no reviews from me for a while but another 5* one coming up, well actually 4.5* but I erred on the upside with this restaurant as the owner was very friendly.
So.......
I was treated to this place and it really is that good.
The start of your meal was a bit hit and miss, music playing was "Simply the Best~" (Tina Turner), not really the tune to add a touch of ambience but this was replaced by some nice smooth Jazz, a much better choice, though to be fair we were the first in and early at that.
Now to the food...
I started with Salmon Ceviche (Cured fresh salmon, pink peppercorn, baby cress and dill cream fresh) which I shared with my friend. It was fresh, tasty, and well presented; the salmon was one of the best I have had. My friend jumped n and ordered the main for me, thanks Jana, (Glazed Baby Pork Ribs) which were about as tender and tasty as you could get, served with a little basket of fries, again perfectly done while my friend had Gnocchi with wild mushrooms (Parmesan cheese, butternuts squash, rocket and peanuts) which I had a nibble on (delicious). We washed this down with three bottles of a nice dry white to round off a perfect meal though we were so stuffed sadly we couldn't take in the deserts.
