One of my favorite pastime is looking at flowers and finding unique ones. This location in particular had a variety of selections. I initially came in looking for Peonies, which I found, but they didn't have much color selections. However, the staff member showed me a flower similar to Peonies called Ranunculus with the perfect colors that I liked. I bought 2 stems which I cut and put in a cylinder vase. As a guy I can go into this flower shop, give them a price I want to pay, tell them the colors and that's it. They can make it any way you like just by knowing your price range, the occasion and what colors you're interested in. On my last visit I picked up two $50 bouquets in circle glass vases. One in whites/blue and purples and another I asked for Oranges and Hawaiian like. They also have cards there for any occasion. Cyndi is absolutely wonderful to deal with and makes your dreams come true. We had a TERRIBLE time with our wedding venue and if it wasn't for Cyndi I would of had an actual nervous breakdown. Thank you so much for that emergency meeting after hours!! When I arrived at the venue and saw her creations I was blown away! She nailed it! Cyndi's communication is top notch. She will even respond to you if she's busy and gives you a realistic time that she will be able to get back to you. Her staff is an absolute pleasure! They go above and beyond. Anytime I called or walked in the shop they make you feel important. What they charge for what you get is absolutely wonderful! I was worried we wouldn't be able to afford Devyns Gardens because of how good they are. Not true! Totally reasonable especially for the service and product. It was very important to me that we were able to hire Devyns's Gardens for our wedding. My mom, sister, now husband and I all go there and have been for years. I've even told my mother in law and she now is a loyal customer of Devyns'. Btw she lives in Mission Viejo!! I only wish I had more photos to share. I came here because all the flower shops were a dud or not open because of lunch breaks, but glad this place was open and easy to get to! Its beautiful. Very artsy, aesthetically pleasing and you can make your own pieces or have someone help you out. Its fresh, beautiful and has interesting and exotic but gorgeous flowers from all kinds of tastes. They also have a shop extended for a boutique with candles, decor and simple clothing. I got help making this small piece for a narrow vase and only spent about $6-$7! It's nearing 5'oclock on a Saturday before a Holiday weekend (monday) and I find out a friend is in the hospital. I call around and was basically told by everyone in town it was too late to possibly get flowers to her that same day, let alone before the Holiday on Monday. I was told by another company that possibly Devynn's flowers could make it happen. Make it happen is putting it lightly. Called them at 5. I was told the driver was out on his last route, but to hold on and they'd see if he could come back and go out for another run. They made it happen! Considering the place is a beach-side boutique, and at first glance upon walking in, I would have expected expensive goods but the clothing and accessories were VERY reasonable. After perusing the clothes, and immediately wanting several pieces, I was pleasantly surprised at the prices. I did take a peek into the florist part and it was very boutique-like, very cute. Soooo I was lucky to have ever stopped into this place. Growing up in Vegas, where there aren't many florists, I would purchase most bouquets at a grocery store that were mediocre at best. I stopped in here one time just to look, end ended up buying my boutineers, an awesome bouquet for my grandmothers funeral, Mothers Day flowers, and recently purchased flowers that were a couple hundred dollars for Valentines Day. They were pre-ordered a month in advance and explained in depth of what I wanted, and when it was delivered on Valentines Day it was nothing like we talked about.. I called and spoke with the owner, Cindy, and she delivered another bouquet to me and it was fine. I think I spent a little too much on the arrangement and got a little attitude from her, but it was a busy day for them. 5 Stars, because besides the Valentines mishap, I've had nothing but good experiences. read more

They always have fresh and unique flower alternatives you just will never find at your typical "Conroy's" or other retail flower shop. The girls are always very helpful, friendly and can be relied upon to put a beautiful arrangement together. Much better than this guy could ever hope to do by himself. Best of all, the flowers LAST! I've always had the best of luck with these flower and they seem to keep very well in a vase. The folks who work here obviously enjoy being part of this store and have always provided the best experience. Best of all, even though I would be willing to pay more for this type of experience and quality, I don't have to.
