I had a very disappointing experience at this Ulta location while attempting to pick up an online…read moreorder. I waited at curbside and called the store multiple times from my car to let them know I was there, but no one answered--even though I could see an employee near the window. I was sitting in my vehicle, clearly waiting for a paid curbside pickup, which makes what followed even more confusing. I went inside and presented my order confirmation email, which states that either an ID or the email may be used for pickup. The employee insisted on ID only and proceeded to lecture me in a condescending tone, rolling her eyes throughout the interaction. The way she spoke to me felt accusatory, as though I was attempting to steal, despite the fact that I was simply picking up inexpensive items that were already paid for. I wasn't feeling well at the time, so the interaction was especially uncomfortable. As I was leaving, the employee made a dismissive scoffing gesture that reinforced how unprofessional the encounter was. I've been a Platinum and Diamond member for years and have never been treated this way. This wasn't a policy issue--it was an attitude and professionalism issue. Extremely disappointing. You are in retail-- I expect friendly service with a smile.
