Then, we…read moredecided to get married right away, so I had no plans and didn't know how to start for dress shopping. I went to She Said Yes and they were GREAT, they helped me find my perfect dress. I had an idea of what my ceremony was going to be like so I was looking for maybe a specific kind of dress, however, they showed me different dresses and gave me so many options!!! They showed me dresses that matched my idea and they were able to be worn in different ways! I had the best experience. They were so kind, they have the best team, I felt so comfortable with them and my dress was beautiful! I will 100% recommend them!

The lady helping me started asking really personal questions about if I was living with my fiance yet. When I told her no she was obviously judging me for not living with him before we got married. Which I just thought was crossing a boundary for someone I've literally never met and whose business it is NOT. I got a lace up back on my dress and asked if I could see it without the panel behind it (some brides do that) and she basically told me I shouldn't do that because "it would look like lingerie" and she kept calling my wedding a "Bible wedding" and like wouldn't drop it even when I tried to move on. Basically implying "how could you want to show your back if you are a Christian". Then she goes on to talk to my maid of honor about "no brides really wait to move in with their finances anymore" and she went to tell the other girl at the counter about our conversation in front of me while I was paying. She then made the comment "if your mom was here what would she think" and I was just like shocked. As if my mom would be appalled if I showed like an inch of my back line who cares. My maid of honor was also super weirded out. It was so strange especially since my first experience was so good. But that being said I love my dress and am excited to wear it! But I probably will not recommend to a friend unfortunately.

I cannot stress enough how AMAZING this company is. On…read moreAugust 14th I went out shopping for a dress to wear to an upcoming Military Ball. I am a plus sized woman (dress size 20). I called all over Tulsa and most of the places that say they carry plus size either stop at a 14-16 or have larger sizes that look like someone grabbed some drapes and cut holes in them. It is so stressful trying to find formal wear when you are bigger. So, I found a dress online and called the store to confirm that it was in stock. It wasn't, but the nice young lady on the phone told me they do carry plus sizes in store. Inventory was a little low because of prom season ending and homecoming beginning. So I took a chance. I went in expecting the usual treatment. You know the one, not much service, Side eye and looking down the nose at the bigger girl. I've been "plus sized" my whole life, and I'm used to it. Not here, though. I had the nicest woman helping me (I hate that I cannot remember her name). She showed me dress after dress until my friend and I agreed on the perfect one. THEN, rather than making me buy this dress and having to pay for serious alterations, she took my measurements and ordered the size I needed! These were not cheaply made David's Bridal type dresses. These dresses are amazing AND competitively priced!! I believe I saw sizes in store up to a 28. Ladies, I will likely never go anywhere else. I have never been treated so well in a store and I am so grateful I could cry.

Zipper went up with ease, got it to the top and it came completely apart. We had to sew my daughter into dress. It was an awful situation. We only had a short amount of time and had to worry through whole night that dress will hold up. Took video to show that it was broke, left voicemail with shop. Owner called Monday. Told me she recieved my voicemail and that that is not possible with that gown. Offered to pay for a new zipper (just the zipper, not the installation). Owner is new this year, we have always bought deesses there in the past. We will never shop their again.

My daughter's wedding dress experience at Danielle's was highly disappointing. Absolutely nothing…read morelike we were expecting as being the most fun event during wedding season. When we arrived for the much-anticipated appointment, the consultant did not introduce herself (I can't even call her out by name because she never gave us her name) and honestly made us feel like she was bothered by having to assist us. The only question she asked me (mother of the bride) was what was my budget. We weren't offered water much less champagne. We all started looking at dresses and she quickly said "those won't fit her, you can only look on this side". But all dresses are ordered in the bride's size so what difference did it matter which sizes we were looking at?? The consultant never engaged in conversation with my daughter (where is the wedding, tell me about your fiancé, what style dress are you looking for....nothing). My daughter tried on 5-6 dresses (I don't even remember because it was unmemorable) and when I would ask if she could clip them in the back she would just cinch it up and hold it so we couldn't really tell what it looked like. There was no pedestal for the bride to stand on to get a good view of the dress. My daughter already thought she knew what dress she wanted, which is why we went to Danielle's as they carried the dress, but she still wanted to try on other options and have the full experience. The consultant never asked her dress preferences and never pulled dresses for her. Myself and the others in the group pulled dresses but the consultant never even offered and she is supposed to be the expert. I had to ask about veils. We were never offered to look at veils in the veil room nor was my daughter asked her preferences. The consultant just brought out a few that my daughter did not like and the consultant then just lost interest and said we were done. We bought the dress she had wanted going into the appointment but the consultant never offered to take a picture of the group and just sent us to the cashier and disappeared. My daughter went today to pick up the dress and they didn't offer for her to try it on, for her to look at veils again or even alterations. Just here is your dress, bye. Thank goodness we have a local seamstress to do the alterations as I wouldn't have trusted Danielle's to care about doing the alterations correctly. I know Danielle's has many positive reviews but our experience was awful and nothing that you dream about as a little girl. Shame on Danielle's for not creating the magical wedding dress experience! I am yelling loud and clear to all of my friends whose daughters are getting married to not shop at Danielle's! So disappointing!!

I loved every little thing about shopping at Danielle's. 1) When you make an appointment to shop, you don't have to "share" the floor with anyone else. It was just me and my family, so it was very comfortable and felt very special. 2) The women who work there are genuinely so kind and not pushy at all. If a dress is not for you then it's just not for you. You don't get the feeling that they are desperately working on commission or something. They were respectful of my budget and not judgey at all. 3) They can sell you a dress right off the rack - no need to order one. When I shopped there, I only had 8 weeks until my wedding. Other stores just could not wrap their minds around this and kept letting me try on gowns that took way longer to have made / ordered. But at Danielle's they assured me that I could take home a dress that day if need be. 4) The sample sizes were very inclusive. It was explained to me that there are two types of sizing for bridal gown. There is the standard sizing which runs very small and there is the "W" size which stands for "woman" - meaning that it has more room for these hips! They carry lots of "W" sized gowns so I was really able to try on gowns that fit instead of just "imagining" what the right size would look like. Did I also mention that I found THE dress of my dreams here?! I seriously didn't think that it even existed, but the moment she pulled it out, I knew it was perfect. It fit like it was made for me (only needed to be hemmed, which they did perfectly) and I was able to purchase that one! I recommend Danielle's to every bride I know!

However, I personally left feeling very frustrated and upset. I had indicated to the stylist before she pulled any dresses what my budget was, and how anything over that budget would be difficult for me to purchase. The dresses she put me in were very beautiful, but the two "favorite" dresses are significantly over my budget. I just felt like what I was asking for was being ignored and I was being upsold on dresses that I absolutely cannot purchase. I did love the stylist and the look of dresses, but will discourage anyone from looking here is you have a strict budget, as I do.

Still I'd exited to purchase a dress, made two payment through the phone and mg last payment in person, I owed about $300 , they tried to charge me $700!!! and told me they needed receipts to prove I made the other payments.. which thank god I kept! And once they realized they still stood there giving me dirty looks, and handed me my dress with no comments or expression.. no thank you or congratulations.. completely stole the magic of finding your wedding dress.
