As a 30 year insurance company underwriting professional I truly appreciate several things about how John put together a custom program for me and my family. First, he was highly responsive during the process. Also, he listened to what I wanted in a program and then utilized his experience to create a solution that worked for me. And lastly, the program was competitive in price and also in terms of coverage/options/deductibles. He is a very good agent and I highly recommend him. His expertise, experience, and the customer experience he provides is second to none in my experience.

Your agent will have access to subsidiaries of major insurance companies that you can't get insurance through. Often times they offer better rates than what you can find on the local market. They also do all the paperwork, file with your escrow company for home owners insurance, and you pay the agent NOTHING. NOTE: This agent will not proactively look for new/better rates when your insurance is expiring. So make sure you call a month before that time and ask them to research for you. We saved over $500 a year by doing this. There is no loyalty with insurance companies, so do not be afraid to switch year after year if the rates are better.

Therefore, I called around and had the best, most professional, and friendliest customer service from Amie Kim - State Farm insurance in Colombus. She picked up the phone herself as the owner of the agency and gave me by far the cheapest and most comprehensive quote. It was the only office where I got to speak to the actual agent, not their representative, and it was quick and easy. Amie is also an OSU graduate who has been helping students in the area for over ten years. She also has an expansive list of what most landlords and rental offices require, which was super quick. In less than ten minutes, I had what I needed. Highly recommended.

She also provided sound advice on what she would include in her coverage, and it really only cost me a few bucks more a month. This will be the first time I've had a different car insurer, and I haven't had them long enough to say they are the best around, but Amie definitely started me off on the right foot, so for now, I'm very happy.

Instead of offering to raise rates or giving us any warning that this is going to happen, they canceled us. I am definitely switching companies tomorrow. I cannot believe this after such a long relationship. I have paid them so much money.
