His level of attention to site prep, dust control and clean up was impeccable. I also appreciated that he was respectful of our home and moved our items with care as he worked throughout the house.

I got them out for two different relatively small projects on two different occasions to the tune of $2000 and $1500. Here's what happened: Virtually all the repairs were TOTAL JUNK. In one cracks came back within less than a month - and that was after the decorator had painted the room and I'd moved all the furniture back! Other repairs bulged and broke away from the walls, again after I painted! I've had to have somebody else repair them. (And of course pay for them a second time!) The subsequent plasterers commented that the original repairs looked like they were done by a total amateur. McNulty didn't dig out the cracks. They didn't treat the surface properly so the plaster didn't bond to the wall (hence it bulged and fell off). With the really bad cracks at the corners of doorways, they should have dug out and put in metal mesh before plastering. All they did was slap some plaster on the surface. I did ask them to redo the first few cracks that reappeared - which they did. (Big deal they were on the premises anyway for the second job.) But then the second repair failed as well in short order so I gave up on them. The subsequent repairs done by other people are holding up so there isn't an underlying problem with my house. I happened to mention all this to a realtor friend who said "don't ever use them - they have a really bad reputation in our business". I don't know what happened to this company but PLEASE NOTICE THAT THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE A FEW YEARS OLD. They used to do good work but something happened awhile back. Too bad because it is really hard to find good plasterers.

Not only did he give me the best price, he started earlier than I expected and completed the job in one day. The crew showed up on time and worked hard to complete a tear off, repairs, new roof, proper venting and flashing on both the house and garage. Lorenzo even walked the roof with me on completion because I wanted to look closely at the details. Clean up was great. I highly recommend Lorenzo, Reliable and his crew. Great experience. Super value for the price.

The second pic is the copper the new roofer installed (the same work that Lorenzo was referring to in the text message string). The new roofer also confirmed that was one source of water leaking in my attic. He also found another leaky section where the roof was caulked instead of flashed. More cutting corners. These resulted in water leaks in my attic, entry way and garage. And in response to Lorenzo's comment on what's included in the 30-page insurance estimate - flashing is on the list, including step flashing, which my new roofer commented was completely original and not replaced when Mr Reliable replaced the roof. Another thing he was paid for that didn't get done. READ YOUR ESTIMATES CAREFULLY - I didn't and Lorenzo took full advantage. Bottom line, my out of pocket cost to fix what Lorenzo didn't was $2,700. This doesn't include the dry wall repair and painting still needed in the interior. Not to mention potential mold remediation. If you're read this far - move on. Find someone else.
