my genetics testing, which will take about a week or so for the results. These were included with the membership. By the end of the visit, I walked away feeling empowered about my health. The easy-to-use Forward app shows all my Forward health results, goals, and plans. A few days after my visit, I felt that my old Fitbit Surge watch was uncomfortable to wear for tracking sleep, so I messaged the Care Team via the Forward App. Almost instantly, the Team responded and within minutes suggested options at no additional cost. I chose the Nokia Steel HR and it was delivered to me within a few days. It is actually better than my old Fitbit! Dr. Nick and the Care Team also messaged me a couple of other times regarding test results. Messaging with the Care Team is simple, quick, and easy! Because of my new health goals and plans, the 24/7 accessible Forward Care Team, the Forward App and my new health/fitness watch, I feel that my well-being is now top priority. At face value, you would think forward is a great service. However, after being a member for over 2 years. I have to say there are few benefits to their offering, and it can end up costing you a lot of money! (Lost nearly $800 so far, and potentially a lot more when my x-ray bill comes.) I'll start with the POSITIVES (I'm trying hard here): - When you get an appointment, there's no waiting and you get in and out fast! - When the app is working, you get answers to any questions within 48 to 72 hours - Friendly staff - Free protein bars, water, and sparkling water during your visit. - You don't pay for blood work, but there are certain figures they do not test for. The NEGATIVES: - You have to do more work evaluating their recommendations/referrals to specialists, because while they say they handle the insurance and finding providers in your insurance network, THEY DON'T! So, expect to do this yourself otherwise you'll be paying huge sums of money for their mistakes. My prior doctors never made this mistake, and it has cost me dearly. Here I come small claims court if they don't come back to me with a remedy soon. - It's pretty difficult to get an appointment, and you have to book at least a month in advance. - The app is horrible, the user experience and interface is so bad. The app is glitchy, filed with bugs, crashes, and they barely ever update it. You have to reinstall the app often. - If you need to see your doctor in a timely manner, good luck! My prior primary doctor made exceptions based on what was going on. Forward starts to feel like an assembly line and you realize you're just a number. - Your visits are with a nurse, and you rarely ever see your doctor. - The doctors change often, so no building a relationship or seeing the same person. This is a reflection of the company. Why don't the doctors stay with the company? - While they claim to have advanced technology, they barely use it and they double check the information with traditional devices i.e. checking your heart rate. read more

I had great hopes for Forward, yet, I was a bit hesitant. Could this be too good to be true? $99 and you have access to a doctor for an hour during your visit? That same $99 allows you as many doctor visits as you wish? They work out a comprehensive plan with you to work on your health issues AND provide a plan to not only improve your health but to prevent certain health issues you could be predisposed to or be simply heading towards? WOW!!! Finally, someone I could not only address my concerns with but who would explain and educate me on my health. This is the answer I've been waiting for! Although I tried to understand Forward's goals on a phone conversation I still wasn't clear about what they were really offering. I thought I book my first visit and do the preliminary blood work and other initial evaluations of my health when I had developed a cold issue that wasn't going away thinking this would be a good time to try their services (even though to "try" their services you have to buy their services for 6 months, if you want to really understand what they offer. Ludicrous). It's really unfortunate that so many businesses today want you to commit to something before you even know what you are committing to. This subscription based society we are heading into is absurd. The blood work was very basic. There was no creating a comprehensive plan for my health goals or concerns. When I addressed my "cold" concern and how it had not been improving over the course of a month, I was met with a dismissive remark to take a decongestant, although I had been having seemingly chronic issues. I also wanted to discuss other health concerns but was brushed off. The doctor seemed to be more interested in showing me how the high tech mega large screen worked in the room which was nothing like an examination room. In fact, isn't it a bit strange that if you can arrange for unlimited visits why doesn't the reception room have more than 2 chairs and why are those chairs empty? When I asked who's brainchild this was and why, I was told it was some anonymous person's idea to open the company due to his brother's heart attack. This company seems to be run by smoke and mirrors everywhere you look. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the high tech style of the place was eye-candy displayed like the crown jewel. What does that have to do with creating achieving health goals? I came in there with questions about my health issues and concerns that was paid no mind as if I was in the wrong place to discuss such things. Also, preventative health care is NOT what this is. The bottom line, behind the smoke and mirrors, this is a company not unlike all the other medical companies out there who just want to make a quick buck off you. It's too bad because we NEED preventative health care desperately so we can PREVENT serious illnesses. I'll tell you what you get for your subscription: very basic blood test (any dr. you visit can and will arrange for this. It's standard at any dr.'s office and possibly more comprehensive). You get a bottle of free water. You also get a snack to break your fast for the blood test. And after they make sure you are on their app and you've connected to Apple's walking step app your hour is up and you're all done! That's it!! If you try to be treated for an illness you will be told you have to wait multiple weeks to see a doctor (hello Urgent Care) or, like me who tried to combine the initial visit (so they can start your subscription clock) with an actual visit, you'll be sent home with advice to take a decongestant (even though you had already tried that and it didn't work hence the doctor consultation) and you'll be ignored if you are concerned about there being underlying issues that may need to be addressed. Oh! and I was told emphatically that supplements are a waste of money. read more

I visited Forward with my husband recently, soon after he became a member. It was his first doctor visit with them and we were so impressed by the entire experience! For starters, the body scan that they do at the beginning of the appointment is super high tech and feels very futuristic. Not only that, but it also gathers a great deal of info for the patient. The nurse who took my husband's blood samples was incredibly friendly and made him feel at ease, despite the discomfort of needles. She then offered a snack (because he'd been fasting for 12 hours). They also offered us sparkling and flat water. Very high end and unlike a typical doctor visit. The highlight, of course, was the time spent with the doctor. We didn't feel rushed at any point. The questions asked by the doctor were so thorough and he showed that he truly cared about my husband's wellbeing- not just physical, but also emotional. I loved that meditating was one of the recommendations, because this tells me that the care at Forward is wholesome. Another favorite was that the doctor preferred natural treatments to ailments such as diabetes and high cholesterol. Though, thankfully, my husband is in great health and doesn't need medication. The emphasis on preventive care is strong at Forward. The entire visit was very pleasant and very much worth the monthly membership fee. Thanks, Forward team, for doing medicine right! read more

Wow. I have had a consistent and pervasive fear of the medical industry as it's been my entire life. Doctor's are incentivized to not solve problems, but instead, maintain problems for repeat visits. They are also incentivized to prescribe medications that might have sides that are worse than the problem they suppress. Forward has figured out how to turn the tables. With a subscription model, doctors are incentivized to keep you healthy and alive as long as possible to continue the monthly subscription. Doctor Tang was incredible. He's very knowledgeable about men's health and he made me feel extraordinary comfortable. In fact, the whole place is about making you feel comfortable in an otherwise uncomfortable place. I strongly recommend to my friends and family to drop their primary care physicians and try Forward. They won't go back and I don't think you will either. These people are going to make great changes to this broken and dangerous industry. read more

My 1st visit was good but I honestly expected more. The body scanner only takes your heart rate, body yemp, hiegt and weight body mass etc. It doesent rotate as is shown on advertisement, there was no cancer screening and minimal bloos test. Certain test that ibwas interested i had a separate cost. No ultra sounds, xrays etc.. Do now that I had my onitial visit, Theres really no need to go back. If there is an health issue, then Forward medical will refer you to you primary physician so whats the actual point? So now Im gonna have my account debited $189 a month. I was unaware that there is an 6 month mandatory membership.. So think twice before signing up, especially if you already have insurance. read more

If you think about what your last doctor visit looked like, and compare it to a visit you may have had 10, or even 20 years ago, I think it's fair to say that not much was different! Forward it is trying to change that I have been very impressed with my baseline visit. It's clear that they are all about patient experience (e.g., clean / modern decor, friendly and competent team, high tech everywhere, great snacks / VOSS water / San Pellegrino)! They have the latest gadgets, and it's nice to have access to everything on the app (e.g., appointments, plans, lab results, chats)! So they seem to off to a strong start, and I will definitely recommend them to my friends. I've selected Dr. Nate Favini as my primary care giver, and he's been great so far. I'm looking forward to see how things develop over time, and will likely come and edit this review as things develop! read more

This revolutionary concept involves state of the art technology with medicine in a concierge-type of service. No wait whatsoever at the clinic, instant response by skilled professionals online via an easy to use app and hours of attentive professional medical consultation to establish a health/medical plan. During an injury when I needed help, they ended my access to the app and service in the middle of a conversation 1.5 days before the end of my membership and would not regrant access. I stumbled upon Forward and wasn't sure how it would be different from my current primary care doc that I used to see once a year - sometimes even less. I could not have been more wrong about my skepticism. The depth and quality of their care was unbelievable compared to an industry that's bursting at the seams. They truly put the buzz word "preventative care" to practice in a way that I personally have yet to see in our current reactive healthcare system. I have signed up for two ultra marathons next year after struggling through some orthopedic-related injuries this past year. I'm relatively fit, healthy, in tune with nutrition, and honestly wasn't sure how applicable the service would be to someone like me. I was completely blown away by my Baseline visit! From the moment I walked in (and was offered Pellegrino) I knew this would be a different experience. Everything is streamlined and super fast, the staff was incredibly friendly, and I must've waited all of 15 seconds before heading to the exam room. Not only did I get a full hour with my doctor and go through all my body systems head-to-toe to check things like my heart, liver, and kidney function, but we talked about my training, nutrition, sleep issues, and even stress management, which I've never been asked by any doctor. I'm recently getting over an injury and was wearing one of my fitness tracking sensors that syncs with their app on a trail run this past weekend. I was pleasantly surprised to see a message from my personal care team (available 24/7) since I ran a bit more than I'm supposed to at the moment. They asked how my legs were doing with the increased mileage...they really care! They are at the forefront of both incorporating the most advanced technologies and incorporating the latest medical literature into the practice. I looked into Forward, and their ideas of proactive medicine, instead of reactive medicine really got me intrigued. That, combined with a modern approach, and most of all, a monthly membership that covers not-so basic lab tests, prescriptions, various health tracking gadgets, 24/7 access and more. Today was my first visit for baseline appointment. I was scheduled for 1pm, but was told I could come by earlier for my blood test so I could get lunch before my actual appointment, since you have to fast for blood test. The office is located in the Century city mall, 2 doors down from the Apple store. You are greeted by a very friendly staff member who walks you through checking yourself in on a tablet, then step in front of scanner that will measure, weight you (accurately even with your clothes on), take your blood pressure, heart rate, etc... Then a very nice nurse, I believe her name was Andrea, will find your best vein with a scanner, and draw your blood, painlessly (trust me if I tell you it was painless, because I'm a complete chicken, and been known to pass out). When it was time for the actual appointment, no weird hospital gown. Ladies, you get Brooks running shorts and Lululemon tank top. My doctor was Nate Favini. He was great, super friendly, thorough. They have a lab on site, so by the time I met with the doctor, the results of my blood test were back. He spent over an hour going over the results and asking me about any ache, pain (physical and mental), family history, genetic, etc... then took all the info and picked a few things to work on. Everything is displayed on a screen in front of you and will be sync to an app by the end of the day. I dread going to the doctor but this is by far, the best experience I've ever had. I felt comfortable, left with a game plan I feel good about and a fitness / sleep tracker (included in your membership). You can schedule a visit before committing to anything. I'm glad I signed up. They advise to have insurance in case they need to refer you to a specialist in your network. I understand it might not be for everyone but it works for me. read more

Was having an ok experience until today. I was 15 min late for my appointment coming from work in traffic. Realizing I was running late, I notified the branch ahead of time. They said no problem; however, as soon as I arrived the staff refused to see me saying I was late. I am very reasonable, and I recognize that I was late, and was honestly expecting them to say they couldn't accommodate me, but they didn't until I had gotten all the way there. If I had known I would be turned away I would not have continued to make my way there, and simply made an appointment for another day. They could have easily told me they were not going to be able to see me, and I would have understood. Pretty sad and ironic you're paying a premium monthly fee just to get turned away at the door even though you have an appointment. This is not concierge medicine. Also, no patients were coming in after me to be seen so they weren't busy at all! Staff at this location today were rude and worthless at best. They had the gall to chat people up outside to keep selling memberships, yet they couldn't see me for my appointment? I'm officially cancelling my membership today after being a loyal customer. Do yourself a favor, save the money and try a real concierge med service like WorldClinic who actually care about their patients. read more

Had my first baseline visit @ Forward's new facility in the Century City mall. After a very thorough visit and exam, I really believe that Forward represents the future of primary care. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and for the geek in me, the electronics (quick vital scan, massive touch LCD screen used by the physician, instantaneous off-site transcription, integration of my existing wearables + going home with a new blood pressure monitor and access to all of my data and records via their iPhone app) are truly amazing. The service might not be for everyone. Rather than using insurance and paying a co-pay, Forward works on a monthly subscription and they don't take insurance, but your monthly covers visits, basic lab work, a monitoring device, basic vaccines, and round the clock access to their medical team. On a final note, I was assigned Dr. Nick who was a very intelligent, considerate and thoughtful primary care doc, he spent over an hour with me going through all lab work (that was done there at their office when I arrived) and formulating a proactive treatment plan. Needless to say I'm a huge fan of the entire experience. read more

I was definitely surprised and intrigued wHen I arrived for my appointment. It was like checking into a 5 Star location. Greeted and explained the check in process. Greeted by two nursing staff who guided me to my room. Ask questions to help me feel comfortable. When my doctor came in we went thru a comprehensive medical exam, gave me recommendations in real time. After leaving I felt informed and pleased. Love this Location!! The two gentlemen Brent and Alex were AWESOME! They were very sweet and made me feel valued and cared for. They offered my husband and I water and answered every question we had with a smile. Alex even helped calm my baby while I did my body scan! My doctor was very knowledgeable from a prescription shampoo that was recommended to what may be causing my skin to flake. Wow. I rarely feel so compelled to write a review of a place but after reading this I think it is NECESSARY. Forward is as good as it gets when it comes to healthcare these days and I don't say that lightly. In fact, most of the time I say the "system" is so broken it has nothing to do with health or care... it is pure profit. Forward is different and if you take the time to research how the company was founded, you'll see why. As for my own experience, I suffer from several serious chronic diseases and I've spent months of every year of my young life in the hospital and in and out of doctors' offices. Additionally both of my parents are physicians and I've worked in the medical field. It is basically all I know. Therefore I feel I'm speaking from a reasonable amount of experience when I say, to those of you that think this is bad, you have no idea what you're talking about, and I hope you never do. I don't mean that as an insult it is just a fact. I've seen the good the bad and the ugly and I'm certain Forward only exemplifies the good. These doctors and the staff CARE. They are responsive. They try to troubleshoot your problems for you. They take your feedback into account. Not to mention they are accessible, they refer you to specialists in a timely manner and they stay on top of your issues. Most of you probably think that's normal. It is not. They have picked up things in radiology reports that the specialist I saw didn't mention. THAT NEVER HAPPENS. I could go on forever. FYI, I see Dr. Melissa Mueller at Century City, and I have also had contact with her colleagues there. They are as good as it gets. As I said, I don't write reviews or recommend things or people unless I stand behind it 100%. I'm writing this to help anyone looking for a great physician but might get the wrong impression because, let's face it, some people will always complain about something. My first visit with Forward was AMAZING! From the moment I stepped into the Century City office, I was greeted by a very friendly and informative MA, Emily, that walked me through the process with much patience. She explained each step thoroughly. She then proceeded to do my bloodwork, which I have always dreaded, but it was done painlessly and in just moments. When Dr. Tangchaivang came into the room (literally in about 5 min) he was focused on ME and not rushed. We talked about my health, physically and mentally. Then while discussing my well being, my lab work numbers popped up on the big screen on the wall. I was able to understand them and a plan was discussed. Just so technologically Phenomenal!! As the doctor was giving me advice on diet and exercise, notes were popping up in realtime!! Part of my membership allowed me to choose to get up to date on my vaccines... I hate calling my primary doctor for an appt. because it takes months to get in... With Forward, I can call and have a remote appt. instantaneously and have my medication ready right away at any pharmacy I choose to go to!! I haven't been feeling my best for a while now and I won't qualify for Medicare until sometime next year so I've been looking for a temporary alternative to just getting an update on my vitals and talking to a doctor one to one to discuss what's going on. After deciding to become a Forward member, I immediately requested an appointment but was a bit disappointed when I saw that it was scheduled a month away. I was given a logical explanation of why but my anxiety kicked in and I came very close to canceling my membership until Steven got online with me. I told him my dilemma and he immediately worked on finding a location that could take me in sooner. To my surprise he found a cancellation the very next day and I could not be more pleased. Thank you Steven! Mapquest indicated that the distance between Riverside and Century City was 1 hr and 45 mins. My appointment was at 10:00am and I decided to leave at 7:30am to give myself an additional 45 mins of cushion. With all the shortcuts Siri was giving me, I got to my appointment at 10:35am (which made me 35 mins late). Because I was not driving, I was able to communicate through the App about being stuck in traffic. This gave me a bit of comfort because I was stressing about being late. When I got there the staff was very compassionate telling me they were happy that I made it safe, etc. This was a pleasant experience since I was a ball of nerves not knowing what to expect when I arrived and thinking I was going to be rescheduled. Instead, I was greeted with a smile and concern and immediately assisted with the sign in and then with the scanner. EVERYTHING said here about the modernization, the cleanliness of this facility and the efficiency and graciousness of the staff is true. It's EXACTLY how the video shows it to be. The expediency of the lab results and other tests showed me exactly what I needed to know regarding what's going on with my body today and it reinforced all I've learned in the past (but somehow got side tracked) regarding taking care of myself. I am only adding this driving experience to my review for those coming from the IE who want to visit the Century City location for their first 90 minute baseline appointment. Had I read such a review myself, I probably would have left my house 3 1/2 hrs ahead of time. Although my visit with Dr. Melissa Mueller was exceptional and I feel I got what I came for, this delay cut 35 mins off of my appointment time. I will most likely change my next visit to the Newport Beach location. The beauty of this program is that you can see whichever doctor you want and visit whatever location is available and/or convenient for you at the time. This kind of flexibility works very well for me! As I approach the age next year when I finally qualify for Medicare, finding this new and affordable option of medical care in the interim has given me a sense of peace and serenity. I no longer fear having to one day rush into an ER to find out what's wrong and find out I could have avoided my condition had I only started taking care of my issues earlier. What a relief this is! In my lifetime I've seen alot of technological modernization (some good and some not so good) and I have to say that this new business model of preventive medicine is much appreciated. In February 2018, I underwent genetic testing via Dr. Tang, Forward and Council Labs (genetic testing provider). I received a call from Dr. Tang casually informing me I tested positive for a gene mutation called FAP. FAP is essentially a gene mutation that is a 100% guarantee of developing colon cancer. I was devastated, afraid and shocked. Dr. Tang hustled me off the phone quickly and later, when I was sent the report, I began reviewing. It didn't take me long to discover a warning listed on each page of the report stating that a positive FAP result did not apply to patients that were ethnically Ashkenazi Jews. Since I am Ashkenazi Jewish, I read further and discovered that for Ashkenazi Jews, a positive FAP results was actually a genetic mutation called I1307K which is associated with a 20% increased risk for colon cancer, quite a much better outcome than FAP. I contacted Dr. Tang and Forward and Dr. Tang casually confirmed that I was right, that he had missed that and that I did not actually have FAP therefore after all. He even chuckled about the mix up and never bothered to apologize. Outraged and trust vanquished, I called customer service because I wanted to speak with a higher up about this devastating experience. What if I hadn't scoured the report and missed that? What if I'd gone to a GI doctor and said "my doctor and Council labs diagnosed me with FAP. I'd like to have part of my colon removed as an early preventive measure." Maybe the GI doc would have caught it, but what if not? Dr. Tang had an ethical obligation to read that report more clearly - it's noted on almost all of the 8 pages of the report, but he clearly didn't spend any time reviewing, just took the information at the top of the report and phoned me to give me the incorrect diagnosis. The diagnosis he gave was tantamount to a false colon cancer diagnosis. This could have very easily been medical malpractice. You would think therefore that someone in customer service would assist me with speaking to the head of the company or someone on their leadership team. But oh no. I got stuck speaking to some customer service person who tried to act as an intermediary. I went through a few rounds of that before I demanded to speak with someone from leadership about ensuring policies were going to change and how to rectify my situation (namely I wanted a new doctor and an assurance that I wouldn't go through something this shoddy again). I eventually connected w Daniella Perlroth, head of operations. She started the call defensive / raising her voice, suggesting that maybe I didn't deserve the amazing care of Forward because she'd heard that I'd been making a fuss and being difficult. I was outraged to be treated this way but remained calm and explained the full story to her. I walked her through everything that had happened with this misdiagnosis, how it had emotionally effected me in the short time I mistakenly believed I had FAP and how this was hardly the only issue I had with Forward - I went through other issues I'd had with Dr. Tang and with shoddy customer service of Forward. She finally settled down and listened and then suddenly changed her tone. Became positive and supportive and said I was making sense now and that she regretted all the experiences I had. I explained that I didn't want to drop out yet, I wanted to hang in there and see if this relationship could be salvaged but it would need to be with a new doc and I would need to know that they were going to revisit this issue of my misdiagnosis so that nobody else would have to go through that again. Daniella ensured me that they were changing policy and reviewing and working to fix this issue. She also encouraged me to switch docs to Dr. Nate Favini, who she thought would be a great fit for me. Daniella promised that if any future issues arose, she would be one phone call or one email away and would step in and help. I switched to Dr. Nate per her rec. He was indeed great. Liked him a lot, felt really comfortable. And guess what? When I tried to make a follow up visit eight weeks later, I was told that Dr. Nate was leaving the LA office and moving up to the SF office and therefore couldn't be my doc anymore. After all that I had been through, not only was I now going to have to start over with a third doc in five months, but nobody from Forward, including Dr. Nate, had bothered to let me know. I tried to reach Daniella to discuss my continued frustration but she never wound up returning my calls or my emails. Ignored every last one of them and nearly one week after trying to get in touch with her, I finally heard back from someone on her team that said that Daniella was simply "too busy too respond." I told them I wanted out of obligation and a refund. To their credit, they agreed (I'm sure they were all too happy to get rid of me). Forward is a great concept and has a few on-point aspects of service but overall turned out, IMHO, to be a shoddy disappointment. read more

Had my first visit with Forward yesterday and couldn't be happier. This is how health care should be run rather than sick care which is what we are used to. This was my first visit so had zero complaints and many good surprises. I was impressed at how well organized this new way of having a doctor visit. This appears to be the direction on how to diagnose and treat patients. All info is data based accessible through the forward app. The app tracks all the history and current medical information about a patient. The patient will have real time access and not forgetting what the doctor advised. Also the app reminds patient of preventive measures to conditions they may be at risk. I like the whole concept. Just have to give it more time to give a fairer assessment of the consistency of medical attention. So far five stars and unless they disappoint cannot give anything less. Unfortunately I was never able to visit this office; this review is for Forward as a whole. My visits were rescheduled 3 times without my consent, each further back than the last. Because of this, despite having paid the full fee, I was unable to get my initial baseline visit. Then Covid happened and understandably they weren't having any patients in the office. So I contact saying I'm having a UTI, a frequent thing that frankly I'm used to and I asked if they could let me chat with a doctor. You know, one of the main selling points of the service. I'm then informed that this is "illegal" despite the fact that telehealth exists oh and also so does Forward At Home-- the solution for literally the exact thing I was asking about. When I pressed for a refund they continued to gaslight me, and also provided plenty of excuses for calling me the entirely wrong name. I'm sure the actual doctors are lovely but this is nothing more than a Silicon Valley Scumbag trying to make a quick buck before medicine gets socialized. Frankly I'd be surprised if any real, legitimate person has ever managed to get an appointment. read more

This is healthcare as it should be. After signing up, I scheduled my baseline visit and was blown away. The office was sleek and the technology felt like something out of Star Trek. Not to mention it was super easy and luxurious - fancy clothes instead of a paper gown, no need to awkwardly hand someone a urine sample (it magically disappears into an opening in the wall), etc. Beyond all the fancy trappings, it was by far the most detailed and extensive doctor's visit I've ever had. I went through everything with Dr. Tang, and I mean everything, and actually developed a plan of action to deal with lingering health issues I didn't realize I had. I was sent home with a blood pressure monitor and after a couple months we got my blood pressure under control totally naturally. It's not a cheap service, but honestly for less than the price of an Equinox membership I've taken steps towards being more responsible for my overall health. Seems worth it to me. read more

Forward is on time, super friendly and attentive. The baseline was thorough and cutting edge in terms of the tools and the modern environment. They didn't waste time or have any redundant questions. It felt like a really nice home theater and not clinical at all. the receptionist, tech and dr. were all very accommodating, offered me water and made sure i was comfortable. Dra. Melissa was very nice and calm while introducing me to this new concept of preventive health. The place is soo cool that I missed the entrance twice (looks like a tech spa from outside). I was late, but received a call to confirm that I was going. I had to fill a compliance form and in 2 minutes I was measuring all my body through a cool 3D body scan. From that they took a sample of my blood and 10 minutes later Dra. Melissa was explaining everything about my health. The app is also very cool and keeps track of everything that happens in my life (is conectes to my Apple Watch and they gave me a instrument to take home to measure my blood pressure daily). I even connected my genetics exam (23andme) and my next meeting with my doctor to discuss the results is already being schedule. This is definitely a new approach to medicine combining technology and great Doctors, a combination that I really believe. read more

No real value to this service. I was a member and experienced the service to be basic not wort the high fee for the membership. This medical service is not backed by medical insurances and it din not take me long to see why. Forward service failed to follow thru with a basic service when asked for my insurance card to to request my insurance to send me a blood pressure monitor. The request was supposed be with a Forward Doctors name. I waited for a long time and ask for a follow up but Forward kept giving me costumer lip service, needless to say, I never received it. Their contact process is mediocre and unprofessional when you want to speak with a live person. The Doctors are very young and do no seem to have the experienced that the medical insurances recognized and accept as a medical authority. The overall service a overly priced for the mediocre service they provide. These doctors do not seem to have the exposure to complex medical problems to become proficient when diagnosing something. Due to the fact that medical insurances do not cover their services, any legal complaint brought against them would not hold any legal standing. read more
