Commissary is not doing anything about the cashier yelling at their customers. I just try other places tired.

Everything on this place sucks. Except the Mexican restaurant. The horchata is pretty good.

Georgia has a fair number of online services. They do require you to present hard copy documents to…read moreget a new license, of course. There was an option to fill out an application online, so my question having done that was if I brought in all the documents they asked for (with a few extras on hand just in case), would everything go smoothly? And it did. I was subject to an initial greeting where my purpose for being there was verified and I took a number and got in line. In the middle of the afternoon, it was less than ten minutes before I was seen. Presenting my stuff, doing a couple of quick tests, and paying a pretty reasonable fee, I was out of there in probably less than half an hour total. Now, some people have more complicated situations, and some people clearly don't check out all the online resources before coming, but at least from my perspective it was a pretty smooth experience and the people working there seemed like they knew what they were doing.

Coming from NY, I found this to be astonishing because in NY, going to the DMV is a three to four hour ordeal. The process to get what you need starts off at one of the computer terminals where you enter. You fill out your necessary forms and you're given a number to be seen at the main counter. The whole process is very organized and painless. The info desk staff was very helpful in answering my questions and checking to make sure I had all the documentation I needed to transfer my license from another state. I would surely not hesitate to visit this location again if I require their services in the future.

But instead I am reminded that I need to either go online or in person to renew my tag. Because there was a change of mailing address, I did not receive my renewal notice in the mail so I knew a trip to Peach Orchard road was a coming. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I walked in and an electronic screen asked my purpose for being there. I pressed the appropriate button and my paper ticket popped out. I sat down and listened for the next number. It was 10 in front of mind. I was not hopeful. As I sat there, I soon observed an employee whose job it appears is to answer questions and help people make the right selection when checking in. That is thoughtful. But I still anticipated a long wait. I began catching up on the local news when all of a sudden numbers were being called out over the intercom. Sometimes two at a time. In less than 20 minutes, I was seated across from someone telling her I needed to renew my tag. In less than 5 minutes I had not only renewed my tag, but updated my mailing information and phone number. Talk about efficient. I left impressed. If you live in Richmond County, this is the place to go. Trust me. *Insider's Tip -They will ask for an acceptable ID (driver's license, etc) so be sure to have it on hand.

Now just refuses to deliver my mail at all because she wants the box in a different location. I have not gotten my mail delivered properly in the two and a half years I have lived here. The post office clerk, Ian, is useless and opinionated without knowing all the facts. He knew about the situation with my mail from the carrier on my route and decided to enter his opinion on. "Someone took it upon themselves to move their box". No, my mailbox was in that location when I bought my house. I never took it upon myself to move it anywhere. I refuse to bring my mail to be delivered out of that post office because I can't trust it. I highly doubt that any mail that comes through there is treated with any respect. So I cannot with any confidence send packages out through there. I go to peach orchard location if I need anything mailed out. Windsor spring road is by far the worst post office I have ever worked with in my life. I would drive to another county to work with their post office over this one.
