So far so good. I have had a few situations where my card was charged for fraud. I simply close the account. And get a new one. They mail the affidavit, I mailed it and faxed it. I kept a copy of the certificate of mailing . As for the fees, sheeze ppl quit gripping and learn to read. Everybody complain about hidden fees lol. They plainly lay out what you will be charged. Plus interest on carrying balances. I like the card for it's purpose, which is for emergencies. I use it, pay down, pay off, makes your score go up some points. I had to wait until they started to report to me to the credit bureaus for late payments to start paying it down.lol my inside joke. Anyways, Just remember to pay it down and pay it off. Thanks for coming over. Oh, it's not just going to just disappear because you stop payment. That just hurts your credit score if you care. horrible company! do not ever use fortiva/vitint home security! of you sign up for vivint home security you have to oay fortiva for the equipment! they are tied together!! their customer department is atrocious! they have no billing department to discuss billing issues. i've been with then since mid 2024 and i and the sales person set our account on auto pay via my checking accout routing numbers and account numder. everything was fine until february 2025, when all of the sudden their system would withdrawal my monthly payments and then i would get a payment reversal notification! then another charge for $89.25 which now included a late payment fee of $14.98! my payment information has never changed yet they cannot locate my account!!! now i required to pay $89.00 a month vs #74.28 a month! their payment system sucks and there is no one to speak to about the problem. the customer service representative just gives you a non explanation answer as to why this issue is happening. because their billing systems is so shitty i can no longer resume auto draft. their equipment is shitty and way overpriced! i got a doorbell camera a driveway camera and light, thermostat, and control panel and it cost me $4000.00! please heed my advice and use any other company but them. use ring or homesafe, adt, att&t or a local company other than vivint/fortiva, at least they have a billing department you can speak to, not some incompetent worthless people from this pos company!! fortiva/vivent home security! read more

I have not received my. Card!! I applied in person at a Home Depot store for a credit card with them and I was approved, I was even making a purchase that day and since I got approved for the card they just charged my purchase to the card and I got to keep the cash I had planned on paying with. I got approved for $2000 I seen it on the screen, I was also told to keep the receipt since I can use the temporary account on that receipt to make more pu r chases u til my card arrives supposedly no later than ten business days after I was approved. I received a denial letter in the mail after this telling me why I was denied but before I received the denial letter a new credit card had appeared in my credit report and it was the one I just got approved for from Home Depot, I dident understand what was going on or why I was getting a denial letter. I received a letter in the mail showing me my account how much I have that is still available and how much that I owe from the purchase that was charged to my card when I got approved in the Home Depot store, this letter was received after I got the denial letter confused I called and contacted somebody through customer support to find out what was going on with my card I figured if anyone would know what was going on with my card they would and if I was denied then they would inform me of that, they did not tell me I was denied they told me it has not been ten that they can see that it has not been ten business days and for me to wait for my card to show up. They did not tell my I was denied and on my credit report it shows as an open line of credit so it must have been approved! Well it has been over a month and I still have not received the card I tried contacting support again and couldn't get through to a person but when I gave the automated machine my social security number it told me I do not have an account at all, that my application was denied. Now after all of this I have an open line of credit on my credit report with a balance due that I have NO WAY OF EVEN PAYING ON since I do not have any credit account/card due to my supposed denial. If I could have somebody contact me about this it would be great my email is trevorhaeden99@gmail.com but due to this I am giving this company the worse rating I can and even that is not low enough. THEY CLOSED MY ACCOUNT AFTER 3 YEARS NO WARNING because I didn't charge something for 90 days. I am NEVER late on my payments and am an amazing customer to have. I opened my account with Fortiva card in 2019, the balance was small but I was just trying to build my credit. My credit is very important to me so even though I didn't like the card I continued to pay my $8 a month to keep the history on my report. I got an email on Wednesday they closed my account after 3 years because I did t charge anything to my card for 90 days. I have the app downloaded and I didn't get anything prior to this no email warning no text, no message on the app. I honestly thought this couldn't be real and called and sure enough they closed it. I asked if they would have to run my credit again to open my account back up and that's not an option, I would have to reapply like I never worked with them before so my 3 year history of no late payments no over the limits just gone. Fortiva is absolutely the worst credit card company. I only had 1 payment issue with them, I immediately corrected the problem and they suspended my account without notifying me. Once the account was suspended they told me I had to wait a month to use the card again. After the month was up, I called in and they stated that they "removed" the suspension from my card. Later that day I go to the store to use the card, and all of my transactions are declined. I called Fortiva and thy told me that I will have to wait another 2 weeks to use the card after the account is established? This is a TERRIBLE CARD. DO NOT APPLY. In the recent mass layoffs due to Covid 19, everyone is affected. I missed my payment due date bt 6 (SIX) days. The full amount charges on the card was less than $55 total. In fact, I hardly ever even use it unless I just dont have cash. Within less than 5 days past my due date I received 3 calls from a collection department, demanding an pay the card in full! I understand that this a a "credit" card, but give me BREAK! I have other cards thru Visa, and Matsercard, have much more frequent usage (because I get points) have never gotten behind on payments more than a month, and have NEVER been called or sent any collection letters threatening to deactivate the card! I financed my furniture through Fortiva and they triple charged my account in January without authorization. The interest rate is insane. I almost had my furniture paid off until they hit me with a year of accrued interest at 36%. Now I owe them almost 1k after I had my balance down to 300. They give no option of paying your bill, unless you want to pay by phone, and when you do the process your payment 1 day after it's due, and then they charge you a late fee. Last month they told me $45, and now they're saying minimum payment was more then that -if I paid by phone, why would the guy tell me an amount that was less than what I owed?
