She mentioned that it was so "little" that she would probably be just handing it over to one of her other vendors since "they can handle the smaller events." I still asked for a price quote and she said she would send one to me. 5 days later I emailed her to inquire about the price quote to then get a response stating that they had a very large event over the weekend and like to take the Monday after the weekend off so that they can "put their feet up." I worked for 7 years in Sales and Event Planning and have never heard someone basically tell a possible client that they just don't have time for their business but Diane definitely gave that impression to me. So unless you have a very large event (over 250 people) and don't mind someone telling you they will get to you when they get to you, then go ahead and contact Special Event Producers. If you would like to be treated like a valued client, then you may want to look elsewhere.
