I have been a huge customer of this store until yesterday when I tried to return an unworn pair of…read morepants. When I got the product home, I was going to wear it and took off the tag. The pants were the wrong size because they were placed in my dressing room as "you might want to try these". I immediately placed them back in the bag with the receipt. When I returned to the store I was told that I could not return the pants if the tag was not on them. The usually courteous and smarmy attitude of the clerks immediately turned hostile. I was treated with unnecessary disrespect.The clerk actually inspected the pants and found loose strings ( an example of shoddy workmanship, not wear and tear!) I am amazed that a store that passes itself off as classy would have such bargain basement return policies. Most of the other establishments at which I shop would have gladly credited my return. And, oh yes, I was trying to exchange the pants for a pair that fit!

This is an old intimidation trick used years ago by inexperienced security guards to deter shoplifting. I took great offense to it because he was qn qmqtueur wanna be cop and I knew what he was doing. I noticed that he was only walking over and speaking to black people. Now they may have a problem with stealing in that store and it's his job to stop it . However I will not be shopping in that Target again because Ii have plenty of money and I don't steal and I earn 20 times his salary. I will not allow anyone to make me feel lesser than.
