I always see them at different event and finally try them for the first time at the Worthington Arts Festival. Fork in Nigeria mission is to bring on the traditions of authentic Nigerian cuisine as they serve around the area in their food truck. I did studied the menu beforehand, as I'm not quite familiarize with Nigerian cuisine. This time I got the Stewed Chicken meal. It include the stewed chicken leg quarter, jollof rice and sauteed veggies. The chicken itself is moist and pair with the tomato based stew sauce. It is full with flavor and definitely loving it. The jollof rice is fluffy and also tomatoey as it stewed in flavorful tomato and pepper puree.

I love the food so much. I have had the stewed chicken meal wit, stewed beef meal (in the picture), edikang ikong stew, okra stew, fufu, and jollof rice. Everything has been delicious, haven't had anything bad from here. The food is so flavorful and nothing is too salty, just very well seasoned. The meat was very tender in both the beef and chicken meals, though I will mention that some of the beef chunks were all fat without any meat. My only experience with Nigerian food and it is very good.

Fufu and egusi! Really really good! I usually like to over salt my food but this was perfectly seasoned!

Amazing balance of spice and flavor in this egusi stew. The fufu is light and fluffy and easily edible with your hands!

The stewed beef meal was very nicely seasoned and nice portion of beef. The meat pies weren't very remarkable, they were also pretty cold even after eating right after we bought them, I will try another side next time.

The juice was tasty but needed to be mixed better. I got a mouth full of clove gel.

Polite service. The juice had a good flavor, but needed to be mixed better. I could have done without the hair in my rice.

An in-law raved about this spot while visiting jn Columbus Ohio and I wasn't impressed at all. Firstly, it is a food truck and they had a schedule of where they would be and we got there and there were not there. Wish they would update things as they go. Secondly the food was over priced $15/$16 for some meals that I think should be $12 max. Thirdly the food wasn't that great. The Egusi was watery and the jollof was not good at all. The only good thing on the menu that I tried was the Suya. That I could go back for whenever in the area.

Nothing but amazing . Great food , fast service and seasoned very well. I hate trying new things but this is a great decision. I've yet to be dissatisfied

Great opportunity to try Nigerian cuisine. Very friendly vendor. Tried the Moi Moi, a Nigerian steamed bean pudding made from a mixture of washed and peeled black-eyed beans, onions and fresh ground red peppers. It is a protein-rich food that is a staple in Nigeria. I loved it and will get again! Also had the very traditional FuFu which is an acquired taste but I was still happy to give it a try. It was a spongy dough made from boiled and pounded starchy food crops - I think they use carvasa. You take small pieces and dip into a stew. Do not get it beef which was a poor quality (thus the 4 instead of 5 stars).

I have been looking for this food truck for many days. Have they moved?

Facebook page says they're at 6300 E Livingston T-Sun from 12-8 and we recently went to their food hall location at 212 kelton.

I looked at the steam table, and not sure what to get because I tire of spending my money and being disappointed. I ordered something that I thought would be a safe-bet...I ordered 4 fried wings, Mac and cheese, and candied yams. I started tasting my food when I got in the car. The wings were perfectly cooked -- juicy and tender. The Mac and cheese had a decent amount of cheese, not like some places that cover their Mac and cheese with some type of Velveeta sauce. I would have eaten all of my wings in the car, but I needed some hot sauce, which surprisingly the restaurant did not have. I finished my meal when I got home. The yams were delicious...not overly sweet. I will say that the wings and Mac and cheese could have used a little more seasoning, but that was okay...there are many times where I went to a soul food restaurant and had to toss food because it was way too salty. I would rather my food to be under seasoned than over seasoned. You can always add, but you can't take it away. I will definitely return, and try something else on the menu, and hopefully not be disappointed.

After a really rough day on the lanes, we were hongry (yes, I spelled that correctly) and wanted soul food. The soul food place we'd visited the last time we were in Columbus closes at 6pm. It's a little after 7. So trusting my fellow Yelpers, I searched out soul food and Kays was very near our hotel. They, the Yelpers, as usual, got it right. Those of you who know us, know that we go in hard. Especially when the place has good customer service reviews. Our fellow Yelpers did not lie. The place is a kitchen staff by Kay herself and a young lady whom I'm assuming is her daughter? Nonetheless, her booming personality and jovial demeanor made us not care about what was cooking in her kitchen! We wanted it. The hand written flipboard menu was nothing less than charming. Made me feel like I was at grandma's where she put a note on the refrigerator saying this is what's for dinner. Don't spoil your appetite before then. Not an expansive daily special menu, which was cool, because when you haven't eaten since breakfast, you tend to go hog wild at the mere thought of food, and typically can't settle on anything. Pimp had pork chops, rice and gravy, and greens. I had the catfish and macaroni and cheese. When I say the silence was palpable when Pimp started chomping that chop ... He completely left the building. Him, pork chops, rice and gravy were in a different ethosphere. He did wish there was more gravy though. Greens were tender and well seasoned. My catfish was rolled with hands that had done family reunion fish frys for a long time. Well seasoned, coated and fried to perfection. The macaroni and cheese had the creamy, stringiness that you like to play with before you fly it into your mouth. It definitely had personality. But the coup de grace was indeed the service. I am completely angry, because we need to eat in this woman's kitchen at least once a month, and Columbus is 3 1/2 hours away from Detroit! The Saraga International Market is interesting in and of itself, but I'll post a different review on that. Kudos Ms. Kay. We're looking forward to them oxtails on our way home tomorrow and to many visits in the future.

I have to admit that ever since moving to Columbus 6 years ago, I've felt that great soul food is hard to come by here, but hers is definitely the exception! Came on a Sunday afternoon and tried the stuffed salmon combo. You are allowed to pick how many sides you want, and the price increases accordingly. I opted for mac n cheese and collard greens, and the greens were some of the best I've ever tried at a restaurant. Also was given a huge portion well worth the price. She was kind enough to let me sample her turkey and dressing which were delicious too. I'll definitely be back!

Turn in at the light, and be careful about which driveway you pick- I think it's the second driveway, near a daycare, and it winds around back to the restaurant. You can see the place from James. Pretty busy at lunchtime, a few dine in and some carryout. Served cafeteria style, so you can see what you want, and drool over it. Well, there's a clear shield, but you know what I mean. I got smothered pork chops, since I hadn't had them forever. Meaty, tender, covered in gravy and onions. So so good, especially as comfort food on a cold day. You can also get them fried. Plenty of other things on the menu looked good. And all of the sides sounded good. I ended up getting one that was a mix of cabbage and greens, instead of getting the two separately, so that gave me space for another side. I went with mac & cheese. Sweetie's mom's mac is the best in the world. I'm not kidding. This is not quite that good, but is a very good homemade version, loaded with cheese, and baked in a big pan. Service was excellent. Prices are a bit steep, but good for the quantity and quality. Canned pop. Cheap plasticware. I was leery, but the pork chops were so tender that even a plastic knife pulled them apart easily. Hardly needed it. The place is not fancy inside. Old, but clean, a few booths and tables. You're there for the food, not the decor. Or, come in and pick it up and take it home. And have better silverware... I will definitely be back. I loved what I got, and was enticed by some of the other things.
