This year, I yelped florists in the area to see what fancy looking bouquets I can get... Because the flowers at Von's seemed to have been sitting there for ages. Plus, it has been getting a bit embarrassing walking into a guests home with cheap plastic wrapped flowers with an unremovable barcode on it. I found Dave's easily, walked in, and was treated by a young lady. I told her I needed 3 bouquets, and I need them quick! She immediately asked me what my budget was and I said $20 each. Then we chose flowers and colors together. And let me tell you, in those 5 minutes... I learned so much about flowers. This girl knows her stuff. She put together three very different, and gorgeous bouquets.... All for the same price as a grocery store!! She made them look full and plentiful. I was so glad she was able to work with my budget. Not only that, but the flowers looked exotic.. Not your typical roses or sunflowers from a grab and go shop. I believe her name was Hallie... Just look for her when flower shopping at Dave's. She is so helpful and will make your experience there personal and fun! I am definitely going back for my next event... She showed me pictures of centerpieces she has done and boy was I impressed! When I sent him a selfie with the bouquet, he noticed that the flowers were nothing like what he had ordered. Surprised to see no reviews on here especially since it looked like they had been in business for quite some time. I had recently gone to my staple florist and once again they were out of sunflowers for my wife. I used my google app and found Dave's Flowers. They did an amazing job! The arrangement was beautiful and they way it was wrapped up was in that brown paper with some type of string that my wife said was amazing! I guess being a guy I don't get it because as a guy I saw it as same paper as a brown paper bag lunch and twine but all the girls my wife showed it off to loved the wrapping as much as the flowers? Either way it a great arrangement...my only little hitch was the way the pricing was. She said sunflowers were $3 each, so I said okay well lets get those together with some gerber daisy's and whatever other purple flower you have. She asked me budget and I said $20-$30. She grabs three sunflowers and some others wraps it up nicely and tells me that'll be $30. I was happy to pay and well worth it as they were beautiful and saved my butt but I just thought it was a funny coincidence that it was exactly $30 you know? Gorgeous arrangements here! We happened upon it by accident - needed to pick up a couple stems quickly for a little girl's dance recital and it was the closest shop. WOW! What a find! It cost us about $5 total for the flower (can't remember what type, but it was really pretty) with a water tube at the bottom, some greenery and wrapped up really pretty in a couple colored pieces of tissue paper + brown wrapping paper + raffia tie. They even attached a purple butterfly that made it look like it was a super cute and chic and more like a present. Totally didn't feel like we were only giving a flower. Have gone back a couple more times for similar small items and always really pretty. The owner's daughter has always helped me and I got to see a real bouquet she was making last week while I was there - gorgeous, sophisticated, interesting. I think it's a lot like Devynn's Garden quality. If someone were to buy me flowers, I'd love them from here! read more
