Originally, I had her and her twin brother bringing their cars back to South Florida for me to do routine maintenance. Then while her car was parked at her apartment, squirrels or rats climbed up and chewed the fuel lines coming from the pump at the tank. With the parts I needed on backorder at the dealership and no junk yard local to Orlando having her vehicle model in it, I was stuck. Auto Tender to the rescue. From the first phone call, to them handing us a safe and running car, I was more than pleased with our experience. They even completed the job under the original estimate price. So for the last 3 years; my daughter's, son's, nephew's, and a few of their friend's cars have all gone to Auto Tender for everything from routine maintenance to big fixes. Anyone who has a son or daughter or whatever attending UCF, can rely on Auto Tender to troubleshoot and fix their vehicles in an affordable and timely manner. My daughter's boyfriend currently has his car there to fix what another shop right at the front entrance of campus failed to fix and actually made worse. Please do your homework as a parent and you'll find Auto Tender at the top of your list. They'll go above and beyond to help you out in every way.

I got there at 11:57pm and told the employee that I'm using that app, it took forever to check me in due to the guy helping me being new (literally his first day) and the process is different when using the car advisor app. I think I finally got checked in at around 12:20ish pm, my car didn't get pull in until after 1pm and idk when it was done but I didn't leave 2:17pm It was instantly busy, everyone had an appointment and apparently all at the same time. When I arrived, they were having trouble with one guys car. One couple had a 10am appointment and were there for over 3 hours! As I was checking out, a customer from the morning came back because the issue wasn't fix and it seemed worse They don't have a lot in stock so they obviously need to order the parts but they seem like they have trouble getting them. I've heard an employee say it could take 2-5 days to get the part but heard multiple calls asking when/why hasn't their car part arrived yet Lastly, not really pep boys felt.....a customer literally brought their guitar with them and started singing. I'm glad I didn't have to stay for the whole show ‍

I went to a mechanic down the road, an independent mechanic, but still a mechanic, and they looked at what they were going to charge me, and what they were telling me was wrong with my car, and, most of it ended up being way overpriced by like four times and some of it ended up being not a big deal at all or not even there. please, I beg of you save your money I know that some people are nervous to go to independent shops but there are so much good mechanics just right down the road from this Pep Boys who charge way less and show you exactly what they are doing and why they are doing it. And not only that, some of them also, give you warranty on the parts that they replace for your car. This place is not worth it at all. Please go spend your money somewhere else because in the end it will save you almost $1000 less!!! I learned this the hard way! adding to this, they always try to manipulate you no matter what, which is just completely horrible of the workers. I get if they make some kind of commission off of this, but I was not going to go through with a procedure, and the Mechanic, who was dealing with me, while he was printing out the quote for me, spoke to the other Mechanic and said " oh you're that person that didn't get this replaced, they ended up getting in a really bad crash right after they left our shop" it was obviously tactic, and I wasn't going to fall for it.

In…read moreany case, I had another car into the shop earlier this week (we've taken our cars only to EAR for the past 3 years) for a simple oil change, rotation and front breaks. As always the staff was courteous and attentive. They carefully track any/all work done on our cars and make the information available. Jimmie never hesitates to give me a call with any questions and is prepared to answer related to cost, alternative repairs and life expectancy of the existing parts and/or a new "fix." I'm happy to have found the place a few years ago and have recommended them to friends and neighbors consistently. Give them a try and get to know Jimmie and Joanna.

I came here wanting to get a quote on how much getting my car A/C and passenger rear view window…read morefixed would cost. The owner told me a simple dye test should do the trick to check the A/C. Hours after dropping my car off to do this test, they call me with an appalling list of things needed to be fixed in my car to the tune of over $3,500. One of which was leaking coolant, which I had fixed less than a year ago elsewhere. I went to my last mechanic to use the warranty from this repair. However, he was able to physically show me that there was no leak. I went to check everything else on this list of repairs Everything Automotive claimed I needed, and only 2 of the 5 repairs were actually true. I agreed to get my mirror changed at Everything Automotive and nothing else. But the owner wouldn't take my no for an answer on getting everything they listed repaired, and tried pressuring me to scare me saying my car was a ticking time-bomb. It wasn't. When I came to get my car an hour after the full diagnostics I didn't ask for was finished, the owner said he needed more time to "do what he needed to do still." Slightly concerning since there was nothing we agreed to repair yet, and of course when leaving, my car ran worse than it did when I got there. As a girl alone in Florida as I finish up my education, it's so disappointing to see the lengths people will go to swindle others. The owner states to have helped lots of fellow students from my school which worries me how many other people were suckered into spending money on things they didn't need from here. Do yourself a favor, and find an honest mechanic like Vimar up the block across the street from Full Sail University to help you with all your needs!

Initially, I had difficulty reaching someone to get a quote for some work I needed done on my VW…read more Turns out it was just bad timing, which is understandable -- it happens. Ismail, the owner, eventually reached out to me and explained what was going on at the time. He was interested in helping me with my concerns and worked around my schedule so that I could drop the car off. When I arrived, he listened to all of my concerns and advised on the possible causes. I had been doing my research on what the issues could have been and the cost to repair those issues, so I knew more or less what I could be facing. Before I left, I remembered that I had broken the headlight sensor and bought a replacement part that needed to be installed, but I had been too lazy to do it myself. So I asked him to let me know what it would cost to replace the part once he checked the car over. Two days after I dropped off the car Ismail calls me and tells me the car is ready and explained that everything was fine and the parts I thought were failing were still in good shape. I had changed out the suspension myself and I have 104k miles with mostly original OEM components. Turns out, everything I was experiencing was due to the new suspension. To be clear, Cars and More is not an aftermarket specialty shop, it's a shop that specializes in European car repairs, so finding the exact cause of the noises I'm hearing would require a bit of work since not every aftermarket combination yields the same results. Had my car been completely stock it would have been a very straight forward assessment, but he reassured me that the vehicle was fine to drive and that everything was installed to spec. He also installed the headlight sensor free of charge and topped off my oil as a gesture of good faith. I appreciate him taking the time to look over my car and provide an expert opinion. I would recommend Cars and More to anyone with a stock European vehicle, as I'm sure the dealerships will rob you blind. Ismail could have taken me to the cleaners based on my assumptions of what was wrong, but he did the right thing. A trustworthy mechanic is very hard, but there is definitely one at Cars and More!

If you are getting tires or an alignment, maybe they do great. But my daughter's boyfriend took his car there to have his ABS light troubleshot and fixed. It says on their Google page that they specialize in this for the ABS system. The part isn't cheap at almost $2000 for his Kia Optima from Kia itself. They charged him almost $3500 for it. And that's just the part. After the work was done, the light remained on and they told him that they can't reprogram the unit to get rid of the light. I then sent him to my mechanic literally just down the street. They told me they can order the part for about $1900 and was price gouged. And they showed me how they didn't even replace the whole part, but instead separated it into two pieces to make their job easy and only replaced half of it. This is what they suspect is the reason for the dash lights remaining on. Now we are going to have to fight corporate to give a refund so we can take his car to a proper mechanic to get fixed. Their price to fix was $4,406.91 while my mechanic has an estimate with the part directly from the Kia dealership at $2,971.00 out the door. What a difference!!!
