No local AAA company would respond to give me a tow, but Hirt Towing drove over 2 hours to my location to see that my vehicle was taken care of and professionally handled. not only did they drive 2 hours to my location they drove another 30 minutes further from their shop to deliver my vehicle when local towing companies affiliated with AAA that were within 30 minutes of my location would not respond. I'd give them 10 stars but yelp only lets me give them 5. The best thing about this experience is that i was able to reunite with a fellow serviceman that I served in the military with and lost contact with him. He is refunding that $206. Mickey is a kind man, who takes great pride in treating his customers fairly. i think when my mom gets off the phone with him, he will have his lesson handed to him justly for this costly mistake. he was so profusely sorry though, the work done was of high quality, and the service agent was great that even due to this mistake i would take my car here again. One was from a major car dealer who basically told me that the used cars are "as is" and whatever I find wrong with the car is my responsibility. This was after I purchased the car and on the way home the check engine light came on. I was furious and knew for sure that I had been scammed. But couldn't do anything about it and they didn't even want to check to see what was wrong with the car. Long story short, the car had major oil leaking problems and water coming inside the car every time it rained. I was never going to buy another used car. But I saw a Facebook post for a particular model of Mini that I have always wanted. I went to just take a look and so I drove all the way from MD to PA. Upon getting there I met with Todd who is one of the owners of the Sports Car Center and he explained how he had done a long list of repairs and maintenances on the car. "Yea right, sure..." I was thinking. The car was beautiful. But of course it was hard to believe and trust another person who was trying to sell me a used car. But Todd seemed really honest and genuine. I also met his father who started the business and kept it going all these years. Obviously they would not have been able to do that if they would have practiced dishonest business practices over the years. After a test drive and reading a few other reviews online, I decided to get the car. For at least a week I was on the edge, every time I would find something not quite right or hear a funny engine sound I would call Todd. And EVERY SINGLE TIME, he returned my call promptly and explain things and worked with me to make things right or to give me assurances that there is nothing wrong with the car. It has been an incredible experience considering the Mini was 13yrs old. Everything could have gone wrong and a terrible disaster. But now, I feel very comfortable and know that I purchased the car as described and promised by the seller for the first time in a long time.
