I always see them at different event and finally try them for the first time at the Worthington Arts Festival. Fork in Nigeria mission is to bring on the traditions of authentic Nigerian cuisine as they serve around the area in their food truck. I did studied the menu beforehand, as I'm not quite familiarize with Nigerian cuisine. This time I got the Stewed Chicken meal. It include the stewed chicken leg quarter, jollof rice and sauteed veggies. The chicken itself is moist and pair with the tomato based stew sauce. It is full with flavor and definitely loving it. The jollof rice is fluffy and also tomatoey as it stewed in flavorful tomato and pepper puree. read more

I love the food so much. I have had the stewed chicken meal wit, stewed beef meal (in the picture), edikang ikong stew, okra stew, fufu, and jollof rice. Everything has been delicious, haven't had anything bad from here. The food is so flavorful and nothing is too salty, just very well seasoned. The meat was very tender in both the beef and chicken meals, though I will mention that some of the beef chunks were all fat without any meat. My only experience with Nigerian food and it is very good. read more

This was my first time trying this restaurant and I really enjoyed it. I ordered the jollof rice with stew, plantain and vegetables. They didn't have any more jollof but they had fried rice. I previously had their jollof rice and it was good so getting the fried rice was this time was cool to try. Everything was really good from the fried rice, veggies, plantain & the tomato stew. Def get the tomato stew! I also ordered a zobo drink and it was amazing! I would definitely recommend trying this place. The service was good as well. They were apologetic for not having jollof rice but accommodating by offering me two other options of rice they had available. Finally as far as the ambience it's def a carry out spot in the winter time but they do have some outdoor picnic tables to eat at during the summer read more

I am Nigerian, born and raised, and I make egusi soup in my home. I tried Fork in Nigeria's egusi soup, and it was unfortunately not good at all. It barely tasted like egusi, and I actually could not finish it. Very disappointed, especially because I heard so many good things about them, but I now suspect that most of those good reviews come from non-Nigerians who don't know what it should taste like. read more

I have eaten at this food truck twice at different festivals. Both times i had Fufu and both times it was excellent. The Fufu was so light and fluffy and the stew to which a very generous chicken portion was added was delicious. If you like rice and vegetables, then this is your place. But stay away from the Goat Stew and check your plantains! We just tried the Fork In Nigeria food truck at the Worthington, OH Art Festival and we're sadly disappointed. The Goat was gamey tasting and almost all FAT. LITERALLY CHUNKS OF FAT! And we had no desire to put our fork in that. The plantains were well seasoned with a tomato based sauce. First couple pieces on top were a little under ripe, but tasty. After the first layer was gone we were left a pile of over ripe mushy disgusting plantains, that should NEVER have been served to anyone! Lucky for us we have Nigerian friends and know what good Nigerian food should taste like. I wouldn't waste a fork on this mess! read more

I called the guy And told him that I only got 2 peaces of goat meat. he stated that it comes with 4 and I paid for extra. he literally put me through the ringer for 40 minutes over some meat. I felt that out of respect of a small business I would call and see if he could correct the issue instead of dealing with the bank. An in-law raved about this spot while visiting jn Columbus Ohio and I wasn't impressed at all. Firstly, it is a food truck and they had a schedule of where they would be and we got there and there were not there. Wish they would update things as they go. Secondly the food was over priced $15/$16 for some meals that I think should be $12 max. Thirdly the food wasn't that great. The Egusi was watery and the jollof was not good at all. The only good thing on the menu that I tried was the Suya. That I could go back for whenever in the area. read more

Great opportunity to try Nigerian cuisine. Very friendly vendor. Tried the Moi Moi, a Nigerian steamed bean pudding made from a mixture of washed and peeled black-eyed beans, onions and fresh ground red peppers. It is a protein-rich food that is a staple in Nigeria. I loved it and will get again! Also had the very traditional FuFu which is an acquired taste but I was still happy to give it a try. It was a spongy dough made from boiled and pounded starchy food crops - I think they use carvasa. You take small pieces and dip into a stew. Do not get it beef which was a poor quality (thus the 4 instead of 5 stars). read more

I ordered the okra and pounded yam. The okra was like a stewed okra. It was good but both items cost me $13.50!! Tasted good but not worth the price in my opinion. That's their business & I can't knock them for it. I'm used to more than a bowl of soup for a price like that. Service could've been better as well. I made a purchase on 5/23/2025, at around 5:30 pm, for Egusi Soup and pounded yam. I even uploaded a picture of the meal after it arrived on doordash. After consuming the food, approximately 30 minutes later, I experienced stomach upset, followed by diarrhea. Unfortunately, as of today, 05/26/2025, I continue to experience persistent diarrhea and vomiting. This incident appears to be a case of food poisoning, which has not only caused discomfort but also rendered me unable to retain any food or liquids. My overall health has deteriorated significantly, leaving me weak and fatigued. Despite my efforts, I am compelled to visit the restroom frequently to alleviate my symptoms. A visit to the pharmacy yielded no relief, as I was advised that the food poisoning must run its course and be flushed out of my system. If my condition worsens, I have been informed that I should seek emergency medical attention at the ER. Notably, I have previously consumed African cuisine from various restaurants without incident. Food poisoning is not something that feels great on someone's insides, it makes you feel extremely uncomfortable and your guts feel like someone is tying and squeezing them together. Therefore, I urge you to investigate this matter, discard any contaminated food if any and utilize this feedback as an opportunity to improve your food quality and safety protocols. Hopefully it's better the next time around if I am to make another purchase but for now I am disappointed. read more

After seeing pictures online for months I finally got to try some authentic Nigerian Fufu with goat meat and Egusi. I let the staff pick my meal and they picked right because this is so flavorful and delicious. I also tried Puff Puff which is a Nigerian sweet bread that was also amazing. Fried plantains, ox tail, vegetables and rice, it was fantastic. It had a spicy sauce on it that had so much flavor, the ox tail was cooked so well and the plantains were perfect. First time trying Nigerian food and they did not disappoint. Service was great - they were out of the beans for our order and were so nice to call and accommodate a substitution. Sauces and flavor was amazing for the kale and spinach stew with Fufu. The Fufu really balanced the spice. Puff puffs were great alone but I also dipped in my stew. My favorite was the beans and dodo meal. We substituted rice since they were out of the beans but it was still really good. I haven't stopped think about wanting more all day. read more
