The venue for the game was good. There were a fair number of spectators, but it wasn't crowded. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Concessions was good - about normal prices for the items, and it was well stocked. Everyone I encountered there was very friendly and helpful with directions. It is a beautiful campus. Even in the snow.

Although, I am a 55 year young woman ,temporarily separated from the love of my life; I have four children grown, and they now have their own families. I found myself not knowing who I was. Nevertheless, when I walked into ECTC last January, I noticed young and older people glowing with "Goals" written all over their faces. Attitudes of self-worth; I knew right then, when i grew up, I wanted to be just like them! For this reason, I found the rest room ,and I pulled my Big Girl panties up! Finally, for the first time in all of my half of a century on this earth I had a vision, a vision so clear- of myself walking across a stage in a cap and gown, and accepting a degree. The staff helped me with the application process, the ladies in the financial aid office helped me with the FAFSA( and clearly explained it) application. Please correct me if I am wrong, but the only "Loan Officer" in this process is our United States Government, and in state residents are discounted. And even after I signed the Education contract, there is a grace period after class starts, a 100 % refund withdrawal date, you know, just in case that particular class isn't for me. However, my first semester was a "learning curve" for myself, I was appalled they did not have an entourage of advisors, or the "Dean of Students" follow me to show me where to go, and what to expect. LoL Conversely, I realized, I needed to put in the action, and ask for help if I needed it, despite putting me way out of my comfort zone, but most important, the staff and faculty are happy to help, and I am on my way to finishing my first year of college...YAY ME! We use this facility 3-5 times a year as a venue site for meetings. They have meeting rooms and…read morerates that are super affordable. The team is great to work with. They set up the room the way you request and have small and large room options. We have hosted meetings as small as 25 and as large as 125+. I love that they make it easy, email me the contract, and we pay after event. They can also add AV needs to! We have great set up support and have been pleased with all events here! What's really great is they allow us to have our meals catered in. No contracts with their preferred vendors. We can also bring in food and drink, coffee water snacks. This is not the norm when you rent facilities like this. Truly a pleasure to work with from reservation to completion of event.

We have been stationed at Fort Knox twice in our 25 year military career. The post changed a lot…read moresince we left in 1998. They torn down all the housing we lived in. That is a good thing because we lived in substandard housing. It was also sad. People at the front gate are unfriendly when you need to get a pass issued. If it wasn't for us military people they wouldn't have a job. The post is no longer as busy as it used to be. The PX has not changed since we first got stationed there in 1985. It sure needs a face lift. The reason why I gave it a three star is for the nice ad welcoming receptionist at the Wickam Inn.
