Foresters is an automated car wash. They do a good job with my car (not an expensive, fancy car). They scrub a bit before the automated part. My car was covered with smushed mayflies. The wash took them all off the front and windshield. The price for the express wash is inexpensive enough that I don't think about it, $6. A good value for the nice job they do. They normally have someone do towel drying. The service is excellent. read more

Paid more for wheels a couple times and they didn't do my wheels. Rather spend the money at Jax at this point. Never said anything to them either, because honestly 4/6 dollars is a good investment to know my money is spent better elsewhere lol. Plus, they never do a good job drying your vehicle. the garage door crashed on my new car and scratched my rear window. left a note to the boss. to all the people read this, their garage door sensor near the floor, if you tires not cover the sensor, the door will keep going down and crash your car, the door will not automatically stop like our home garage door, it will going down. oh, I can't pull forward, because the dry towel guy is busy thanks the driver's tip in front of me, so I am stuck with the falling door. update, after going back to there a few times, finally the boss said, they are not going to take any responsibly for the scratch. what a bad place!!!! read more

I believe this places machines scraped the heck out of my cars passenger side mirror. The scrap couldn't have been done by another cars door hitting it, or somebody walking past it, because it goes around the front curvature from where it connects to the car's body to the mirrored glass uniformly. The scrap looks mechanical, not linear. Never noticed the scrap before, after going there, obvious af. Will never be going back. read more

Forster is a drive through car wash with hand drying at the end of the line that does a decent job in cleaning your vehicle. It also offers free vacuum service as part of their wash which is a big plus especially if you have a large vehicle allowing you time to vacuum all the nooks and crannies of your vehicle without feeling rushed to avoid paying for a second round of vacuuming if required. The big negative about this facility is that it automated equipment does not do a good job of cleaning the tailgate and rear bumper on pick up trucks . More often than not I see visible dirt after the car has been washed where they are dependent on the people doing the wipe dry at the end of the line slowing down to wipe that area to ensure it is clean (which does not happen that often). Also, you run the risk of getting your vehicle scratched by the guys hand drying at the end of the line by zippers/belts/watches. As a point of interest, I am a retired Automotive engineer and at plants all workers are required to wear belt/watch protectors and no exposed zippers when working on vehicles to avoid scratching. Considering the cost of new vehicles these days, a similar approach should be taken for these guys that hand dry and is the risk you take when opting for a hand dry facility. For this primary reason I always go to a hands free wash that has a good jet dry system where there are several in this area that do a good job. read more

Forster's does a good car wash. It's a little pricey for a drive-through, but they do an excellent job of pre-washing -- they actually scrub and use soap! The pre-wash here was better than the entire wash I got at Kelly's $3 wash a few weeks ago. I got the special $7.50 wash with wax & some other things. They also hand dry the car at the end. When I got home & looked at the car, i was pretty pleased. And the people there are really nice, too. read more

I've lived around this area for years now, and have never had an issue with this place till recently. I just purchased a new vehicle recently and like any car owner I took it for a wash. Right away I noticed paint scraped off my mirror, but I chalked it up to as overlooked when I bought it to save me the stress. But once I took it in for the second time and immediately I noticed a rock chip out of my windshield. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR VEHICLES APPEARANCE!!! read more

Been going here for years. Absolutely the beat wash in the area. I usually pay for the best wash ($9) and my truck comes out perfect everytime. The rims are pre sprayed with wheel cleaner and then they dona pre brush on the wheels before and then they get scrubbed by the auto tire scrubber as you go through. The triple foam polish from Diamond Shine does an amazing job and leaves the most amazing shine on my vehicle. Wheel wells are sprayed out clean every time and during the warm months they always make sure all of the bugs are gone before they send you thru. The WeatherGuard from Diamond Shine is also impressive. Similar to Rain-X and does just as good of a job if not better. Rain and snow bead up and roll right off the truck and when I'm driving I don't even need my wipers on usually. Plus it helps protect the clearcoat and keep the vehicle clean longer by preventing dirt and debris from sticking to the paint as easily. Amazing place! Been going for years and will continue. Always stop in 2-3 times a week. read more

Worst carwash in metro Detroit! They scratched up my 2012 Infiniti. When I showed it to them right after the attendant finished wiping my car of. They did not take any responsibility for it. The manager is extremely rude and racist. I had to take it to the dealership to get most of the scratches of. I will avoid this place forever! read more
