Dinner at yet another Japanese restaurant run by Koreans in the Eastwood/Epping area…read more FOOD My tummy had split feeling about the food here. - The Scallop Aburi sushi ($12.50) was perfectly blow torched which left the centre soft enough to melt in your mouth. The mustard sauce was the perfect sauce accompaniment to the scallops as well. - The broth in the Spicy Miso Ramen ($13.80) was awesomely spicy and left me wanting to keep drinking the soup. The roasted pork with the ramen was a bit tough though which was disappointing. - We ordered a half California Roll for $5 as a special with the ramen but now I wished I hadn't done this. The proportion of rice compared to filling just wasn't right. Too much rice means not enough taste. - Sashimi was ordinary. I'm not sure if it just wasn't as fresh or wasn't cut as well as other places but I've definitely had better. SERVICE Farily busy for a Sunday night. 3 waiters/waitresses running around was clearly not enough that they were rushing and stressing and making silly little mistakes. I'm forgiving though. OVERALL Not bad Japanese food. Behind the bamboo sliding doors are private rooms so it would be a good place for a birthday or larger gathering to eat, drink and be rowdy in true Japanese drinking style!

Honestly, its not a great place to eat especially if youre young or not Korean…read more I've been here on several occasions, both where I called to make the reservation (not Korean) and when a friend of mine (Korean) made the reservation. When I made the reservation: - Told there is a minimum of $35 per person for private room bookings - Oysters in the set menu were FRIED (probably not even delivered on that day) - Grilled fish was grilled to the point where it was inedible When friend made the reservation: - No minimum per person cost - Oysters in set menu were FRESH - Fish was grilled alright. Overall my experience here wasn't great. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone, especially if they are not Korean speakers, as there seems to be some discrimination going on.

We love this place. Totally love…read more Well worth the drive if you are feeling like a bit of a meat fest. We always go as a group of about 9 people and have the buffet menu. Which is basically all you can order and eat from the entire menu for $48.80 Monday to Thursday and $52.80 Friday to Sunday; which is the deluxe option. There is also the standard option that doesn't get you everything from the menu but most things, Monday to Thursday that will cost you $38.80 and from Friday to Sunday it costs you $43.80. The all you can eat buffet goes for 2 hours, so you can order and eat continuously for 2 hours before they pull the plug. They always let you know when you have last orders as well to ensure no mix up. You get plates and plates of everything you ordered and get to cook it yourself on the hot stoves on the table. Please be aware that if you are anything like our guys, they tend to smoke the place out and last time this caused the fire alarms to go off and the firemen to turn up. Not that I was complaining about the perving on the firey's but you get the drift! There is also a set menu you can order from if you prefer not to do the all you can eat option. The staff are lovely and attentive and even after we accidentally set off the fire alarm they always welcome us back with quiet giggles. It can get rather loud at certain points in the evening, however it's well worth it for the food.

We went there a couple of time. Great ambience for groups even small family. The steak, chicken…read moreand seafood were a good quality. The condiments were delicious. Love the Bibimbap and the sauce. We were stuffed. Perhaps entree and 4 dishes of bbq were just a tad a bit too much for a family of three. We just don't like the 1,5% surcharge on credit card. Just prepare to bring your debit card or cash if you don't like the extra charge..
