Orange spa session.

I do love a visit to get a great pedicure. I always choose gel polish also because it looks so great and lasts. I enjoy my visits here always, and like that, I can earn points for visiting frequently.

Scraped heel

Went here for the first time a day ago and unfortunately, I won't go back. I got the Tangerine pedicure with a gentleman nail stylist and was over scraped on my heels. That and I got burned with the paraffin wax and the hot stones. Paraffin wax: The wax was extremely hot! I mentioned it was hot once the first foot went in and then when he grabbed the bag for the second foot, I thought it would be cooler but no. Got burned again. Hot stones: Stones were way too hot! Again, they burned me. I do not have sensitive skin. I've several great pedicures with hot stones, masks, paraffin wax and more. He just seemed like he didn't care. Still tipped him well as I always do but I won't be back.

Polish peeled completely off the very next day!!!!! WTW

I came here once when they first opened and I received decent service, so I was in the area and decided to stop in on a Saturday afternoon. (June 25, 2016) All I can say good, is my fiancé and I didn't have to wait. I received the Thai pedicure and a manicure for myself. The Pedi/mani was mediocre with a halfway decent massage. The technician didn't even speak one word to me. I picked out a pastel pink Hello Kitty polish, and the explanation I received about the streaky polish is, "It's a hard color to paint!" The very next day the polish started peeling off of my nails! I feel as if I just literally gave $50 away for subpar services. I will drive across town to my regular nail shop, before I ever receive service here again! #disappointed customer

They serve refreshments such as pop, wine, and water. Never a long wait. Nice choices of pedicures to choose from.

Her staff was so sweet and willing to learn. They just opened October 19, 2024. The place is beautifully clean kept up and family run they give you a drink upon sitting down and you have a nice snack to nibble on if needed as a new client. The first time you come you get 20% off as well as a small bottle of lotion. The attention to detail is amazing and I could not speak better about this place.

Review of Eva's Nail Bar - A Highly Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience…read more I visited Eva's Nail Bar expecting a relaxing gel pedicure and a full set of rounded French tip acrylics before an important event. I brought in a photo reference and clearly communicated what I was looking for, both in shape and style. The first technician cut my nails much shorter than I requested. I immediately let him know I wanted them longer, and although I remained polite and clear, he seemed frustrated and eventually passed me off to the owner. Once I was in the owner's chair, things quickly went from disappointing to completely inappropriate. She seemed rushed and did not take the time to confirm my preferences. Without asking, she began doing a dip powder French tip rather than acrylics. When she asked if I wanted a second dip of pink, I said yes, not realizing it would result in a very bright pink base, completely unlike the neutral nude shade I had shown her in the photo. When I respectfully let her know that the color and shape did not match what I had requested, she became visibly irritated and defensive. I asked if the shape could be adjusted and if the color could be corrected. Rather than taking the feedback professionally, she raised her voice and refused. When I asked her why she was yelling, she responded loudly that she was the owner and this was her place of business, as if that justified her behavior. It was clear at that point that she had no regard for basic customer service. She was intentionally making a scene in front of the other clients. What followed was incredibly uncomfortable. She escalated the situation by threatening to call the police if I did not pay, even though I never once said I would not. I was calm and composed throughout, asking for a resolution, not a refund or a confrontation. At one point, another employee, an older gentleman who said he was prior service, apologized to me for how I was being treated. That speaks volumes. After nearly 15 minutes of back and forth, she reluctantly reshaped the nails slightly, but they still did not resemble the look I had requested. I asked if she could at least remove them so I could go elsewhere to have them corrected, and she refused. She told me I could pay another salon to fix them. What should have been a peaceful moment of self-care before an event turned into an embarrassing and stressful situation entirely caused by the owner's lack of professionalism and respect. She did not just mistreat a customer. She embarrassed herself and her staff in the process. And despite all of this, I still tipped, not for the service, but for the time. That is the kind of person I am. I will never return, and I cannot recommend Eva's Nail Bar to anyone looking for a respectful or professional salon experience.

Unprofessional and upsetting -- I left in tears…read more I came in asking for a simple set of square French tips on both my hands and feet. As soon as I sat in the chair and asked about acrylics, the male owner came over and kept explaining the process and price -- repeatedly. He said things like, "You know the pedicure and acrylic is going to be over $100, right?" multiple times. The way he said it made me feel like he didn't think I could afford it. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary. The person doing my nails was rough. He kept filing my skin, and I asked more than once for adjustments, but I felt ignored. I asked them multiple times to fix the shape of my nails and was not at all mean about it. When my fake nail was showing underneath the nail polish I asked for another coat. The owner jumped in and said, "Why didn't you say something before he painted the white?" I replied, "I thought the white would cover it." By this point I had been there for almost 3 hours. By the end of the appointment, I looked at my nails and just broke down. They were bulky, uneven, and just bad. I literally cried as I walked out of the shop. Later that day, I came back with my boyfriend and got a refund. I had to go somewhere else to get my nails redone. At first, I thought my toes were okay -- it was my first time getting a pedicure with acrylic -- but the very next day, they looked like this (photo attached). The acrylic started lifting, there's buildup underneath, and now, not even four days later, they're coming off. I've had to file and fix them myself. This was a bad experience all around. I absolutely do not recommend this nail salon. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Absolutely horrendous.

I already had an appointment for a full set and a pedicure. My pedicure was great. The lady who did it was very nice and did great on my feet. Then I asked for medium length stiletto nails with red to nude ombré. A very basic style. I wish they would have said that my technician wasn't comfortable doing it. She showed me one nail and it was so far from the picture that I just told her to do a basic black instead. She took an hour and a half to give me short ALMOND nails. They are uneven, they have air bubbles, and just look like what I could have done myself. Whoever looked at them at the register knew that it was bad work. I won't be back. If you can't do basic acrylics with a basic nail art. Please state that instead of wasting peoples time and money.

I will do this review by listing the pros and cons from my experience. I got a gel manicure, pedicure, and wanted my eyebrows done. Pros: -Black owned nail salon! -Great location in Hope Mills -Friendly/pleasant staff -Music and TV was entertaining from a customer perspective -Great social media presence. Lots of photos on IG and Facebook. Cons: -Long wait. I called to make an appt and was told to walk-in after 12. I got there at 11:00-- I was not seated until 1:15 and the girl started my service at 1:30. -My nails (toes and fingers) were not shaped. The girl who did my toes cut and filed them and asked me how they looked. Three times I asked her to cut and shape them more. I eventually told her they looked fine because I felt, as the professional, I should not have to tell you if my nails look even or short enough. Another girl did my finger and it was the same deal-they looked even more uneven with the color went on them (photos provided). -The girl who did my nails told me they will always tell people to walk in unless you request a technician if you call to make an appt. -Could not get my brows done because the ONLY person that does brows and lashes was on vacation . My bill was $65. I paid for a gel mani and pedi but felt like I received a polish change. After a 2+ hour wait, I felt like my service took about 35 mins. I would not go back to Upscale. The wait is horrendous and not worth it. Any reputable establishment can tell you about how long you'll wait when they walk in so you can determine if you you have other things you'd like to do with your life or come back. A friend that recommended Upscale said the wait is like that ever time she goes.
