This is my first purchase of a camper and won't be my last. I will definitely be upgrading and will definitely not be looking at a Forest River. I purchased a Clipper 9.0TD with V-Pkg used with just 3 trips taken and the screen room only put up once. Besides the poor quality of the camper (not original owner's fault) that includes too small of screws to hold in pump-it fell off, to screws not being all the way screwed into the wood under the bed, bed platform poorly designed, the plumbing not installed correctly which caused it to fail, to the extremely poor quality of the screen room. A horrible experience and product for a first time buyer. Also, General RV, where the original owner purchased it, has also been terrible. There are plenty of manufacturers out there, so I have plenty to choose from. All their customer service said was "sorry."

2021 forest river! Piece of junk. Owned it for 1 month fridge doesn't work fresh water pump doesn't work two doors wont shut inside because the framing is crooked , kitchen sink faucet leaked at handle had to replace after it started spraying everywhere, Shower hose exploded on first shower had to replace, Grey water and black water level gauges are totally useless. Solar package was a con its just a plug no controller or function. We have cleaned out roughly 300lbs of saw dust wire stripped bits cutoffs and trash behind all the hidden access points. Blinds are all shredding apart on edges, dents dings poor finishes all around. Faux hardwood vinyl floor is bubbeling in some spots! Oh and the speakers for the radio lastet 2 days they now sound blown. Gutters outside are crooked and don't work, a 38000 dollar piece of crap, you have been warned! Please be aware , this camper looked like a million buxs when we toured it beautiful colors , led lights, big screen tv and fireplace etc., yea we got suckered big time, look behind the fancy stuff and remember the fancy is the cheapest crap from alibaba.com Oh yea, Propane hose for outside grill was missing on delivery. This is not a dealer problem its a forest river problem! Ill be posting this on social media and a youtube video is coming.

They forgot to prime a panel on some units. Our 2016 trailer starting peeling on just this one panel. Other owners have had same problem. We contacted them and they refuse to work with us. Why should we have to pay the full repair cost...ridiculous!

Bought a brand New Georgetown Gt7 32j 2021 model, Worst experience of our lives so far ! Warranty nightmare ! Loose trim, Inoperative appliances, propane leak in the furnace flooding the coach with raw propane, poorly routed wiring , water tank siphons out while driving, the dry coach is too heavy for the suspension causing it to ride on the bump stops and giving us an extremely rough ride, the fit and finish of this coach is horrible, the list goes on and on. We spent an extreme amount of money on this coach only to have devastating disappointments and to be put off by the selling dealership ( De Martini RV ) and lack luster response from Forest River. read more

My granddaughter recently acquired a mid 90'd travel trailer called "Forest River" in good shape. We need a manual. Called the only number (sales) for that brand shown on the "contact us" website and was told I would need to know the manufacture name to proceed. Hello? Forest River? The sales rep tells me there are 100's of independent Forest River manufacturers and I would need to know that name. Forrest River. Absolutely zero help. read more

I bought a Forest River Cherokee arctic wolf limited edition this this was such a mistake I thought being an arctic wolf this would be a really good trailer love the floor plan but after owning the trailer only a couple months the sewer can't come apart making sewer all over in the underbelly inverter quit working some of the lights in the backup camera we're very poor but either ship did their best to get this stuff fixed and for the first year was great about fixing the stuff 3 years in now the seals around the slide of all ripped off the roof is leaking caused water damage on the inside the plumbing has leaked and caused damage and when I called the Forest River and said I got a 12-year warranty on this roof I need to get this fixed they said have you maintained it I've owned the trailer for 3 years it shouldn't need any maintenance in history years they wouldn't cover any of the damage I suggest you try to even find a phone number for the warranty department at Forest River before you buy and if you do find a number call it and see if you can get a real person on the line I will never buy Forest River Products again read more

I bought an Rv from Santa Paula RV May of 2022. That RV is a Forest River Salem Hemisphere 356QB. During the time that I had it, I had 3/4 slide outs leak. I've had a lower sweeper seal completely ripped off. I've had a water leak behind the wall of the bunkhouse leading into the back bathroom. I've had a water heater fire from poor placement of the 115v plug for the water heating element. The plug was placed directly under the shower drain on the deck. Water completely pooled around the plug in and caught fire. I've had studs try to poke through the rubber roof when walking on it (Im nowhere near the weight limit.) I've had so many issues that aren't even named here. I finally was able to get repairs on the coach. Forest River honored my repairs that needed to be done. I had the RV delivered to Fontana CA for all repairs. The RV was turned in early May, and here I am heading into August. I've been in contact with the repair facility in Fontana as well as the parts department for Forest River. Today I was notified that the Water Heater had arrived last week (finally.) Today, 25Jul2022 I learned that the water heater was damaged. Not because of the shipper, but because of the way the water heater was packaged. Today again, I contact the parts department to notify them of the damaged water heater that they pulled from their production department. The phone was answered by a woman named Heaven who was laughing while she answered the phone. I'm fine with having fun in the work place, however, In a job where you provide customer service, that is the incorrect way to answer the phone. Then I hear cursing in the background and also it sounded like this woman Heaven was trying to impress her friends by the way she was talking to me. My time was wasted completely in this process. It sounded like the mailroom from the movie elf starring Will Farrell. It's no wonder I've been waiting on my parts for so long. Their is zero accountability held. I asked to speak to the Manager who had worked out a deal to get me this broke water heater. She had immediately said that he was busy, trying to make me feel stupid. I'm a full time RV'er as well as Active Duty Navy. Im not going to sit here and say that I'm special, but I obviously rely on this RV. I can say that if this were the case in my workplace I would certainly get hemmed up for it. I've had nothing but a negative experience with Forest River. Forest River does not supply proper quality assurance walk around so prior to sending these units out. The entire organization or company is a complete joke. I will never buy another Forest River product. No person should have to rely on a company who has owned a system that just doesn't work. The people don't work either and do not care about you. They've already gotten your money. Don't waste your time. Buyers beware. read more

I have been nice until now, now I am letting my frustrations out. I want to know how this family owned business employs people like Ron levitz. He is the customer service manager for forest river and treats customers like clowns. I purchased a brand new XLR Microboost toy hauler in may of 2020 and had a decent time with it until last year. My trailer was taken in to a local camping world here in st George Utah with warped siding. After taking it in I was charged about $150 to have them tell me the defective siding wasn't covered. My trailer has now been at camping world/ gander rv for 8 MONTHS because forest river is a joke. I sent an email to Ron levitz and Angie smiles on march 3rd of '22 an will attach that to this review and after finally mentioning seeking legal counsel I was called within 30 minutes by Angie. She has been good to talk to the couple times and hasn't given me a cold shoulder. She just stresses the fact that it basically just her doing that job which sounds horrible. After getting off the phone with her It was followed by a call from Ron levitz. This is when the non sense started flowing. He has done nothing but make false promises. I was guaranteed my material would finally be shipped on march 25th and would be in st George around April 2nd. After not receiving confirmation that it was being shipped on that day I confirmed this week with gander RV that it STILL HAS NOT EVEN BEEN SHIPPED. it's now April 15th and I have been ignored from Ron since then. I'm out of words to describe the way forest river has handled this situation and disgusted with the way buying our first new trailer has played out. this will be updated as time passes. read more

Purchase our 2023 Coachmen Galleria MSRP 220K plus and was happy at time of purchase. However, everything went downhill very quick. Got home after purchase and had a propane gas leak (what?). Cabinet drawers/doors didn't close or stayed closed; Solar Panel wired backwards kept getting errors; Drain valve for both grey and black tanks were stuck and had to be replaced; macerator didn't work; a couple of the blinds/shades were broken; reading lights didn't work and on and on.... Got everything fix by RV dealer and thought we were good to go, NOT. Got 2 recalls for NHTSA/Forest-River for Galleria recalls; 1) power steering can short causing lost of power steering and awning can extend while driving.... Called Forest-River Customer Service (574) 829-6319 and got extremely bad customer service. This guy had a serious attitude . So, Forest-River is building high dollar Coachmen crapped RVs and the recall customer service guy has a serious attitude. BUY ANOTHER BRAND. Never again for me!!! This RV has been in the shop more than it's been on our property since purchase! read more

I purchased a new 2018 Coachman Prism Class C Motor home in Florida where I reside, with a one year new vehicle warranty on the coach. I expect, like most RV owners, I use my coach outside the neighborhood of the selling dealer. I traveled from my home to Vermont to camp for the summer. During this travel I experienced 2 problems that are covered under the warranty. ( slide problems and the radio does not shut all the way down after vehicle is turned off and runs the chassis battery dead when stored ) There have been other problems that I corrected myself. I was shocked to learn that Forest River dealers are not obligated to perform warranty work on units that they have not sold new. So unfortunately, I am finding out that the dealers refuse to do the work, something about not being reimbursed for the actual total time it takes to correct the problem(s) I did find one dealer who was willing to do the warranty work as long as I obligated myself, before the work was started, to pay the difference. Quite the warranty huh? You might want to rethink buying a new RV from Forest River....that of course is if you plan to travel with it. read more

I want on the band wagon too of warning anyone I can about this company!! I was so excited to buy my 2020 R-Pod trailer earlier this year (pre-Covid) and was fortunate enough to take it on ONE adventure! I've been dying to take it on a second adventure as the weather has been perfect. Unfortunately, I have not been able to use it for the last 3 months because it has been in the repair shop. Forest River has refused to communicate with myself or with the dealer to get what is a simple fix for a specialized part that is known to break. Not to mention, that all of this is covered under warranty. Had I known that Forest River customer service was so subpar, I would have gone with any of the other many options out there. I would NOT recommend buying from Forest River if you actually intend on using your trailer. read more

Unfortunately zero stars is never an option. In 2018 I had reached a decision to commit to 'tiny living' or minimalism... in my naïveté, I decided Warren Buffet was a successful, respectable investment manager, and would stand behind a quality product. How dumb was I...?!? Billionaires obviously got that was by ripping off actual working class individuals and speculating wildly to our society's deficit. I've had nothing but a nightmare with my 383RBLOK since I bought it. Electrical fire, poor manufacturing, leaking propane lines, cheap appliances, poorly designed lavatory systems. Even with a 5 year extended warranty through camping world...(never once honored btw) which failed to cover my black water tank falling out the first week I moved in. People aren't meant to live this way, save yourself, I live in a 43' prison, with far worse facilities. read more

Junk campers / Rv with little to no dealer help on a brand new unit!! Great quality control FR and Pete's Rv south Burlington Vt for catching this hacked garbage prior to selling to me as a brand new unit. We will never think about using FR nor dealer for future purchases as this is absolute junk. Thanks for telling me to call around for Mobil units but pretty sure that should be on you ! We love our T2445. We've owned it for 6 1/2 months. The dealership had it the first 2 weeks we owned it, now has had for almost 2 1/2 months to do some warranty repairs. Granted, there is not a lot of camping time in the PNW during winter months. But, since COVID it's been my home office until taking it to the dealership service department. We can't wait to get it back and start enjoying it again. read more

Two years ago, I bought a brand new No Boundaries trailer to spend a lot of time traveling. I was out on my first adventure for about three weeks. Everything was well until it wasn't. It started with the air conditioner link a pool of water in the middle of the night. Then it became one thing after another. The primary problem is the underbelly is holding rainwater. This is routing the floor and creating mold, for two years now. They have had my trailer all together for more than six months, always 1 to 3 months at a time. Forest River took it to there manufacturing plant. Indiana from Florida and back again but still will not take responsibility that this is unrepairable. Now it has been over two months since the dealership has it, and the warranty lady Danielle at Forest River told me to stop contacting her. My extended warranty is up, so now I will have to be responsible for everything that goes wrong. I have not been able to take this trailer out without coming back to bring it right to the dealership. The quality of these trailers are not worth the money you invest in. The quality does not match what it is suppose to be used for. I would be terrified if I were to take this trailer off the grid. This is how they got me to invest. Totally false everything! The Solar panels will not run the fridge, by the way. In my first week two days, I lost all my food because of this. So much I can't even tell you what a huge mistake this trailer was! DONT BUY THESE TRAILERS FOREST RIVER DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBLE FOR THERE PRODUCTS. read more

Hello, we are on our second Forest River TT, the first had some comical engineering issues i.e. location of grey and black tank lights being 4 feet off the floor in the bathroom. Our next Unit, most likely our last Forest River product, was not comical, but patently silly and quite expensive. The schwintec controller was located under the bathroom sink on the floor with a myriad of water pipes over it. One kinked hose, crimped most likely during install leaked at the crimp, flooded the Lippert controller (not water proof) and we were stuck with the tip out in the out position at an RV site. The controller is about $400 and the labor $350. Very poor engineering and or quality control rears its ugly head here. we plan to avoid Forest River in the future. EdB read more

Forest river has shoddy trailers and they know it, which is why they will not honor their warranty. If you are able to get the company to return your call it's just so they can tell you they won't cover anything, particularly a roof that's supposed to have a 12 year warranty. read more

Unfortunately our brand new R-pod 190 caught fire due to a electrical issue Turns out there are known issues with the r-pods and recalls because of fires. Lucky for us we were not in the camper. Normally when we camp we go out for the day and leave our dogs in the camper. Thankfully because of the pandemic the camper was just being stored and not in use. According to a lot of the R-pod board it is happening frequently I hope at some point they take care of the issues before someone gets hurt. FYI It was brand new we never even had a chance to use it Lucky for us it could have been tragic read more

We are a retired couple, and have been RVing for 40 years. We purchased our last fifth wheel, a 2018 Cedar Creek Silverback 35IK fifth wheel. This is our fifth RV, and our last. The coach layout and product is excellent.. It is stored under cover and waxed yearly. The front Cedar Creek decals, and two other decals on the rear slides are also coming off. Now I do understand things go bad, but three decals not installed properly does not make sense. I got in contact with the Consumer division and spoke with Kathryn, she is GREAT...Her boss the so called direction of the consumer division Steve Hall, is a different story.. I have left 10 phone messages and countless emails.. Not a single call or email. Then he called and left me a message. I have tried to return the call no avail. I did receive a call from Kathryn and she said Mr. Hall is offering a ONE TIME CONCESSION because the $50K coach is out of warranty. I replied " I do not want your charity" and will purchase the decals. Now I am not able to get a return call from the parts department? We owned 4 other fifth wheels, and NEVER had an issue with decals, other than some fading. I am really surprised that Forest River, who spends millions on marketing and advertising , wants a billboard going down the highway, to have bad products. To bad.. I would not purchase again. .Good Luck read more

We purchased a 2021 Cherokee 294rr vin 4X4TCK32XMX147198 in January 2021. Upon purchase and use of the camper we have had issues. The first big issue was with the entry door. On our third use of this unit it began splitting at the bottom corner and would not close or open properly. It took 7 weeks for us to get a new door put on under warranty. The week we got the door fixed, we took a trip and hauled our 853 lb 2020 Harley Davidson Roadglide special in the back. The toy hauler is rated to haul 2000lbs. Upon arriving home from the trip and preparing to unload the motorcycle, we discovered that the back tire of the motorcycle had broken through the subfloor. We immediately called camping world to initiate a warranty claim for this repair. After weeks of waiting we were contacted by our camping world tech and advised that Forest River had denied our claim. They stated that Forest River believes that the motorcycle was in motion when the damage occurred and it looks like someone "popped a wheelie" while trying to load the bike. (Yeah, they really said that) I took it upon myself to call Maddison at Forest River to explain what happened and find out why the claim was denied. She told me that the motorcycle was in transit when the damage occurred therefore it is the customers fault and no fault of the builder. I advised her again, the bike was stationary and the camper was in transit behind our Silverado, which was in motion. (Newtons laws of motion, seriously) Of course the bike was in transit! The 835 lb stationary motorcycle was strapped down in the back of the toy hauler, rated for 2000 lbs, being hauled by a Chevy Silverado! Anyways, after speaking to Maddison she agreed to resubmit my claim for approval after denial. One week later, our claim is denied again. This is no way fault of the customer and the subfloor of our toy hauler should have never broken through with an 835 lb Harley. read more

Forest River has been absolutely horrible to deal with!!! They have lied to us on multiple accounts, refuse to honor their warranty and so on!! I could go on and on!!! Actually, we currently have a claim open with the BBB and Attorney General with hopes to resolve the issue. We have every intention to start a lawsuit if a resolution (replace or refund) is not found in mediation. We have contacted attorneys and have complied a good case. We have lost all faith that forest River will honor their word and actually fix our camper to working standard, not to mention the camper has been unusable since December 2015 - Currently. read more

If I could give this unit zero stars I would... Paid cash for 2021 Arctic Wolf 3880 Suite. Delivered May 17 2021, 94 miles, and unit started to fall apart on towing. Underbelly hanging down, other parts of under belly shredding apart, both axles bent, LED front lights & solar do not work, water up in the tongue, pop up trim hanging down on ground, awning does not close all the way so it can't be towed, caulking gooped all over, fenders loose, trim loose, trim too short in several places or too long so beveled trim or pieces spliced in, door frames and outdoor cabinet frames not squared, metal cable on 2 pop ups coming apart, one pop out is beveled, screen door won't stay closed, 2 closet doors are broken, no caulking around base of shower, thermostat fell off the wall, plastic fitting came off and were on the floor, fridge and entry door has dents, maybe 20 more things damaged from the manufacturer and tons of cosmetic issues. Notified the dealer and Forest River immediately upon delivery and 6 weeks later nothing is resolved. 30 phone calls, several emails, 24 one minute videos, 40 still photos, and I am still fighting with them. From day one I asked for refund or replacement but they want to repair it. No one will guarantee in writing that the unit is safe from propane, water, or electrical issues that may cause and accident, injury, or death or that they will take 100% responsibility for this. Unit is a lemon and has so many defects. Shoddy on the outside with horrible workmanship, shoddy on the inside and who knows what is inside the frame? Forest River is not taking any responsibility for this and putting it on the dealer. Now I have to pay several hundred $$$ to tow it back to the dealer and they want to fix it. And I just found out no one will tow it because the awning won't close all the way and is tearing apart. And it has to go on a flat bed...a 5th wheel on a flat bed, ok I don't know how that is done? So I am out $70,000 cash, that is all we had in savings, the unit is not usable, and the unit is falling apart. Even the electrician came out to put a 50 amp in for the RV stated, "what a piece of junk!" It is sitting on my ranch a as a decoration. I do not recommend this brand at all and I am super sad the Forest River did not stand behind their product. It is a piece of junk and if I wanted a trailer with defects, I would have saved $40K and bought a used unit. DO NOT BUY Forest River brands as they do not stand behind their products! read more

I have own many campers. Ranging from pop-ups to travel trailers to 5th wheels. And in all that time I have NEVER experienced such a horrible camper like the one I have now. If I didn't know better I would think monkeys assembled this 5th wheel. I bought a SEF384QBOK. Brand new from the PA rv show in 2017. When I got it home, the hydraulics failed. I was on the phone for a cpl of hours trying to fix the issue. There brilliant suggestion was to drive it back to Keystone rv in Greencastle. A simple 3 hours away. I guess they assumed I had nothing better to do, to fix their issues of incompetence. I resolved the issue by tightening the hose fittings(something they neglected to do). Fast forward... Replacements: Reclyner chairs(broken), couch in back(never screwed down), fresh water holding tank replaced(cracked flange), back cabinets(latches didn't secure doors closed during travel), shower door fixed(screws missing, awning replaced(off centered-would hit the slide out),water lines leaking(fittings not tightened properly), had to remove underbelly to tighten hydraulic fittings(leaking and camper would lower after set-up). Trust me, when I say there is more. Ordering parts...door latches, handlesets, bathroom faucets etc.."You'll have to bring it in, so we can properly match the parts up". Apparently these campers were made by Dr. Frankenstein . The fore-mentioned monkeys that must have assembled this camper must have lived in a cave prior to joining this team of incompetence. In my opinion, if you buy one of their products, then you will get what you deserve... read more

Since we purchased our trailer in November 2020 it had been in the shop off and on more than we had it. It started with ramp not level and water coming in, then a busted pipe in bathroom. We noticed nail holes on roof and outside walls due to poorly made and poor inspected. The slide out was not secure or sealed property, all the tires were bad, some were already separated. A most importantly now the floors were not laid correctly, it has been in the shop for 4 months waiting to be repaired. We will never buy another forest river product. I can tell the service department people are trying to help but it seems like they have such a influx of bad campers being made that their repair shops are over run with need for repairs. We have missed the whole summer with our camper. It is such a disappointment for our family and a big loss of time and money for us. Our camper when in the shop on February 6 and is now at the second repair shop. We are so sad that we are making payments on something we have not been able to enjoy. read more

I had a hose leak from a long staple used to cover water and HVAC lines under my toilet. When I went to go look for the leak, the hose busted and flooded my rear bathroom. A week later, the door latch to the camper fails, leaving my wife and 4 month old son and dog stranded inside for hours. Both times we had to call an emergency repair company to fix each issue. Forest river claims that they dont know if I cause the issue myself so they arent willing to compensate. They also said they dont provide assistance for out of warranty units. The warranty is a 1 year warranty. I have sent pictures and evidence that clears up any misunderstanding and they still refuse. I talked with 3 different people (Brian knight , Nick Hoover, and Bob Byrne) about this and the only reason they are getting 2 stars is that the gentlemen all responded but didnt satisfy my issue. These repairs were over one thousand dollars and caused a lot of frustration. My last time buying a forest river product. read more

I would not at all recommend a Forest River Product. They are shabby made and they do not stand by their product. I have a 2019 and purchased in dec. For 6 months I have had nothing but problems, propane leak inside, water in the walls, the belly falling down along with the shower, and a dangerous electrical issue I have delt with for over a month. THIS UNIT IS A LEMON and all I asked is to replace it. But no, Im an easy target because Im not healthy and my husband is in Iraq 9 months a year. I want to add my voice to the chorus of "Don't buy Forest River Products" I owned a new 2019 Forester 2401W MBS for a total of 5 months or 14000 miles. I bought it in February when it became apparent that my husband could no longer fly to Arizona for his monthly treatments. This small Class C on a Mercedes Sprinter Chassis seemed just right, sleek looking, not much larger than a truck, fast and economic to drive, spacious floor plan for the night. I might have gotten a lemon, but this unit was poorly made, using cheap plastics for locks and latches that constantly broke; Outside compartments kept opening up in mid-drive and could not be reliably locked; The glue used was sub-standard, the floor discolored, the rubber cover on the stair cover came off, sending me flying to the floor, the bathroom mirror came loose, the wood looking paper veneer peeled off; The hub cap came off almost immediately; Something was wrong with the electronics, when it rained, the LED park lights stayed on for a few days; The touch-screen monitor was temperamental and didn't work reliably all the time; the waste tank handles didn't close the valves properly, showering me with gunk every time I opened the sewer cap. I suffered through the first few repairs in good humor, being able to schedule them between my trips to the hospital, BUT when the slide-out malfunctioned on the 5th trip, leaving me stranded until Road Service jammed the slide back in, breaking the trim, gaskets, rails inside, leaving openings for wind, dust, insects, hot air and yes, vermin to come inside, when I was not able to schedule warranty repairs before the summer was over with any of the Forest River dealers in Montana or Arizona (when Co-Vid hit in earnest and America discovered camping, repair appointments were months out) Forest River Customer service initially proposed that I drive it broken with 4 x 4's holding in the slide, which I tried for 1500 miles, but gave up when the A/C gave out because of the excessive heat coming in. I did receive a very nice letter from the CEO, Peter Liegl, assuring me that Forest River is very interested, and that somebody would be in touch. I could not wait any longer and traded this lemon in at a substantial loss. Buyer beware! read more

We purchased a 2022 Sabre 38DBQ in February of 2022. We have had several issues come up in the 6 months we have owned it. We have found random screws laying around. Not sure where they came from. The sliding barn doors have fallen off because the tracks have fallen off. The hardware holding the doors up on the track have fallen off and the screws would not go back in. The frame around the shower is coming off. There have been several pieces of trim that have come loose. One of the shades fell off and now we can't get it to go up or down. While trying to use to open the awning the arm bent and now it will not fully go in and we can't use it. The numbers on the Stove handles came off and couldn't see what temp you are cooking at. Both air conditioners do not work correctly. It took us over a month to get someone to respond to us only to be told that we would need to get an estimate at our cost and send it and photos to the company for them TO DECIDE if it is covered under the warranty. When I asked why anything needed to come out of our pocket as we haven't had it, but 6 months and we bought it NEW they told me it was company policy. The craftmanship is horrible and they don't seem to want to stand behind it. I will never buy a Forest River product again and will tell all friends and family not to as well. We purchased a 2017 hardside a-frame and used it twice in 12 months and had an issue with the Co2 detector and the battery that was installed at the dealer. Bottom line is I was told that there would be no warranty for either one because "it was over 12 months old" irregardless of the fact that we used it twice. So, I would think twice or three times before purchasing because after it leaves the lot, it's all on you. From the plumbing being backwards camping world knew and didn't repair it to pump going out new electrical cord outlet bent awning now the refrigerator needs to be replaced and I was charged for warranty. The outside walls have warped and my inside wall all popped out at each seam. My unit will be fix and sold ASAP read more

This company is a joke. We bought our Gre Wolf in July with the intention of living in the RV full time for a year. We made this clear when we bought it. Our fridge went out 6 months later under warranty. We called the forest River service locations, and they all told us they were booked out for 2 to 3 months. We called a mobile RV service on our own dime, and they told us the fridge was bad, however, I noticed how easy it was to install. I called Forest River hoping for some help with my problem and that maybe they could just give me a new fridge to install myself, they said I shouldn't be living in an RV in the first place and they can't help me at all. The customer service is a complete joke. I have to buy a fridge myself now to have a working camper. This company is terrible read more

We purchased a brand new 2019 Cherokee grey wolf. The dealer dropped it off at our place as their mechanic had messed up our electric plug on our suv when they tried to connect the trailer. ( we had to pay to get that fixed as they broke a bracket off the plug) we got the trailer and discover numerous issues: Scratches on back of island- caused by table not placed right and it scratching the island when slider closed scratches on table same as above issue scratch on back cabinet from removing a advertisement sticker from manufacturer. island kitchen faucet no water ran from it. ac runoff running where there is a split in the rubber gasket above the slide out instead of where the drain runoff is located? *furrion stereo system will not pair with phones. Comes with a upg ng error. Pair the phone with the system and link it then when you try to play music from the phone on the system it errors out with the upg ng and shuts down. I called the manufacturer and they claimed they never heard of such a error and instructed me how to reset the unit which I did 2 time along with forget the system on the phones. The error still reoccurred and could not be corrected. Leak on water tank under trailer Once we took our unit to the fun town rv service repair place in Cleburne, Tx it took over 2 months to get the replacement radio we were informed that our slider had a issue about 2 weeks into the repairs. Remember this is a brand new, never used trailer and we now have a issue with our trailer which we were told was a gear pack. now we're waiting for a gear pack that we were told had been fixed that isnt fixed but no there another issue now the slider that opened and closed just fine when we dropped it off and had been tested by fun town Waco now has leaking hydraulic cylinders. I got this long unbelievable explanation: R&R'd gear pack assemblies on DS slide but rear gear pack still slipping and jumping. Removed j-wrap from slide and bolts through slide frame to slide floor. Jacked slide room off of frame and extended slide. With no weight from the slide room, the gear pack did not jump teeth. Removed both gear packs again and compared to old and found both to be the same. Ran gear along lower teeth of inner arm and seem to be off a little on the rear arm but not to bad. With frame extended, measured and inspected outer sleeves. Found the rear outer sleeve with the hydraulic cylinder attached to be bent at the opening and the ears that hold the gear pack has different measurements from the bottom of the ear to the bottom of the sleeve. It appears the ears for the gear pack were welded on incorrectly. Additionally while inspecting the underneath portion of the slide, found the hydraulic cylinder leaking at the piston seal. CORRECTION: Recommend removing J-wrap for the DS slide and the wood behind the j-wrap. Pull slide out a foot then remove all anchor screws holding the slide room to the frame. Slide room will need to be raised and supported in middle to allow slide frame to be extended fully. The slide room cross member will need to be removed so the hydraulic cylinder can be removed as well as the gear packs and the rear inner arm. The welds first the outer sleeve will need to be cut as well as the welds for the hydraulic cylinder. Once welds are cut, the outer sleeve can be removed from the chassis md replaced with a new one and welded into position. Will need to weld new brackets for the hydraulic cylinder. Once cooled, new nylon plugs will need to be attached to outer sleeve and new inner 989E We have not been able to get any help from anyone. Not from fun town Waco who we bought this unit from. fun town Cleburne won't even call us with updates so we have to keep calling and emailing or we go weeks without word on it. We are on 3 months now that they have had our trailer, that we have never used, that we are making payments on. I got a hold of Brandon at the corporate office for service and he was rude and not helpful. Apparently forest river uses 3rd party parts. I told him my trailer is brand new and he told me that it happens as the parts are 3rd party and the sliders are tested at the plant then at the lot so in other words they use cheap crap that after a couple of times using it that it will break and they will have to cut up your brand new trailer. Wow are we having fun yet. None of these places have offered us any compensation for the loss of use of our new trailer that we have not had the opportunity to even enjoy once. I would not do business with any of these companies ever again since they have no clue what customer service is. I hope many people that read this run from any trailer or product made by forest river and also don't buy anything from fun town rv as none of these places value their customers. They take your money and sell you broken down items you can't use. read more

I purchased a brand new Coachman Liberty Elite Edition travel trailer last May from Reliable RV (Springfield, MO) while still living in Branson MO. We permanently moved a week or two after the purchase to Fresno CA and were living in the trailer full time. My wife and I were looking for a home for the first couple of months and chose a new build home that will be done in February 2017. Because of this we continued to live full time in our new trailer. Around the beginning of October we noticed that the linoleum in our bedroom started to bubble up and we had no idea why. After doing some investigation we found a small pool of water in one corner of our bedroom which is on the opposite wall of where the bathroom/shower is located. I also looked outside and found that there was some water in the exterior kitchen area and water was dripping from the trailer in that area on the ground. After additional troubleshooting we found that this water only leaked during and after someone was taking a shower which obviously points to that as the cause of the issue. It took me two weeks to get in touch with someone at Camping World after leaving multiple voicemails and paper messages. Camping World is a recommended service center for Coachman warranty work and I got their name from someone at Coachman. I finally made one last attempt to call and make an appointment with the service department and if it went unanswered I would have to drive into the location to get someone's attention. Surprising enough I was able to get a service tech on the phone and make an appointment for the following week. I dropped the trailer off at camping world on October 24th 2016 to have the repairs completed. This was where my problems began. In the six plus weeks that the service department has had my trailer they've been mostly unresponsive only calling me two maybe three times without me prompting them to provide me a status of where they are at. Most times after I haven't heard from anyone in a week or so I have to call and leave multiple messages to get someone to return my call. Even then I usually only get assistance when I happen to get someone on the phone at the time I call. I've been told that they're staying in contact with Coachmen only to find that they haven't spoken in weeks. So they've been lying to me and really haven't accomplished much of anything over the last six weeks they've had my trailer. From my discussion with the Camping World service tech the items that they have completed should have taken no more than a day to complete but here we are almost seven weeks later still waiting for the return of our trailer. At this point I'm out $1000.00 in boarding fees for my two cats, plus the money I've had to spend driving back and forth between Bakersfield and Fresno so I can still attend meetings for my house build and make my monthly Dr's appointments. I've already been told that I will not be reimbursed for these expenses from Coachman as well as Camping World which is not acceptable. I understand that not everything built new is built with quality unfortunately however I think that my out of pocket expenses given the length of time I've been sitting here in limbo are now Coachmen's responsibility. Either replace my trailer with another one or take some other action that will expedite our trailers repair and return. I will not be purchasing any more Forrest River products in the future given how they treat brand new customers in need of warrantied repairs. I will also be placing this bad review on Yelp and other sites in the hopes of deterring future customers from having to endure this type of treatment. It's too bad that it had to come to this however I don't see any other recourse since Camping World has continued to forced me and my family to be homeless for going on six weeks and Coachmen, who recommended them, is doing nothing to get them to expedite my repairs. Also the last word from CW is that they're working to get approval to repair the linoleum, which they've known from the beginning it would need repaired, why they waited till now to get this approval I have no idea. They're also waiting for some small parts that they've ordered to repair the shower doors that they've told me won't arrive until Christmas. I've never in my life heard of parts taking 3 weeks to arrive. read more

Truthfully I wish there were minus 3 stars!! We have a 2012 FR Rockwood 26'. Bought new Owned it for 42 months and been in the shop for various problems 21 months. The first couple of years we had many issues inside, day/night shade broke, fan in bathroom didn't work, microwave didn't work, shower pan failed (not enough support), slide out constantly out of adjustment (too light of frame, trailer sways), light fixtures went out, oven door wouldn't close (they replaced whole new stove), lettering peeling on the outside, etc... The main issue is that it sways horribly! At first we thought, well it can't be the trailer?? Right!! We put over $7K in our truck and new WD hitch system.. And still sways! That's when we started researching what the actual problems were. It sways no matter if there is stuff in there or empty.. Cargo weight is about 700lbs! Not very good.. When we bought the trailer dry weight posted on sticker 5800#. Actual dry weight 6700#. FR switched out axles and tires to heavier duty. Took it back to Illinois to adjust axles. Still has same problem won't' stop sway, sometimes this problem runs us off the road!! I am working with warranty agent. When we got the trailer back after it went all the way to Illinois and back, the trailer still sways. "Roger" told me that they went from 8% tongue weight to 11.3% tongue weight and that was an acceptable tongue weight! He lied to me and told me that what was required was 12% so they were within the guidelines! NOT! It is 15% tongue weight. So his answer was put water in the tank to add tongue weight.. A bit "oakie" I would say! Its been over 2 weeks and I have not heard anything from him about how they are going to solve the problem. We don't feel at all safe towing this trailer. We want our money back or a new trailer! We have jumped through every imaginable hoop! We have put 8K miles on our truck pulling trailer to different shops to have it fixed!~ NIGHTMARE! Update: Warranty agent ignored my emails for 2 weeks. I finally called him. He told me they had done all they could. And wouldn't be doing anything else for us!! On 6/22/19 we purchased a new 2019 Forest River Sabre SRF31IKTC with a list price of over $60k. We traded in a 2009 Forest River Wildcat 5th wheel trailer. We were very happy with our 10 year old trailer so felt that a new Forest River product would be the way to go. We could not have been more wrong!!! We had issues right from the start. The night we picked it up the exterior lights did not work. After 3 hours of looking and blaming my truck they found a short in a wire. Each time we have used the trailer more things go wrong. We had had fridge, water heater issues. There are far too many interior issues to list. We have loose cabinets, loose moldings, broken blinds. Plumbing issues. We even have screws coming through the exterior fiberglass because the wrong screws were used during assembly. I have contacted Forest River. They really don't seem to care. I would be ashamed of the poor workmanship and lack of quality control. Beware of any Forest River product. The dealer has been great to try to resolve the issue that we have had. They are also frustrated with the Forest River product. Buyer Beware!!! read more

I never write negative reviews; I find it distasteful. This is going to sound like exaggeration. If I did not have this experience, I would not believe it myself. Do not buy a R Pod- buy Jayco! I have never had such a bad purchase experience. In the first year I had 15 warrantee issues (first 15 issues listed below). I only took it on one significant trip right at the end of the warrantee period due to Covid travel restrictions). I bought a lemon and asked for a 12-month warrantee extension. On our next trip I had a near death experience when the axle broke at 60 MPH. My requests for warrantee extensions were ignored even though we have had 7 water leaks, we have been stranded roadside (out of state) 3 separate times in the first 16 months of ownership. In the past 2 years I have had 40 workmanship failures on my 2020 R Pod 189 (listed below). I am writing a review now only because I just noted the massive bubbling of the paper-thin laminate around the kitchen sink. This is a major blemish that I do not know how to economically fix. I previously owned a Jayco 24 ft trailer for about 10 years with but one problem, (one water pump leak). Buy Jayco, they are built better, their 2-year warrantee is proof they stand by their workmanship. R Pod and Forest River make junk and will not make right when there are problems. 1. Delivery from dealer delayed 2 weeks, Air Conditioner defective, required replacement. 2. Upon pick up- obstructed slide, interior molding needing trimming. Not repaired. 3. On our first outing the heater would not work. 4. Curtain cord undone- curtain inoperable. 5. Rear window curtain would not stay up. 6. P trap disconnected draining water to the cabinet floor on first outing 7. Bathroom door handle loose and almost detached. 8. Shower hot water knob was detached and on the shower floor. 9. Outside door was impossible to close and open. 10. Dump line hanging bracket failed dragged and ruined the valve and cover- left stranded. 11. Two bolts for the entry stairs hanging loose. One was stripped 12. Dump tank retaining strap completely failed (again)- seriously stranded. 13. Rear curtain had dangling valance 14. Adjacent valance screws loose, ready to fail. 15. The rubber bumper on the door was dry rotted upon delivery. 16. Multiple dealer warrantee repairs inadequate- continued failures- I made repairs 17. Two individual steps loose, screws loose, one fell out 18. Fridge control panel repeatably falls off 19. Upper kitchen cabinet support broke 20. Loose screws, misaligned kitchen cabinet door 21. Lower kitchen cabinet doors loose 22. Bath under sink cabinet screws loose on door 23. Screws on exterior storage door not screwed in tight 24. Tear in upholstery caused from opening to bed (opened only twice) 25. Molding not nailed or glued, fell off (side of kitchen countertop) 26. Ball bearings on external stove drawer slide broke 27. Bathroom faucet plastic handle broke 28. Bath fan will not run low speed 29. Axle broke, wheel fell off leaving only spindle- stranded 12 hours, 6 months to repair 30. Water leak on a different drain fitting in bathroom 31. Water leak on hot water tank inlet fitting 32. Outside stove spray fixture line leaking at clamp inside trailer 33. Heater interior grate fell off, one screw not holding anything 34. Multiple screws not holding anything, miss aligned throughout trailer 35. Second hot water tank leak on another outlet fitting 36. Water leak on kitchen sink drain 37. Water leak under bathroom sink from vent when using black water tank rinse 38. Molding fell off by bed where heater space- not glued, 2 misaligned nails. 39. Bathroom upper mirrored cabinet screws loose- door mis aligned 40. Laminate bubbling up around kitchen sink- paper thin laminate read more

I purchased a 2026 Forest River Sabre 37RVMILES expecting a quality fifth wheel, especially considering the price tag of nearly $100,000. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing but disappointing. From the beginning, it's been clear that this RV was built with appearance taking priority over quality. It looks great on the dealer's lot, but once you start living in it, the shortcomings become impossible to ignore. Temperature control is one of the biggest issues. The coach is extremely difficult to keep comfortable because there are air leaks throughout the unit. It freezes during the winter and becomes unbearably hot in the summer, despite having dual air conditioners. To make matters worse, the air conditioners are incredibly loud. The list of quality problems has continued to grow: * Closet doors constantly fall out of their tracks. * The couch is made from cheap materials, and the slide design requires partially disassembling the couch every time the slide needs to come in. * The outside sprayer water line blew apart and had to be repaired. * The toilet plumbing was installed incorrectly and required modification. * The auto-leveling system has repeatedly failed with error codes, forcing me to manually level the trailer using the emergency hand tool. * One of the slides leaked water into the coach, soaking the floor before it was repaired. * Drawers won't stay closed while traveling. * Numerous air leaks throughout the coach make heating and cooling inefficient and expensive. What makes all of this especially frustrating is that these aren't isolated issues--they reflect a pattern of poor design, inadequate quality control, and cheap materials. This is my third RV, and it is, without question, the worst one I have ever owned. I have owned less expensive RVs that were built significantly better than this one. A fifth wheel approaching $100,000 should deliver quality, reliability, and thoughtful engineering. Instead, this one feels like a $20,000 trailer with luxury finishes covering up serious construction flaws. If I could sell it today without taking a huge financial loss, I would. Based on my experience, I would not purchase another Forest River product, nor would I recommend one to anyone considering a fifth wheel in this price range. Forest River needs to focus less on making these units look impressive on the showroom floor and more on building RVs that can actually withstand real-world use. read more

I Purchased this $50,000.00 RV as our families first in the summer of 2019. This was bought brand new off of the lot in Maryland which was only three hours away from my most local dealer who wanted $10,000 more for the same exact model. After purchasing the RV we took a few trips in it, and late Summer we sprung a hydraulic leak when leaving from a trip. After three months of arguing with forest river(entire fall camping season) they finally picked it up brought it to Indiana to have it "repaired". I was initially told that I had to take it four (4) hours away to have repairs done because their dealers do not have to adhere to the warranty terms or repairs unless it was purchased directly from them. I actually had a local dealer try to shake me down for $250 to bring it in under warranty repair and Forrest River did nothing . They finally picked it up three months after being notified, and brought it to Indiana to have it repaired this winter. It was returned in two months with a notification that everything was repaired. Due to COVID-19 we were not able to do any spring trips but, for the summer we are just planing for our first trip, and while De-winterizing it; the undercarriage filled up with about 60 or so gallons of water. Needless to say if I could give this thing back yesterday I would. Do not purchase a forest river product! They are built like crap, and their customer service is even worse. Do you self a favor purchase something different. I've been unfortunate enough to be paying for an RV for 11 months and I've only been able to use it four times. read more

Zero stars more like it. I ordered 2 replacement keys for a pop up camper. The keys cost $3.30 each That would be $6.60 for the keys plus shipping. They are tiny keys that easily fit in an envelope with a one ounce stamp. However they shipped the keys ups ground. I was charged $23.66 for the two keys. Which explains why they would not tell me how much shipping was going to be before hand. These people are crooks, when I upgrade next year it will not be a forest river product. I will not support thieves. read more

2022 coachmen Catalina 323. It all started on my way home from dealership. Hit a rain storm destroyed the out door kitchen cabinets. The floor has a hump they can't fix, had at least 4 leaks that I knew of. The craftsmanship is poor, warranty doesn't communicate, quality poor. I am like others if this place doesn't deserve a star. Do research $50,000 or less no lemon law, you are at your own risk when putting this kind of money into a unit that's a water bucket. read more

We bought a 2018 Dynamax Istata 3. So far it has been one problem after another. Right now our RV is sitting in a shop waiting for approval from Forest River/Dynamax to approve serious warranty issues. The Warranty Service Representative is unresponsive and unreliable so far. What a mistake we made thinking that this RV, made in the USA was even close to the one we had that was manufactured in Canada. We have much buyer's remorse. read more
