The service at FHF is exceptional. After walking in, I was quickly greeted and started the process of ordering 51st Anniversary flowers. I wanted an above the rim, spectacular arrangement that caught my sentiment fully. I was not disappointed as the designed, with my participation developed something to relay my feelings. Nothing was too difficult nor out of the ordinary for the shop. While I was there several of the staff discussed and offered their take and it was really appreciated. I was extremely pleased with the pricing and the value presence of the arrangement. It had to correct and when it was delivered (on time by the way) it was well presented, fresh, and cared for. My review is solely on receiving flowers from the company. I cannot speak to the actual ordering process, pricing, staff interaction, or comparing to what was "in the photo" when ordered. I, however, can speak to how beautiful, fresh, and full my arrangement is. This truly made my day when I received the delivery. Everyone who saw them commented on how pretty they are. I ordered a flower/vase arrangement and what the person received is a completely different arrangement and vase - not worth the $85 that I paid including the tip to the florist and driver. Not one single flower is similar to what I purchased. I find this to be a complete lack of integrity. I sent an email to the florist with my concerns and have not received any response. I do not recommend this florist. If you want your loved one to receive an arrangement you pick and pay for, this is not the place! read more

Very disappointed my wife didn't receive her Valentine's Day flowers at the school she works at during the time requested! She went back to work after returning home to look for the flowers. We did get a call from the delivery truck at 5:30 and the flowers were brought to our house. I was not home when it was delivered, but received a voicemail from the delivery guy that he placed it on our covered deck because he felt that the front porch was getting too much sun for the Lily. Had a small issue with flowers, called and person was rude. Manager called back and was better, they brought more flowers but wanted the old ones back(which I thought was strange. I happen to be gone for a few minutes when they delivered the new flowers and they called and insisted on coming back right away to get the old ones and kept calling to ensure they were going to get the old ones back. it just ended up being a not so pleasant experience after spending so much on flowers. read more

I often send flowers to other parts of the country for friends. When I've found an awesome florist, I work with them regularly because I'm confident that my friend will get exactly what I'm expecting them to get. They also send out an email with a photo of the actual bouquet saying that it was delivered. I never got an email confirming that it was delivered and while it's not a horrible bouquet it certainly isn't what the photo looks like especially since I paid for the highest upgrade - the deluxe! The description online also said that it comes with a beautiful blue (Azure) vase. That didn't happen and if you go on the website one day later to look for that bouquet and description it's nowhere to be found. The name and item number no longer exists. So bizarre. read more

I received flowers from this company. Instead of get well wishes I received condolences from a corporation. I felt bad for the ppl that should have had my flowers. When I reached the florist they put me on hold for over 15 Minutes and think it is really no big deal and I should just be ok with this. As far as the flowers being much smaller than the photo my sister sent me well my sister and stepmother did not buy the nicer package. I only received 2 roses in my display because that was all she paid for. never mind what she thought she was getting when she placed this order from San Diego California based on a photograph. They said Trust me she went cheaper. They took something that should have been a kind gift and turned it into a project for me and my family and made sure I knew my sister did not pay for the full size arrangement. I think they are rude and liars. If they get the greeting wrong it matters. I will not be contacting my sister and stepmother about this I will just tell you that they will give the least they can and really don't care if the message is right. I wanted to order a floral spray for my mother-in-law's funeral. I called Forest Hills Florist shop and spoke to Danielle about my budget and options for graveside flower arrangements. Looking on their website and talking with Danielle, I was able to order a beautiful custom spray with my choice of colors (pink, white and purple). Danielle explained how to keep the arrangement fresh since I was driving it to the funeral the next day. It was a gorgeous flower spray and exceeded my expectations. My Husband sent me a flower arrangement for our 40th anniversary. He is in California working and I am in Knightdale, NC. This was our 1st time being apart for our Anniversary since we got married. He wanted to send me something special, so he picked the "How Sweet it Is" bouquet. He paid the premium price for an arrangement, but did not get what he paid for. The arrangement was very skimpy, only had 4 roses in it, the photo had 12? and didn't look anything like the photo that he ordered. He could have sent me a single rose with some babies breath and I would have been happy, it is the thought right? What is not right is paying for something you didn't get! When I sent him a photo of it, he complained and got a 20% credit, big deal! So disappointed. I guess they figure they can get away with this most of the time. read more

Hearts is missing from the message and the company did nothing to fix the problem, especially given the circumstance.....a funeral!!! I would not recommend using Forest Hills Florist. I requested a delivery from Forest Hills Florist for May 26. May 26 was Memorial Day, but I was able to select the day on the website. I also received a confirmation that the flowers would be delivered that day. I found out from the recipient of the flowers that they were not delivered on May 26 or on May 27. When I emailed Forest Hills Florist to find out what happened, they said they had sent me an email saying that they were closed on Memorial Day and the bouquet and container I selected were out of stock. I did not receive such an email; I even checked my spam/junk folder. I will not be requesting services from them, due to the lack of proper information on their website and lack of timely communication on orders. read more

I have used this florist for many years and sadly i am going to write this review. I ordered a funeral flower stand from them for a very dear friend.. Unfortunately the flowers were delivered on Saturday to the funeral home and the very next day at the funeral they were wilted.. i was embarrassed at the condition of my flowers and feel that it was just a lack of quality of this florist to be the only reason for only one flower arrangement to be wilted at the funeral.. Therefor, i will never use this florist again.. They did ask me if they could do anything to make this right.. My reply was that it was already done and nothing could change that..i did not ask for any money back or credit.. i do not feel that this is what everyone should expect from this florist but do know it happened to me and it should never happen to another customer. read more
