Cashier likes to rush you saying "are you ready?" even tho other customers are standing your way to the register .

The reason they do not allow returns is because the quality of the merchandise is crap. I will never spend another dollar in that store

I…read moredon't know everything about cars and have been faced with people trying to rip me off before. After my car unexpectedly died over the weekend, I realized I was way overdue for a new battery, and initially thought to go to auto zone, but a friend said they'd overcharge me. So I went to this O'Reilly's because it was the closest to where I was that day. Dennis helped me find the battery I needed, gave me a discount through my company, and offered to install the battery. But it doesn't stop there. Upon taking my battery out he realized the issue was much more severe than I previously thought. My negative terminal had partially separated from the coils because it was so old (7+ years) and had been leaking a significant amount of battery acid...two inches of it to be exact was just sitting in the battery compartment. He could have sent me away, but he and Matt grabbed soda powder from the back and poured it all in the compartment to soak up the acid and then vacuumed it out. It took a significant amount of time that they didn't have to give me, but I was so incredibly grateful not just for Dennis's cleaning and installation of it but also taking the time to explain what was going on and what I should do in the future. They both were kind and did not talk down to me, as is common in the car-world to women, and this I almost appreciated more than anything. Matt even recommended a good mechanic to me who could take a good look at anything else that could have been affected. After Dennis was done soaking up and vacuuming up the acid, he installed the battery and sealed it with some grease, etc. I could not have had a better experience and will be driving out of my way (30+ minutes) from now on to visit this specific location next time I need something. These guys rock.

I know I have a bad oil leak and needed more break fluid, thanks to my dad walking me through those steps on how to figure out what my car needed. I went to auto zone - as it is the closest to my house and they just didn't want to help me, I brought in my used oil container and they sent me to O'reilly...where I was then met by Kent, he was gladly to help me and he did all the research to make sure I was getting the right oil, the right breaker fluid for my car. I will never make the mistake of going somewhere other than O'Reilly's again! Thank you Kent!

This place is really cool as yes... it is highly vintage oriented merchandise but we noticed more artsy and crafty items that were for sale too that were amazingly cool. So that added a further unique spin to this place. Also there was a plant vendor too that sold lots of different kind of little cactuses in various colored shades which further enhanced this place. I saw things of a vintage nature I liked... which were mainly old action figures... that was a lot of fun to browse through checking out all of those!

So I'll start with the bad. My two kids and I spent about an hour in here and spent $77. The staff…read morewas straight up rude. No kindness. Monotone interactions. We checked out and the guy at the register didn't say hi, offer and kind of greeting... NO pleasantries. Just here's your total. Then shoved the bag over. Genuinely just prickly interaction. So 1 star period for the service. Selection is a 4 star. Why?! Because it's OVERWHELMING!! It's a giant flea market with so much to look through you could probably spend half a day!! But DO pay attention to the prices. Some are astronomical... As in you could get the SAME thing at Goodwill (yes Goodwill!!) for nickels on the dollar (as pennies are no more lol.) Other items are truly treasures or good deals (stay AWAY from the plants. They're incredibly expensive!!!) I got some crystals to fuel my spiritual guidance and my daughter got a bracelet and my son got Hot Wheels. (Which he paid 3 times what they were worth but it was his $$ To spend!) I'll definitely go back as I love to browse. But maybe I won't buy next time because I'd rather support local businesses that show their patrons love.

Gorgeous iron garden tools with wooden handles; lovely scented Twig & Moss luxury candles; local artisan jewelry - necklaces of many lengths, earrings and rings; bright melamine salad bowls with bamboo interiors; vibrant dishes and serving pieces. Backpacks and crossbody bags mingle with scarves, warm camping blankets, placemats, table linens and ceramics. There is a little bit of everything! Any item purchased here will elevate your space and experience. I was seriously impressed! For example, they have round, portable charcuterie boards that when you twist the top, a bottom drawer is exposed and contains four different cheese slicers and spreaders. Now that's clever, functional and beautiful! With all the wine tasting I do, I need one of these! The shelf stocked with specialty teas was it icing. The canisters were adorned with stunning papers collected from around the world and hand wrapped making the canister as special as the tea contained within. If you purchase one for a gift or for yourself, it would be proudly displayed on counter and not behind a cabinet door. The orange poppies were my favorite in case someone wants to buy me a gift! At JP General, ordinary items are anything but ordinary! Hellagood brand blankets that have warm faux fur inside and a durable fabric outside that fold and strap so you can easily bring camping, keep in your car for outdoor concerts or use around the house. This is just one example. The store is just delightful! We spent so much time walking slowly, checking everything out, reversing order and making additional laps - we didn't want to miss anything! Nestled amongst the many stores on SW Capital Hwy in charming Multnomah Village, JP General is a must visit! Heck, it's even a worthy destination.
