Kind of disappointed lately by the quality of flowers I've gotten from Devynn's gardens and how long the flowers last for. To be honest the past two times my flowers have died so quickly, I thought last time it was just something wrong bc I've had years and years, a decade of this being my favorite florist and the place I always recommend however lately I've had roses from Target last me weeks when Devynns can't even last a week. Here are the Valentine's Day flowers I was given, LESS THAN A WEEK AGO, makes me so so sad :( Valentine's Day was Saturday, my SO made this beautiful bouquet on Friday and gave it to me Friday and I took these pictures on Wednesday morning. Why does this happen! I know I'm good at keeping flowers and caring for them because of how long they always last from Trader Joe's and target. I am just bummed :( loved this place since I moved to California in 2016 and it was my favorite florist. This is $60 more that the actual website for Voluspa! If you use the online 10% off coupon Coluspa advertises on their actual site, the same candle with free shipping is $202.50. Devynn's Garden is in a league of its own. My infatuation with them started after my husband brought me flowers from there; I received the most beautiful bouquet that differed from that of the florist we traditionally use down the street from us. After that I knew THIS was the place for flowers when you want to go the extra mile and buy something unique. Now, we just don't go anywhere else. They have bouquets for all kinds of budgets. Some ready made ones can range from $35-$100+. There are also plenty of helpful staff working to put together a custom bouquet - just tell them your budget (and please tip them to show appreciation). If you want to add on a clear glass vase it's typically $15 extra depending on size, but that's the average I'm used to. They also have more than just flowers but home decor type things, soaps, candles and cards to hep fluff up your gifts. I also want to add their flowers last a LONG TIME and not only have I personally experienced this myself but even had someone we gifted flowers to a week later comment on how they're still thriving. read more

Sadly, my husband of 48 years died recently and suddenly, leaving little time in a stressful period to plan a memorial. I was given an option of having the mortuary order a casket and side-piece for the chapel. However, having ordered from Devynn's over the years, I was more comfortable ordering from them due to their continual high quality. My son made an appointment for me to go in and speak with Cyndi, the owner. Because we'd spent extensive time in Maui, I wanted only tropicals and I knew the ones I ordered would be fresh, appropriate and beautiful. We met with Cyndi and my son told her that what I really wanted was an expression of the colors in a Maui sunset. Cyndi instinctively knew what I wanted, showed me a few examples of the large selection available and I simply said I trusted her. No stress or second thoughts. The resultant large casket display and side piece were simply exquisitely beautiful and more than I'd ever hoped for for my beloved husband. My sister went in a day later to order large rectangular, again tropical, displays for two outdoor farm tables and a table centerpiece for the planned lunch at our home after the service. They were equally lovely. I recommend Devynn's unreservedly for premium arrangements. They are perhaps a few dollars more, but for the quality and design expertise offered, they simply excel and are worth it! I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but this was Devynn's in Sunset Beach. So...Thank you Cyndi; thank you Devynn's! One more thought....Burial was taking forever due to some poor planning at the cemetery, with bulldozers all round. I was fairly sure the beautiful casket and side piece would simply be plowed under. I asked my son to bring the huge arrangement of tropical flowers home and put them on the front porch. Guests were invited, when leaving, to take flowers for their home displays and, and at days end, they were gone to be enjoyed by many throughout Orange County.
