This is my first purchase of a camper and won't be my last. I will definitely be upgrading and will definitely not be looking at a Forest River. I purchased a Clipper 9.0TD with V-Pkg used with just 3 trips taken and the screen room only put up once. Besides the poor quality of the camper (not original owner's fault) that includes too small of screws to hold in pump-it fell off, to screws not being all the way screwed into the wood under the bed, bed platform poorly designed, the plumbing not installed correctly which caused it to fail, to the extremely poor quality of the screen room. A horrible experience and product for a first time buyer. Also, General RV, where the original owner purchased it, has also been terrible. There are plenty of manufacturers out there, so I have plenty to choose from. All their customer service said was "sorry."

2021 forest river! Piece of junk. Owned it for 1 month fridge doesn't work fresh water pump doesn't work two doors wont shut inside because the framing is crooked , kitchen sink faucet leaked at handle had to replace after it started spraying everywhere, Shower hose exploded on first shower had to replace, Grey water and black water level gauges are totally useless. Solar package was a con its just a plug no controller or function. We have cleaned out roughly 300lbs of saw dust wire stripped bits cutoffs and trash behind all the hidden access points. Blinds are all shredding apart on edges, dents dings poor finishes all around. Faux hardwood vinyl floor is bubbeling in some spots! Oh and the speakers for the radio lastet 2 days they now sound blown. Gutters outside are crooked and don't work, a 38000 dollar piece of crap, you have been warned! Please be aware , this camper looked like a million buxs when we toured it beautiful colors , led lights, big screen tv and fireplace etc., yea we got suckered big time, look behind the fancy stuff and remember the fancy is the cheapest crap from alibaba.com Oh yea, Propane hose for outside grill was missing on delivery. This is not a dealer problem its a forest river problem! Ill be posting this on social media and a youtube video is coming.

They forgot to prime a panel on some units. Our 2016 trailer starting peeling on just this one panel. Other owners have had same problem. We contacted them and they refuse to work with us. Why should we have to pay the full repair cost...ridiculous!

Do not buy from forest river! If you have the tiniest $800 issue that they know they messed up, they still won't fix it. I even went as far out as to pay for half so I won't have issues at all with the camper on leaks wise. denied. Forest river left a screw under the fabric so now it's damaging the fabric as time goes by. I found this as I was cleaning the roof after 3 months of purchasing it brand new. read more

Bought a 2024 forest river wolf pup 16bhs it's been a pile of garbage quality hands down went to pick it up leaving the lot the doors wouldn't stay closed without being dead bolted no matter how much you adjusted the doors. The window blinds cover is screwed to the wall panels with no studs or supports behind the panels fell off the walls driving home from the dealership. Took it camping for the first time the awning is pulling away from the wall needs to be repaired. The oven rang vent on the wall outside blew off from the wind on the highway the plastic tail lights walked past one and barely brushed it going past it's broken and the entire housing needs replaced not just the lense cover. Every time we drive the furnace cover falls off and the freezer pops open everything falling out. Just the absolute poorest quality imaginable. read more

I just saw a YouTube video regarding a purchase made by a person named Darra. The video describes how Darra and her son live in the RV and have been experiencing carbon monoxide problems that sent her and her son to the the ER. She has contacted the Zoomers dealership and Forest River. Despite the clear danger of carbon monoxide poisoning, there doesn't seem to be any urgency by the dealership or Forest River to get this issue resolved. Neither entity seems to be interested in the safety of the product they manufacture or sell. in 2020, I had a sales person inform me to steer clear of ANY Forest River products as they were known for extremely poor build quality and customer service. Thank goodness I listened to her and purchased a Grand Design Rv. read more

I would give it a negative star review if possible. It definitely doesn't even rate 1 star. We had a 2022 Wildwood 26DBUD that was literally in the shop more than we had it out camping. We had numerous repairs and contacted Forest River to extend our warranty past the 1 year. They told us they would take care of it if we would sign away our rights to pursue anything that happened after a two month extension, and we also could not tell anyone about our experience. The last straw was only 1 air conditioner on a 33+ foot unit, and no place to install a second air conditioner, and they also had no window tint. Needless to say when it continued to be hotter in the trailer than it was outside, we took a $10,000.00 hit and rid ourselves of the pile of crap. The workmanship was horrible. The sink fell in, the toilet leaked the bunk beds were not installed into a stud, the main front bed fell into the front compartment, the underbelly had to be re-installed, etc. etc. etc. So frustrating. I would never and I mean never purchase even a dog house from Forest River. We have a Jayco, and like the person stated below, we went back a couple of years and we love our new unit. Everything that Forest River wishes they could be. If there is anyone out there that has a Wildwood, I would dump it ASAP. Sorry for the bad news. read more

Terrible Customer service! We picked up our brand new camper and on walk through only noticed a black hand print on the air conditioner but after getting it home and tidying it up noticed that it was actually quite filthy from the building of it. They only cleaned what you could see. There was caulk everywhere including on the bottom of the seat cushions, foot prints on all the wood underneath cushions and mattress, silicone on the faucet spout, the hand print was actually grease and not dirt, the refrigerator had to be unscrewed to clean the layer of dust off it and at that time noticed it had a protective film which needed removed that we wouldn't have otherwise noticed, tons of metal shavings in the filter to the stove. A scratch on the stove. We also noticed that at night, one of the two blinds is see through. We sent pictures of everything to FR and asked they let the quality control team know and how to clean these substances. No response other that asking if we did a walk through and what our VIN was and that they saw no issue with the blinds (you could see me giving a thumbs up and that I had a yellow and red logo on my shirt, you could see flesh versus clothes). I supplied these items and waited...nothing. I reached out again and they responded wanting to know what they were supposed to do. I asked again about how to clean the substances. No response. We thought we were being super generous in not asking for anything other than cleaning suggestions but they couldn't even do that. Buyers beware to check your blinds to make sure you can't see through them! We added a lot of extra expense remedying that! Spent an entire day cleaning a brand new 16' camper! We would be very hesitant to purchase a FR again due to customer service not even being able to supply cleaning suggestions. What happens when the issue is a bigger one? We are first time campers and now wish we would've seen these reviews. Here's to hoping we have no issues in the future. read more

We bought a 2024 Microboost XLR 24LE in the spring. When we took it out, it began having multiple electric shorts throughout the camper. Our thermostat, motherboard to the heater, and converter box were all bad, as well as the safety hitch in the front having an electric draw that was wearing our batteries down to the point where the fridge wouldn't cool and the heater wouldn't work, on top of the aforementioned heater parts malfunctioning. We were 90 miles away from a dealer in Kalispell, Montana who couldn't help us until mid-September. We bought the camper in Hurricane Utah from PowerSports LLC, the owner who's name is Charles. Charles is useless and does NOT CARE. So we hired a mobile tech who didn't even bring an electrical tester. All he did was charge us $300 to replace the thermostat. He never diagnosed the motherboard. We struggled through the rest of the summer with no heater and a barely functioning refrigerator. At the end of the summer, I tried the heater and it wouldn't fire and also wouldn't shut off. Propane started pouring into the camper. I ran outside and told my husband not to fire up the generator, which he was about to do. We had been calling Forest River customer relations which never returned our calls. We finally got ahold of Angie Smiley, who is a warranty person, and she was very helpful. We couldn't find any dealer that could really help us even after we went back home to New Mexico. Luckily my husband knows something about electrical and we were able to provide pictures of what was going on. That's the only way our claim got paid. I only gave Forest River four stars because they let dealerships scam their customers, these dealerships need to have their licenses pulled. Charles at PowerSports LLC didn't care one bit that we could have died when the propane started pouring into the camper. And we would have had our camper sitting for months on end just like alot of these other people that have left reviews if he hadn't been able to diagnose the problems! Forest River needs to have some control on how their dealerships behave, because it is giving them a bad reputation. read more

We purchased a brand new camper (2025 Impressions 5th wheel) and when we received it there were multiple things (cosmetic) that should have not been the way they were when they left manufacturing. I don't even know where to begin with how unprofessional these people are. I cannot get a call or email back from April Samys and she will not get me in touch with her supervisor. After we purchased the camper I loaded up the fridge and freezer as I always do because we camp every other week and I don't like stocking it for each trip. Right before our first trip I went to put the final food items in the fridge (fresh fruits and veggies) and everything was warm. Hundreds of dollars of food wasted. It took a good month to get a new fridge and they did not compensate for the lost food and the best they offered was a mini fridge to sit in our camper for our trips. We had to take two trips without a fridge and the mini fridge was not large enough to stock the food for our entire family for those trips. The camper got sent to Forest River to fix the list of things that I found wrong with it. Two of the things were the bunkroom floor being too long and it folding terribly on the closet. Our dealer agreed it shouldn't be that long and the floor needed replaced. Without Forest River contacting me, they removed the floor and put a marine mat in there, then tried to pay me off with $500. Second, there were multiple places they damaged the floor during manufacturing and they epoxied those spots instead of replacing the flooring in a brand new, never used, made to order camper. Without making contact with me first to see if I approved, they cut those spots out of the floor and double sided taped new flooring in those spots. When I said I would not sign off on something like that they refused to speak with me any further or do right by their mistake. So now I have a brand new camper with a floor they cut up. Eventually the floor is going to start peeling up in those spots and there is nothing I can do to fix it because of the costs. I will never purchase from Forest River again. They are unprofessional and will do whatever they want to your camper without even speaking to you first. After reading other reviews, I wish I would have seen them all before my purchase. They seem to screw everyone over. read more

My experience with the Cherokee division of Forest River was excellent. Patty was great to work with and Russell did awesome in service! We were experiencing a few issues with our camper and we took it up for repair. They definitely went beyond what we expected when we dropped it off. They did a thorough walk through of our camper and spotted a few other issues with the camper we didn't ask for. As an example, we broke some of the curtain holders and they replaced them free of charge. I'm not one who usually leaves a review, but I was more than pleased with the service I received! I bought a used Forest River Travel Trailer and reached out to the company for some part information to do some maintenance via e-mail. I only resorted to e-mail because after calling the several different numbers for their manufacturing facility and customer service department, I cant get through to anyone who can help me. Got one e-mail response requesting VIN number so they could give me information. So I sent it a few hours later. Almost a full month and not a single response from the company. I have reached out 5 times with no follow up. Poor customer service. And these reviews reflect exactly that. read more

Have a 2023 Forest River No Boundaries 19.8. I had less that a year and had multiple issues. Had issues with with electric brakes and the cause is the hitch safety controller brake in case trailer get detached while driving. keep in mind my unit was sending 3.6 volts constantly to electric brakes even though pin is still intact in safety control box. My brakes are worn down and also unsafe to drive with only taken out six times. Keep in mind my unit is still under factory warranty and is being denied for warranty. My unit has been at Fun Town RV sin DEC 30th 2023 and has been there 2 months and 9 days. This is crazy. They take your money and praise to you there service department is the best. Go figure! In the future I will not recommend anyone buy forest River products due to the lack of urgency and standing behind there product. Ryan Whiteaker read more

I bought a new 2019 Dynamax Isata 4 a few years ago. A very nice RV. However, one or both of my holding tanks were having major leak issues when the tanks were more than half full. It took a couple maintenance visits to isolate the problem as a tank entry pipe separation issue. Fixed the black water tank while RV was still under warranty, and was paid for by Forest River. Used RV after that repair, and it was obvious the grey water tank was having the same issue. Went back to service center for further repair, and though RV was now out of warranty, Forest River stepped up and paid for the repair without hesitation. Thank you Colleen Adams, the Forest River rep, for your help and kindness! And thank you Forest River! Brian Perry read more

Stay away from Forest River Travel Trailers. Their customer service is awful. My brand new 2024 Forest River Cherokee Timberwolf 16ML, which is permanently parked, was delivered with the gray water (and black water) pipe broken and they won't send someone out to fix it and they won't pay the full bill to fix it. Here is my experience. 1. My brand new Forest River trailer was delivered with a broken dishwasher and broken gray water pipe which means the black water pipe is also broken because the gray water drains out the black water outlet; so, because the gray water pipe isn't connected, there is a huge hole in the black water pipe. 2. The dealership gave me 3 numbers to call to get help because the trailer is under warranty because it is brand new, and I'm too far away from the dealership for them to fix it. I called each number several times but only 1 number answered and there were no voicemails to leave messages at the 2 that didn't answer. The people that did answer the phone told me they couldn't help and gave me a new number & email. (So this is contact #4 at this point.) 3. I emailed and called the new contact. The person who emailed me back told me they couldn't help me (in all caps like a lunatic) and gave a different email (contact #5) which was supposed to be directly to the warranty people. 4. I sent 2 emails to the warranty email address & waited. & no one ever responded. 5. I looked on the Forest River website for a contact and it said call the dealership. 6. I called the dealership again. They gave me a 6th contact's phone number and email. I sent an email (with pictures of the broken pipe) to explain the situation. Note: I also called but I dialed incorrectly and left a voicemail on a complete stranger's phone. Whoops! But that nice stranger actual texted me the correct phone number 10 minutes later. I got better service from that stranger than anyone at Forest River. Sad. 7. Apparently, my email got forwarded around and after almost a week of waiting, a Forest River representative told me they can't send a tech out and gave me a list of mechanics who "might" help. And the representative told me to review the warranty; so, I don't violate some condition and can't get reimbursed. 8. I reviewed the warranty & learned that the warranty won't cover the full cost of the repair for a problem that existed when the brand new trailer was delivered to me. (Have I mentioned the trailer is new and has never been used? ) 9. I looked at the list of mechanics. The closest one is 60 miles away but most are 100+ miles away. No mechanic is going to travel 120 miles round trip to fix a pipe on a trailer. Recall: The trailer is permanently parked and the Forest River rep was told this repeatedly. 9. I reached back out to the Forest River rep and (and I was pretty irate at this point - so I wasn't super nice - cuz I'm only human) explained I need a real solution that will actually fix the brand new Forest River trailer that was delivered to me broken. I explained no mechanic is going to travel 120 -200 miles (round trip) to fix the pipe on the brand new trailer. I also pointed out that it is ridiculous that Forest River will not pay for the entire repair cost. I asked for a real solution that will actually fix the brand new Forest River trailer that has never been used and can't be used because it was delivered broken. Note: I'm not off the grid. I'm on the CA coast. 10. I got no response. None. 11. So I now have had a brand new Forest River trailer for almost 2 months that I cannot use and that has never been used because it was delivered to me broken & I am, of course, still paying for it. Do not buy from Forest River. They do not stand by their products or provide any customer service that will actually fix problems & their warranty is useless. You are throwing money away if you buy from Forest River. read more
People are quick to complain and write negative reviews the moment things don't go their way. I'm of the mindset that your review doesn't count unless you've given a business a second chance. My first Forest River product was a 2019 295QBLE Surveyor pull behind TT. In the year that we had that camper not a single thing went wrong. The dealership that we purchased from did a thorough walkthrough even before we did the final walkthrough. We loved that camper but decided to upgrade to a toy hauler. My next Forest River was a 2021 325PACK13 Wolf Pack 5th wheel. I purchased from out of state this time because I wasn't able to find one locally. I was unable to do a walkthrough because of the distance. Upon delivery right off the bat I found issues that should've been found at the dealership. Simple things like antifreeze not emptied out of all of the pipes even though we were told it was 100% dewinterized. I've seen a sample of a dealership checklist that is used before delivery and even before a final walkthrough. There were at least 10 items on the list that were obviously never checked before I received this camper. I wasn't angry with Forest River/Wolf Pack at this point. I was angry with the dealership for allowing this product to be delivered to the customer without a thorough walkthrough. Several failed attempts to find a resolution with the dealership left me at a loss. The dealership seemed to shrug their shoulders at me as though it wasn't really their problem now that it was in my hands. I reached out on a Wolf Pack owners page on social media. When Forest River-Wolf Pack learned of the problems I was having, my whole world changed. A Forest River-Wolf Pack representative (Jason Berges) contacted me immediately and got the ball rolling on fixing each issue. Mr. Berges never made me feel like "just another customer with problems". The level of customer service I've received has proven to me there is no other brand I will ever purchase from again. Thank you Forest River-Wolf Pack and thank you Mr. Berges. read more

NEVER AGAIN! We have dealt with terrible customer service and an Rpod 193 that is trashed. It has leaked since we opened it for our first outing. We purchased it BRAND NEW in September 2022 and have never ever been able to use it as it has sat in the dealer parking lot waiting for Forest River to pick it up. We contacted a Lemon Law attorney and are STILL waiting for some type of communication from Forest River. We STILL make a monthly payment, and insurance payment AND NEVER were able to take the unit on the road. WASTED MONEY -- WASTED TIME -- and we had to cancel the vacations we had planned with this RV. BEWARE!!! I would give them a zero if offered in the star ratings. The absolute most shoddy work I have ever witnessed. Our 2022 XLR toy hauler has been in the repair shop for warranty work more than our home (several months). Every time there is precipitation it leaks...soaking the floor and everything on it. Cabinets have to be replaced (falling apart). In the shop now for 3 months for that...still waiting. Water leaks in bathroom and kitchen sinks (cabinets needed to be replaced). Flooring not "stapled" to cross joints. Roof replaced. Dinette seating pulled out of wall (and we're not big people). Window treatments pulled out from walls. Anyplace there is a snap it's pulled from wall. I could go on. read more

We are on our 2nd camper with them and this one had a broken outdoor fridge. The invoice showed a pizza oven on it and was not in there. The dealer sent the fridge back and it's still not even approved to get the new one. The fridge did not get cold at all. We are on week 3 with a brad new camper and no outdoor fridge. When your paying the money you do you expect certain things to be found during prep....like a broken fridge that had the tape still on it. At my wits end with No Boundaries by Forest River. On Sep 17th, while coming off a 2,000 mile road trip to Yosemite, the rhino rack with tent and awning ripped off my No Bo 10.6 trailer, did 4 frisbee turns in the air and came crashing down into the fast lane of I93 between Las Vegas and Kingman. The weight alone (roughly 500 lbs.) would've killed anyone driving behind me. Luckily it didn't and skidded into the emergency lane. The lack of concern from the manufacturer has me stymied. I've been told it was a manufacturing defect but am unable to get any phone calls or emails back from their warranty/service department. This was installed at the manufacturer. I need to make sure all owners of a No Boundaries 10.6 trailer is aware of this as I do not believe any type of recall or notice has gone out from Forest River. Short of getting on a plane for Goshin, IN and sitting on their doorstep, I'm going to now blast this on Social Media. Please share as much as possible. I've also contacted 3 On Your Side, a Phoenix TV station that helps in situations like this. Not alot of pics but thankfully a very nice couple pulled over to help us load it into the back end of my truck. I've pretty much lost any confidence that this won't happen again as I've seen no proof of any root cause/corrective action. Again, please share! Update to this post: After 3 months of the worst customer service I have ever experienced with No Boundaries by Forest River, I decided to go talk to my salesman Tom's Camperland - Mesa. He was blown away by what I had experienced. In an effort to make things right, he gave me back full price on the No Bo 10.6 and gave me a great deal on my new T@B 400 Boondock. My nightmare is over. Although Forest River never seemed to care that their product could have killed someone, Tom's Camperland in Mesa did a great job resolving my issue. Adding pics of my new home away from home. Can't wait for my first adventure in it. read more

Sorry it's so long, it's worth the read / warning! We bought a forest River Wildwood trailer 33 ft long 50,000 plus dollars. And it had 40 items that were either incomplete or done poorly from the factory. Such as, 6 ft of missing sealant on the back corner where the 90° bead covers the staples on the edge. There were quarter inch holes all over the entire trailer where the sealant was put on so thin that it popped holes when it dried. The back window was broken and somebody did a poor job installing new glass in the frame got sealant all over the chairs on the interior and all over the frame on the window on a 7 ft by 4 ft window. I noticed the bottom of the trailer was bulging and loosened it to find that all of the sewer tanks are being held in by 1x3s barely holding on to the frame the weight is so heavy it's teetering on falling out. The electrical under the front of the frame I find has a interior electrical box that they did not use anything to secure the wires from being pulled out of the box or even to protect the wires from rubbing on the sharp edge The trailer only has about 150 mi on it and it is already showing signs of wear on the plastic wiring coating. Look for class action lawsuits against Forest River there's several for electrical and others stay away from Forest Rivers. When we purchased it at gander in Nashville Tennessee. They accused me of having too high of standards when they installed several items with that were bent. Not only is the manufacturer bad but the dealers service department is just as bad read more

Well, it has been 22 months since the purchase of my 2021 Forest River Sandpiper 420FL. This was a brand new, never-lived-in unit. I have spent a great deal of my own money repairing and replacing broken items in my RV because it became too hard to get warranty coverage to pay. Sometimes I simply could not wait to hear from the warranty department. In some cases, warranty paid but not the full cost of replacement." Destination trailers such as my Sandpiper 420 are an inferior product built without an understanding of the basic needs of the owner. And lack of transparency in customer service and warranty reflect lack of concern. The vendors I have dealt with were very helpful but since I did not buy the items directly from them the warranty becomes an issue. Problems Reattached weatherstripping under the front patio door. As soon as the tower pulled out of the FunTown RV parking lot a strip of plastic below the front pati door started flapping in the wind. Halfway to our destination we pulled over and removed the stripping so I could reattach it later. After arriving and setting up my RV, I reattached the stripping that covered a row of screws. Three weeks later the stripping was hanging off again. So I used JB Weld to attach it and now it is still in place. Stop valve in hot water heater broke. Had to be replaced along with anode (crusted with calcium and did not heat water). Full amount I paid, $419.56, for fix, along with service call to fix bedroom ceiling switch, was not reimbursed, $383.00, by warranty department. Anode replaced at my expense. Ceiling molding fell off. Had to use several types of adhesive to keep the strip in place. Since there is no insulation on the main roof or the roof of the slide-outs the sound of simple rains sounds like hail. The living room slide-outs house the sofa and chairs the noise can be quite uncomfortable and have no AC or heat. The kitchen slide-out housing the dining table and chairs is equally as loud during a normal rainstorm. The lack of insulation negatively affect the air quality and comfort year round. In the hotter months it is impossible to cool the RV. For example, it is 96 degrees outside, the thermostat in the kitchen is set at 72 but constantly reads 80 while the temperature in the living room is 82 degrees if I use an extra fan. I spend a lot of time adjusting the thermostat. The windows and window frames are so hot during the day that you can burn your hand and fingers trying to open or close the window. The bedroom stays close to the setting because it is a small room. The living room and kitchen are cooled by the same size air conditioner as the bedroom but the area is almost three times the size of the bedroom. My electric bill is $150/month just to cool the living room to 82 degrees. The Sandpiper should have three AC units. In cold weather, even though the heat is set at 71 degrees, the thermostat will read 64 because it is 44 degrees outside. There is no heat control on the thermostat in the bedroom. If it the thermostat in the kitchen is 71 degrees, the bedroom temperature is 64 degrees. The Sandpiper 420 should have a separate thermostat and heater for the bedroom. Even to achieve some warmth in the RV requires a lot of propane, usually a 30gallon tank every four days at $24/tank. Paneling in living room is bowed and separating. Taping the outside of the two panels together is impossible because of the bowing. Broken, bent screen door, roller at bottom broken off. Outside storage door can be opened even if locked, leads straight under my bed in my bedroom. I consider this a safety issue so I sleep in the living room and have duct-taped the door. Water runs off RV and run into molding/gasket for front slide out. I'm concerned the molding/gasket will rot and compromise the integrity of slide-out. The sliding door to the bedroom closet/washer and dryer closet fell off the track. The paneling is thin-walled and made of MDF so it fell away for the s The sliding door to the bedroom closet/washer and dryer closet fell off the track. The paneling is thin-walled and made of MDF so it fell away for the screws, huge holes now. The side wall of my living room slider started to leak at the floor level. Because this area is carpeted it took several months for me to detect moisture. Calls to Forest River resulted in the problem being passed from person to person who never returned my calls. After viewing several YouTube videos about leaking in sliders, I cut away the soaked carpet, applied rubberizing material to the plywood, and used Flexseal spray to seal outside walls. Bedroom ceiling fan stopped functioning. Replacement sent but installation not paid. I could list more problems but doesn't seem necessary at this point. Many of the problems are design and quality problems that cannot be fixed. read more

10/10 don't recommend Forest River campers. Our 2019 has a structural crack that went inside and outside randomly. Talking with insurance it's a manufacturer issue. After some research the structural cracks by slide outs are common issue with Forest River. They used to cover this regardless of who the owner was but now they state it's not covered unless you are the original owner. This will cost $5-7K + 3 weeks without our home. I will never recommend them to anyone. So much unnecessary cost & stress that we won't need since it will likely be fixed around the time the baby is coming. Cannot wait to get rid of this camper & get one with a brand that treats its customers well. read more

Bought 22 Sabre 37FLH. Long story short I had to hire an attorney because so many things we wrong. Small list includes absolutely no caulk in shower, No 55 in Smart TV, outside stereo and kitchen door not operating and broke. Theres more but too much too list. I got no help from Camping World of Toledo (where we purchased 5th wheel). Only call was from their GM Shayna ( who is the most unprofessional acting woman I've ever dealt with) wanting to know if my attorneys email was legitimate. She found out it was. They agreed after 3 months to give me a Smart TV. It was the cheapest model on the market. I would NEVER buy another Forest River product or Camping World. Both companies customer service are pathetic. Minus 100 if I could. read more

Please do not buy a forest river rv. From my experience they are mostly junk and their customer service is worse. I bought a 2022 forest river Sabre 37flh in March of2022. I picked it up from the dealership on March 31st and towed it to the campsite. When I got to the site the kitchen slide out would not move out. I was told to return it to the dealer which was not feasible since I was 150 miles from the dealership. I was then told to hire a mobile rv repairman which I did. The cost of repairs was a reasonable $295.00 which I paid out of pocket. I was then told that forest river would not pay the mobile service fee even though they told me to use a mobile service repairman. Since it was early April in the north east when I tried to turn on the heat, it did not work. The AC did not work either. The rv has now been in the shop for months with no date on when it will be repaired. I am now in the process of applying for a burn permit from the city of Goshen Indiana and if I'm successful I plan on towing it to the plant and burning it to the ground. I paid cash for it and there will not be an insurance claim filed. I am not crazy or a wacko, just a frustrated owner of forest river junk. read more

I contacted Forest River for an RV and they were very unresponsive , when they finally contacted back they messed up terribly with the job and then when I tried contacting their customer support they refused to take responsibility and were very rude .. You would think for such a big company they would care about customer satisfaction . Yet they are have terrible workmanship and is very unreliable ... I would not recommend them to anyone read more

We were basically sold a lemon by Forest River about six months ago. We have had problems with this fifth wheel from the very beginning. Our major issues are: Trailer brakes not working, freshwater tank is leaking, heater blows cold air, water is leaking in from the power connection, kitchen and door slide leaks when it rains/snows, carpet and flooring gets soaked and is now starting to cause mold, and the shower drain leaks into storage. Other issues include: The couches are now starting to rust because of the water leak, slide out molding on door slide has started to come off, curtain holders are broken, all shelves are falling apart above the TV and the ones next to the couch, front closet shelf has collapsed in the master bedroom, under the sink cover in the bathroom is cracked, the trim throughout the RV has or is coming off, the recliner chairs are broken, the windows constantly fog up and condensation happens throughout the whole RV, the TV is broken because of the magnet being too strong, all light fixtures have sawdust in them, the stove top needs replacing, light fixtures are falling off, outside sink had to be capped because of leaking, the USB charger on wall next to closet door doesn't work, shower door handle is broken, the middle step is loose, floor creeks on door slide out, shower drain leaks into storage, and little to no cold air comes out of the bunk and bunk room AC. Now we have tried to contact Forest River on multiple occasions and they keep giving us different numbers to call saying it's not their department or their problem. They said they can't help us. Forest River told us to call a mobile tech and we still have not received reimbursement for that. From the employees we've dealt with so far from Forest River, they definitely lack pride in themselves and their product. We want answers not excuses. We are tired of hearing, "well it's an earthquake on wheels". This many problems should not be happening to such a new RV in such a short amount of time. We bought an RV from a dealership that said they had faith in this product but that product has fallen short of its promise, its promise in craftsmanship and customer service. Forest River's promise is "to help all of our owners enjoy their RV experience to the fullest". How can we enjoy ourselves if we have to put the slides in when it rains, or watching the mold grow under the carpet from prior leaks? Forest River also states, "we have a passion for the great outdoors and want to enable our owners to experience all the beauty that Mother Nature has to offer. That is why we build quality, dependable recreational vehicles." That statement is far from the truth from what we are having to deal with. Is there no quality of workmanship anymore? Is there no pride in one's self? Is there no customer concern? Are we all just numbers to them or money in the bank? This is our temporary home while we are waiting for our house to be built. We cannot just "take it in for service". Forest River won't pay for a hotel room, and our extended warranty only pays for 5 days. According to different service departments we've spoken with, they are months out waiting for Forest River to approve a warranty ticket. Also the service departments are waiting months just for parts to be sent. When will Forest River take responsibility for what's going on? We want this company to make right of what is wrong. read more

I would give it negative stars if I could. 2021 Coachmen Crosstrek, went in the shop with over 50 issues within 2 months of getting it, got it back in 2023 and it still has issues, many of which are foundational and will always cause us trouble. Now they want to settle for basically nothing and the value is nothing as well because the RV is JUNK. Don't buy from them, they do not stand behind their brand nor admit to their wrongdoing. Sad for us when we were excited to finally be able to afford a new RV only to buy a piece of scrap metal and lose a TON of money. read more

I rarely write reviews but I wanted to comment on this one in order to save folks time and money. Dont buy a Forest River Mini-Lite esp the Rockwood. The steps broke, the tanks dropped down because the supports wouldn't hold, furnace works when it feels like it, the hot water tank switch stuck and you can't turn power off at the tank, major issue is floor gives way if you use your camper very much because it's make of very very thin ply wood and styrofoam. Not much support... they get around replacing the floors when they get spongy by saying the warranty says you can't live in your trailer. We did not but we use it a lot for camping, sometimes a month at a time. read more

I never write negative reviews; I find it distasteful. This is going to sound like exaggeration. If I did not have this experience, I would not believe it myself. Do not buy a R Pod- buy Jayco! I have never had such a bad purchase experience. In the first year I had 15 warrantee issues (first 15 issues listed below). I only took it on one significant trip right at the end of the warrantee period due to Covid travel restrictions). I bought a lemon and asked for a 12-month warrantee extension. On our next trip I had a near death experience when the axle broke at 60 MPH. My requests for warrantee extensions were ignored even though we have had 7 water leaks, we have been stranded roadside (out of state) 3 separate times in the first 16 months of ownership. In the past 2 years I have had 40 workmanship failures on my 2020 R Pod 189 (listed below). I am writing a review now only because I just noted the massive bubbling of the paper-thin laminate around the kitchen sink. This is a major blemish that I do not know how to economically fix. I previously owned a Jayco 24 ft trailer for about 10 years with but one problem, (one water pump leak). Buy Jayco, they are built better, their 2-year warrantee is proof they stand by their workmanship. R Pod and Forest River make junk and will not make right when there are problems. 1. Delivery from dealer delayed 2 weeks, Air Conditioner defective, required replacement. 2. Upon pick up- obstructed slide, interior molding needing trimming. Not repaired. 3. On our first outing the heater would not work. 4. Curtain cord undone- curtain inoperable. 5. Rear window curtain would not stay up. 6. I purchased a 2026 Forest River Sabre 37RVMILES expecting a quality fifth wheel, especially considering the price tag of nearly $100,000. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing but disappointing. From the beginning, it's been clear that this RV was built with appearance taking priority over quality. It looks great on the dealer's lot, but once you start living in it, the shortcomings become impossible to ignore. Temperature control is one of the biggest issues. The coach is extremely difficult to keep comfortable because there are air leaks throughout the unit. It freezes during the winter and becomes unbearably hot in the summer, despite having dual air conditioners. To make matters worse, the air conditioners are incredibly loud. The list of quality problems has continued to grow: * Closet doors constantly fall out of their tracks. * The couch is made from cheap materials, and the slide design requires partially disassembling the couch every time the slide needs to come in. * The outside sprayer water line blew apart and had to be repaired. * The toilet plumbing was installed incorrectly and required modification. * The auto-leveling system has repeatedly failed with error codes, forcing me to manually level the trailer using the emergency hand tool. * One of the slides leaked water into the coach, soaking the floor before it was repaired. * Drawers won't stay closed while traveling. * Numerous air leaks throughout the coach make heating and cooling inefficient and expensive. What makes all of this especially frustrating is that these aren't isolated issues--they reflect a pattern of poor design, inadequate quality control, and cheap materials. This is my third RV, and it is, without question, the worst one I have ever owned. I have owned less expensive RVs that were built significantly better than this one. A fifth wheel approaching $100,000 should deliver quality, reliability, and thoughtful engineering. Instead, this one feels like a $20,000 trailer with luxury finishes covering up serious construction flaws. If I could sell it today without taking a huge financial loss, I would. Based on my experience, I would not purchase another Forest River product, nor would I recommend one to anyone considering a fifth wheel in this price range. Forest River needs to focus less on making these units look impressive on the showroom floor and more on building RVs that can actually withstand real-world use. read more

I Purchased this $50,000.00 RV as our families first in the summer of 2019. This was bought brand new off of the lot in Maryland which was only three hours away from my most local dealer who wanted $10,000 more for the same exact model. After purchasing the RV we took a few trips in it, and late Summer we sprung a hydraulic leak when leaving from a trip. After three months of arguing with forest river(entire fall camping season) they finally picked it up brought it to Indiana to have it "repaired". I was initially told that I had to take it four (4) hours away to have repairs done because their dealers do not have to adhere to the warranty terms or repairs unless it was purchased directly from them. I actually had a local dealer try to shake me down for $250 to bring it in under warranty repair and Forrest River did nothing . They finally picked it up three months after being notified, and brought it to Indiana to have it repaired this winter. It was returned in two months with a notification that everything was repaired. Due to COVID-19 we were not able to do any spring trips but, for the summer we are just planing for our first trip, and while De-winterizing it; the undercarriage filled up with about 60 or so gallons of water. Needless to say if I could give this thing back yesterday I would. Do not purchase a forest river product! They are built like crap, and their customer service is even worse. Do you self a favor purchase something different. I've been unfortunate enough to be paying for an RV for 11 months and I've only been able to use it four times. read more

Zero stars more like it. I ordered 2 replacement keys for a pop up camper. The keys cost $3.30 each That would be $6.60 for the keys plus shipping. They are tiny keys that easily fit in an envelope with a one ounce stamp. However they shipped the keys ups ground. I was charged $23.66 for the two keys. Which explains why they would not tell me how much shipping was going to be before hand. These people are crooks, when I upgrade next year it will not be a forest river product. I will not support thieves. read more

2022 coachmen Catalina 323. It all started on my way home from dealership. Hit a rain storm destroyed the out door kitchen cabinets. The floor has a hump they can't fix, had at least 4 leaks that I knew of. The craftsmanship is poor, warranty doesn't communicate, quality poor. I am like others if this place doesn't deserve a star. Do research $50,000 or less no lemon law, you are at your own risk when putting this kind of money into a unit that's a water bucket. read more

We bought a 2018 Dynamax Istata 3. So far it has been one problem after another. Right now our RV is sitting in a shop waiting for approval from Forest River/Dynamax to approve serious warranty issues. The Warranty Service Representative is unresponsive and unreliable so far. What a mistake we made thinking that this RV, made in the USA was even close to the one we had that was manufactured in Canada. We have much buyer's remorse. read more
